- (2025-07-14) Michael J Barnes: This add-on works great! I have been looking for an extension like Xmarks for several years after it was shut down by LastPass and this does the job well. It takes a bit of time to set up, but--once it is running--it is amazing. I am able to easily sync between Firefox (and branches), Chrome, Edge, & Brave across two different profiles. Synchronizing with Opera (because of its different structure for bookmarks) ended up making a bit of a mess. Strangely, on Brave, it took what was on the bookmark in every other browser and put it into a folder with folders for other bookmarks all in the bookmark bar. While that one wasn't perfect, having all my bookmarks everywhere is great. Even the mobile app allows for two profiles, which keeps the phone in sync as well.
- (2025-05-11) Nils Hart: Chrome just started to crash about 15 seconds after opening. Fortunately I was able to open the extension page and one by one turn off each extension. Each time the browser would crash until I got to this one.
- (2025-05-09) Bad Monkey Productions LLC: All my Chromium based browsers (Brave, Edge, Chrome) crash now with this extension. Disabled for now until Floccus pushes out an update fix.
- (2025-05-06) C. R.: Chrome kept crashing because of this extension
- (2025-05-05) Ronaldo Vieira Lobato: I was using xBrowserSync, since it stopped working on my Chromebook, I changed to Floccus. It syncs flawless on Firefox, Brave and Chrome using Google Drive.
- (2025-04-08) Daniel-Mihai Condurachi: I installed Floccus Bookmarks Sync in Google Chrome and Brave Browser, storing the bookmarks on my Google Drive. For now, it appears that everything is working as it should. I hope in time it will perform flawlessly
- (2025-03-10) khalid rwashdeh: Floccus is a live saver for me, as I can now sync bookmarks between my different browsers on PC and Android.
- (2025-02-28) Obreten Obretenov: Work great across Edge, Chrome, Firefox!
- (2025-02-25) Walter Clements Jr.: Just a one-time setup and I don't have to worry about my bookmarks again. I'm using it on 2 different browsers and sometimes I don't even remember that I have this extension installed. Works great.
- (2025-02-09) Roby Ho: Good extension. Really ease my mind. Couldn't find a way to donate in China, so give this review. Hope it lasts long.
- (2024-12-17) Surya Ahuja: Floccus is a great tool for syncing bookmarks between various chrome profiles !
- (2024-12-17) Giuseppe Furlan: it syncs perfectly !
- (2024-12-16) Hristo Bakardzhiev: Absolutely flawless!
- (2024-12-06) Will Godfrey: Flawless! I've known since the dawn of web browsers that this should be possible, and 30 years later, this developer delivers! My bookmarks are continually synced across all my devices and different browsers. Thank you, Marcel!
- (2024-12-06) Sam K.: Janky, slow, cumbersome, and doesn't make any sense. It stores bookmarks in .xbel format on Google Drive but when you try to import them to a new browser, the extension just throws an XML error because, apparently, you can only sync .json files. Now sure, you can manually exports .json files and then upload them manually but it kind of defeats the whole purpose of "syncing." For example, all my bookmarks would be gone in case I lose my PC, unless I manually take constant backups every hour or so and upload them "myself" to a cloud drive. It's a real shame.
- (2024-11-24) Alex Castelijns: The best tool for the job, after looking for a solution to host / store my own bookmarks I came across Floccus in combination with Nextcloud. This has been a flawless solution ever since. Would definitely recommend.
- (2024-11-23) Michalakis Michael: Very useful app for privacy and multi platform use
- (2024-11-21) Jeffrey Krzysztow: I've tried quite a few bookmark sync applications and this is the first one since Xmarks that actually works! Thank you for developing this!
- (2024-11-20) Leo Byrro: It works like a charm!
- (2024-11-12) Gianluca Sini: Not able to make it work on any browser - instructions unclear, I'm stuck in the setup folder page "newly created folder" and "next" button is gray. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
- (2024-11-04) Misha: Fantastic, I can sync over chrome, FFox, brave. I use Git for syncing and it works flawlessly. Recommended . I am missing a good way to include safari.
- (2024-10-10) Oliver Kneip: Excellent AddOn for the sync of my bookmarks. Thanks a lot for your work.
- (2024-10-07) Huy Z: So far so good!
- (2024-10-03) Celeste Celeste: Looked good on paper but tried to use it with git and it duplicates everything like crazy when in merging mode. Only way to counter this is to have a master slave mentality and that's a shame.
- (2024-10-02) William Deneault-Rouillard: Just the best tool for what it does. The only one that works and it is reliable!!!
- (2024-10-02) Dog Ave: Nice tool
- (2024-10-01) Veli-Pekka Nurmi: I was looking for a way to sync Chrome bookmarks between different Chrome profiles, but that was not possible natively. Floccus solves this issue for me - thank you!
- (2024-09-26) Martin Griffis: This is a must if you want to sync bookmarks across different browser brands and different computers. Spiritual successor to Xmarks, although this is superior. End-to-end encryption!
- (2024-09-24) Andrew Boles (Drew): 'always merge' function between Chrome and Edge often doesn't work resulting in duplicates.
- (2024-09-09) Ian Stansfield: Works well. Only solution I've found to getting my Chrome desktop bookmarks into Android Firefox, or at least next to Firefox on my home page using the Floccus Android app,
- (2024-09-09) Chamcen L: Nice extension, works well on both my chrome and firefox account.
- (2024-09-07) 최근: Great!
- (2024-09-06) Wentao Liu: nice, but a little hard for newbie
- (2024-09-05) Massimo Cavalieri d'Oro: Fantastic free extension (and app available) that works like a charm! Support this project and it's very underrated.
- (2024-09-04) Alexandru Nedelcu (Alex): I'm using it to synchronise my bookmarks collection, between Firefox and Chrome or Brave. I'm using it in combination with Nextcloud Bookmarks. Works well ❤️
- (2024-08-30) Brian Shaw: Works great. I recommend it as a way to keep your bookmarks in sync and maintain your privacy.
- (2024-08-30) BloodyIron: The Floccus ecosystem, coupled with nextCloud Bookmarks App, has SIGNIFICANTLY improved my workflows for bookmark management across multiple computers. Not just in terms of performance transitioning between devices, but information retention due to all the Bookmarks being on my nextCloud instead of some rando computer I forget about, and that recent versions sync instantly. It didn't take much work to set up, and it was TOTALLY worth it! This is how I do Bookmarks now, and I have total control over all information, accounts, and all that. I don't need to rely on a third party like Google, or others, who sell off my data without my consent/control. The Floccus tooling ecosystem is part of the glue that binds my Bookmark workflows together, and it keeps on getting better! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Plus the Devs are legit cool.
- (2024-08-29) Dividends For Life: Excellent bookmark sync option. I have used it both on Nextcloud and Google Drive. I much prefer it to the other alternatives that are out there.
- (2024-08-27) Anat: Thanks to the creator of the application. Clever girl, this is what many users need to save their bookmarks
- (2024-08-14) NaCl: I have been using this extension for over a year now and I love it. It has the option to backup to multiple places including Github, and since I have the know-how of integrating github (git) to my personal apps I can even sync my bookmarks to my local projects! Love this!
- (2024-07-29) Jason Armstrong: Cross computer, cross operating system, cross browser bookmark synchronizing! Yes please! I wish everything worked as well as floccus.
- (2024-07-10) SVT: Outstanding work!
- (2024-06-22) Jess Hennan: Excellent software, well designed and implemented. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Appreciate the encryption and hosting options. Working flawlessly. Marcel has done a great job with this.
- (2024-06-10) Александр: Works on mobile kiwi browser with tab grouping and multi window, but can't sync tabs from any windows except main and sync tabs from group as simple tabs. So can be used only for bookmarks. Looks good in that, and because of different sync profiles and tab manager I can don't be scared that my Firefox bookmarks exported from chrome will be duplicated
- (2024-05-31) TEKn: Incredible In-Browser Bookmark and Tab Syncing
- (2024-05-06) Ryan Smith: Great extension!
- (2024-03-27) XY Li: 卡住了~! Scheduled This profile will be synced soon. We're either waiting for other devices of yours, or other profiles on this device, to finish syncing.
- (2024-02-18) Luis Borges: Functional. Good methodology.
- (2024-02-05) 麻子九筒: This profile will be synced soon. We're either waiting for other devices of yours, or other profiles on this device, to finish syncing. 这个问题这么解决? how to do?
- (2024-02-02) fletch b: UPDATE: I created a dummy Google account and this time it worked. Not sure why it won't work with my real account. Maybe the fault is with Google but this software should not be this difficult to get working. Time will tell if it stays reliable. To be fair to the author, I raised my score and bought the IOS version. Could not get this to work with Google drive. Well, I got it to work 1 time but only if I did not use encryption and installed in root of my drive. Installed/reinstalled multiple times with constant errors each time. It couldn't decrypt the file or would say it is unreadable. Now it's confused and thinks I have multiple profiles and refuses to even try to sync. "This profile will be synced soon. We're either waiting for other devices of yours, or other profiles on this device, to finish syncing." I am going to wait about an hour and see if it gets unconfused, but not sure I trust this software if it's this difficult to install. Any recommendations for something that works? Thank you. UPDATE: It finally let me try to sync and got this message: E034: Remote bookmarks file is unreadable. Did you forget to set an encryption passphrase? Last synchronized: 0 seconds ago How it unreadable if this is a new install? This looks like a caching problem to me.
