The only extension out there (as far as I know) that has a comprehensive (and working) instruction as what to do to use Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab to cycle through the last two previously used tabs (as is the case in Firefox). Shame on Google for not having this convenient feature!

• (2018-07-27) らんあら: ダミーでCtrl+Y,Ctrl+Shift+Y(※Yは何でも良い) 等のショートカットを設定してから、 Winの場合: C:\Users\<yourUserName>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Preferences Macの場合: /Users/<yourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Preferences を、 Ctrl+Y→Ctrl+Tab Ctrl+Shift+Y→Ctrl+Shift+Tab に編集するときちんと動作しますし、 [*** IMPORTANT TO KNOW ***] にもその内容が書いてあるのですが、 最初かなり苦戦し、導入に苦労しました。 インストール時にPreferencesファイルを自動で編集することは難しいのでしょうか？？ ただし、導入後は非常に重宝しています。 Ctrl+Tabを押した際に出てくる履歴一覧が、Win, Mac ,Firefox Quantum みたいに中央に横並びで出てくると、カッコいいですが、ちょっと贅沢かもしれませんねw

• (2018-04-01) Sid Sen: There is an issue with this extension. At times it does not show all the open tabs when you press ctrl+q (or whatever is the shortcut). Then I have to manually restart the extension, after which it works for a while.

Или так: в Chrome это адрес chrome://extensions/. В ЯндексБраузере browser://extensions/ 3) В самом низу страницы расширений есть ссылка "Быстрые клавиши". Нажмите ее и откроется окно "Быстрые клавиши для расширений". 4) Найдите пункт "Ctrl+Tab MRU" и назначьте в подпункте "Switch to older tab" любую горячую клавишу. Например, Ctrl+A. Для второго пункта "Switch to newer tab" назначьте, например, Ctrl+Shift+A. Сразу назначить удобные клавиши Ctr+Tab (следующая закладка по списку) и Ctr+Shift+Tab (предыдущая закладка по списку) не получится, так как при введении гор. клавиши браузер просто переключится на др. вкладку. 5) Запишите себе, на всякий случай, ID этого расширения: ialfjajikhdldpgcfglgndennidgkhik. 6) Закройте браузер и перейдите в его папку.   I never cared about CTRL+Y which still works. I was using it because it returned me to most recent tab after I closed current tab. Now I close tab and go to the next tab. At first restarting Chrome helped but not for long. Now even restart/remove.reinstall is not helpful. I suspect Chrome update did that...

  Hi, I am using this extension together with the The great suspender extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/the-great-suspender/klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg). When tabs get suspended they are removed from the tab list and I cant rely on the MRU order :/ It would be nice if the tab stayed in the list and you could switch to it and then it would re-load, like it does when you click to focus a suspended tab :)

  First of all, thanks for the extension. It works as expected except when you switch to previous tab in a google document page (in spreadsheet it works well). To reproduce it just create a google document from your drive and try to switch to other tab. The popup appears as expected, but you will notice that when you release the keys, the popup doesn't disappear and the tab isn't switched at all. However, as the popup remains visible, you can click with the mouse on it and it switches to the clicked tab. The bad behaviour doesn't happen all the time. It seems it has some relation with editing the document, because if you switch from any tab to google document and you don't click in the document to focus it, the switching works well. But if you do click on the document to focus it, the bad behaviour happens again. Hope you can solve it.

  Sorry, I know this isn't really what you wrote this extension for -- but it's the closest thing I could find. I would like to swap the control-tab and alt-tab behavior (so the opposite of normal keys for tab swapping and window swapping). Possible?
