Bigger Notes is an awesome notes widget for Awesome New Tab Page. It supports basic bold, italic and underline formatting by pressing Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I and Ctrl+U respectively. Images and other web page elements can also be copied and pasted to the widget.

Requires Awesome New Tab Page. Download it from http://get.antp.co

== Can't resize the widget? ==
The widget may not be resizable if you already installed version 1.0.1. To enable it, select and copy your notes to your clipboard, then delete the widget from ANTP, open the widgets list, click refresh and drag it back in. You can now paste your notes back into the widget.

Tony D 2018-02-14: Great tool (Windows). Contrary to some reviews, you CAN format text by simply copying and pasting it from a word processor (or even a website). Anything you type after will use that font/size/color. You can even paste images.

Geoff Baysinger 2013-10-18: It generically does the basics. However I'm disappointed to find it is not synchronizing notes from the app across multiple computers. Would be far more useful if I had the option to "sync with other computers on this Google account". So I could jot notes at work or in the living room and have them appear in both places. Multiple instances could be handy, so that you could have a private unshared instance as well as another instance that syncs across accounts.
Anonymous 2013-05-02: Doesn't work at all, have emptied cache, restarted browser and computer, says it is installed but is not there, try to drag and drop, get red boxes and does not go on my so called awesome app page. If this problem is fixed, I'd give it 5 stars, but since I can't use it, well, it's one. Oh yeah, like Jason Brain said, doesn't work well on a Mac, I have a Mac OSX 10.7.5, and it doesn't work at all. PLEASE FIX FOR MAC AND IT GETS 5 STARS!
Nick Fiori 2013-02-06: Nice update to the original notepad widget. The resizing function is great. Is there a way to adjust the font size/type?
Jason Brain 2013-01-25: Great addition to ANTP, but I fear it doesn't work quite as well on a Mac. Underline and Italic works fine with CTRL (not CMD) but when trying to do Bold it simply refuses to work.

My page is wide.Several placements would be very convenient.Add square to check or strikethrough for to-do-list. Font selection and size. Color (& opacity)to separate topics.Five stars if make it more functional in the above ways.

David R Bellairs 2012-05-08: I like this widget, but it would be even better with a strikethrough option, so that you could write a "To Do" list and then cross them off as you completed the tasks. A great widget though, nonetheless.
