Lingvo TV allows you to translate subtitles while you watch a movie online, simultaneously without distraction. This way, you can have fun and learn a foreign language at the same time.
Learning languages through movies is very efficient. You learn pronunciation, writing, and culture at the same time.
Supported services are Netflix, Amazon Video, and YouTube.
§ How?
LingvoTV mobile Web App receives subtitles from the movie while you watch it. It allows you to click on any word or word combination to translate it on any device, without stopping the movie!
§ Connect app and extension.
The extension is required to grab the subtitles from the movie and send them on to the Web App on your phone or any other device with a browser, which is why you need to play the movie in Chrome Browser.

En mi opinión no considero que sea eficiente.

From the Lingvo.tv site, on a Windows computer, I clicked on Install, I retrieved the code by clicking on the lingvo.tv extension. then I clicked on "Open App" and entered the code from the extension. I then opened another tab in Chrome and played a video from Youtube. When I open the Lingvo.tv tab, I only see the message "Play video to see the subtitles - Reconnect" Do I need to install dictionaries in Chrome?
