  • (2025-07-05) Kazimierz Król: Seems to be working fine, but it messes my tab groups, even with the 'save tab groups' option disabled. Every time I start Brave I find new unnamed tab groups that are copies of my existing tab groups, so the amount of tab groups multiplies every time I start Brave. This is ridiculous.
  • (2025-06-30) Mohammed Zakaria Amara (Zak): thanks for everything, i adore the tracking function, i just want something to add if you can, which is to name the windows not letting them automatically named by the tabs.
  • (2025-06-10) Sparktite (Personal): Would give 0 stars if i could. This worked woderfully for years ad its saved many days of work and would have been lost tabs sessions windows across multiple devices browsers and profiles. It no longer works because you will set it up no matter how, and it will eventually completely stop working and not tell the user in any way shape or form that their last back up was sometimes 3, 6, or 18 months ago meaning the entire effort of setting it up and foolishly believing it was working fine for years so it should contiue to do so has all been a complete detriment which would have been time saved if not for all this bs. If the app is not consistent, if the app is not reliable, it does not work. I can never recommend google or its extensions now due to the frequent non stop updates from google half the time making multitudes of things worse and more work for everyone in exchange for a worse UI/UX because google believe themselves infallible somehow. Just pick another browser preferably something thats not chromium based?(firefox) Ive tried everything and its the same but worse usually short of firefox. Opera gx is more unusable and more resource intensive than chrome which is false advertising on their part. Most the time u look for opera gx support u 80% of the links or more are N/A as its specifically for opera non gx users. I wish you luck and pray you see this to avoid the folleys of man i mean code uh i mean google...
  • (2025-05-22) Mike Savad: i've used this for years, it saved me so many times in the past... but today i went to use it after i screwed up and the last time it had an active session was from 2021, rendering this thing useless.
  • (2025-04-30) Jason Morton: App works great. However, I am wondering the following: Cloud Sync Exclamation Two laptops, two browsers, two Google accounts. Amber exclamation on both, I try to manually sync and it comes back. Like it did nothing. Thoughts?
  • (2025-04-27) max: Awesome extension. Super convenient and useful.
  • (2025-04-25) kauf habmalnefrage: just remove this extension. it does not work. lost all sessions and no more sessions will be saved. And no change for serveral weeks or months. It seems its not maintained or serviced.
  • (2025-04-14) Fernando Bernardini: It is looking good. Some suggestion, put "save only current windows" by default. Most of the time you don't want to save all windows tabs, just the active windows. Even better make the default mode optional on settings. And make a chance to rename a session on the left panel by contextual menu. Pros: you have Drive sync, you have Label; you have undo which none else does in this kind of extensions. Keep going! Some users report loosing all the sessions after extension update. Maybe if you Drive Sync even if you use one computer, that wouldn't happen.
  • (2025-04-07) Granny InSanDiego: This is useful when it works. Right now, the icon, which looks like a floppy disk, does not show up in Chrome and it does not seem to be working despite saying it was updated to version 7.1. I got my tabs back but not with this extension. I will donate when it works again. It is better in Firefox.
  • (2025-04-03) Art Spark (Artem): didnt see any open tabs
  • (2025-03-31) Logan M: Just lost all my sessions randomly
  • (2025-03-20) maddada: Awesome extensions working perfectly on Chrome and Edge for me, thank you very much for these!
  • (2025-03-18) DA CA WA: Generally good, but can lose all of the saved sessions if Chrome eats up all of the available memory. It's happened to me about 5 times. After saving a session, I now manually export it to my HDD as a json file to get around the potential loss of sessions.
  • (2025-02-23) Oguz Kaan Cagatay Kilinc: Incredibly useful extension to save tabs and especially sync tabs between browsers. Some users reported tab groups are not working as expected, but it is not important to me. I need to sync my saved sessions between browsers, and this extension provides this perfectly, thanks to Google sync support. Thanks to the creator of this extension, it is a big-time saver.
  • (2025-02-21) Benjamin Jaspard: This tool is a nihtmare! The worst UI/UX I've ever seen! 🤮
  • (2025-01-27) Kareem Walid: Been using it for years, never had an issue until recently with the tab groups updates, groups will be restored and have to be loaded to be preserved, if I left them in the state where they're still only recovered by the extension and close the window, if I open them again, they will be all new tabs.
  • (2025-01-20) nathan tuvey: It's pretty good except doesn't really do what I need it to do, which is reload groups. It does reload them but they become different groups and loose their labels.
  • (2025-01-16) Daria Leichak: This is not the first time all sessions have disappeared - it's so annoying!
  • (2025-01-10) Webafford Team: There seems to be some conflict happening with Chrome Tab Groups, duplicate groups getting created and lost tab url reference from group on relaunch, also in history in Chrome, all history is hard tied to Tab Session Manager, so if I disable extension that history is lost, it would seem that history should not store the tab session manager reference but the true source reference. There's a lot going on here with Chrome Tab Groups and Tab Sessions Manager is needed, but will it really be able to play well with this newer Chrome feature tab groups, right now big question mark and probably a lot of work for you guys to debug it. I guess I may have to do without Tab Session Manager until it gets resolved, the benefits of Chrome Tab Groups is huge in work management.
  • (2025-01-01) Steve J: Occasionally will lose all sessions and you end up with a save from months ago. How is this happening again even years later? Is there no prevention?
  • (2024-12-25) Nguyễn Ngọc Sơn: Nice!
  • (2024-12-24) Rudranil Ghosh: Save Tab group is not working in edge even with Save Tab Groups for Tab Session Manager extension installed
  • (2024-12-15) Marcello C. Valentino: This extension can lose the saved sessions unpredictably as I've lost about 5 sessions, just be cautious if you were to use it. It's just sad how good this extension really is, like you can name the sessions, open a session with lazy loading where only opened tabs will be loaded, and also it has convenient and straightforward interface, but the core functionality to store sessions itself is broken, that some, if not all, data may corrupt.
  • (2024-12-05) John Hamilton: it can lose all your sessions at any time
  • (2024-12-02) Dan Seller: Ive been using this for years thank you! Never had a problem with the addon. Suspend option thanks.
  • (2024-11-28) Alexander Merkulov: Extension may break with loss of all data at any moment. Extension may lose some of the saved sessions at any moment.
  • (2024-11-27) Cagdar Cakir: saved me many times, cant thank this extension enough, i had over a 1000 tabs what i would save for later and when my browser crasht or lost unexpected error, this extension is incredible saved automaticly all my tabs en just restore in order. i am very very happy with this extension. thank you TAB SESSION MANAGER.
  • (2024-11-25) Wolf: It seems to work....until... When I go to open a saved session. It launches new tab groups- copies- of the groups I saved- with all their tabs. IT RECREATES TAB GROUPS WITH EMPTY NAMES WHEN LAUNCHING SAVED SESSION? Is there a setting that turns this off?
  • (2024-11-20) Guy De Flander: THIS EXTENSION IS BROKEN AND IS NOT BEING FIXED CRUCIAL BUG: Autosave session stopped workingn in early June https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/issues/1384 Auto saves session stops when limit is reach instead of overwriting old ones https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/issues/1367
  • (2024-11-19) Timmy: This is exactly the tool I've been looking for, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be compatible with Arc. When trying to open a session, only one tab opens, and it doesn't even show that tab in the sidebar, everything just looks kinda broken. This is likely to be blamed on Arc, but it would be fantastic if you could make it work. Thanks!
  • (2024-11-05) D. Who: Tab session manager - it remembers all past tabs opened - automatically, even those tabs that are lost after windows crashed the browser !! I like it so much I donated to the developers
  • (2024-11-02) The_Dark_Jumper: First impression: This is what Session Buddy wishes it was. Open Source, Light/Dark Theme, intuitive to use, highly configurable. Fantastic work!
  • (2024-11-01) Maverynthia Crowinthas: It's does it's job mostly but sometimes I get: iaiomicjabeggjcfkbimgmglanimpnae is blocked This page has been blocked by Chrome ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT When it tries to bring back the tabs. Not certain this can be fixed or worked around because Chrome.
  • (2024-11-01) Bernd Voglmeier: Strongly needs a function to delete duplicates, as well as a combine function which combines links from specific domans, when you have hundreds of saved websites...!
  • (2024-10-26) Scott Pierobon: Duplicates pinned tabs ad-nauseum with each reopen of chrome. Also duplicates windows with pinned tabs. Made a mess of my workspace within two uses.
  • (2024-10-03) Allen Mukhin: I see a lot of negative feedback and even some of people I know had a negative experience, but this is my favourite extension - been using it on Windowos for over a year and now for almost 2 years on Mac, Chrome browser on both platforms. The favourite feature (besides saving and re-loading :) tabs) is lazy-loading and tab auto-unload based on timer. Considerably saves memory be sure to try it out if you hadn't! NB! If syncing to Google Drive stopped working - go to extension's settings, sign-out from gmail address and sign-in back again, then it will resume remote sessions backup. Also used this feature to sync between browsers (that's a built-in feature now).
  • (2024-10-03) Bare Metal Gamer: Please don't use it , I lost all my saved tab sessions just by doing nothing than clicking the icon , it said extension may be corrupted , clicked on repair and nothing was recovered, lost EVERYTHING! stay out of this cr*p!
  • (2024-10-01) Ahmed Seoudi: Good, but i'd like it to auto sync when i save sessions manually. UPDATE: Thx for the automatic syncing, but it doesn't work when the session is saved in chrome. UPDATE: Turns out the config was somewhat and i fixed it. the auto syncing starts after a few seconds after it though. but here is my five stars anyway. UPDATE: The syncing no longer works on this profile for some reason, but works on another.

  • (2024-10-01) A A: I installed your Save Tab Groups extension but it's not showing tab groups. In Edge, I also used Tab Session Manager but it's very buggy.
  • (2024-09-06) Johanna vR Bakker-van Rheenen: Hello! there is new little, may be little, trouble: when saving, there is no refresh at the right part of Your Gui...it is blank, empty, white; and left part isn´t scrolled to last active saved session; and: every time I opened my browser, the Gui listed the new single tab at left at saved sessions.... well, I use Your extension at several browser and since 3-4 month this behavior is suddenly new.... well, I prefer Your session manager absolutley first and only one! please, support this! ThankYou!
  • (2024-08-21) Dean: There does not appear to be a way to edit Sessions in the Session List. For example, I would like to manually or alphabetically reorder Windows that appear in the Session list. I am ultimately looking for an easy way to choose which Chrome windows are in a session and then be able to tap one button to open all of those windows where they were last opened by preserving monitor location and window size.
  • (2024-08-19) Ifer30: Usually works decently. If you have a lot of of windows or tabs you have to be very careful loading things slowly and gradually so it doesn't crash. Lazy loading + favicon compression can be a pain since you can't see which tabs you need to load from the favicon. Currently having an issue where the saved sessions are not showing in the loading tab, so I can't open them, even when importing sessions from file.
  • (2024-08-18) Phantom Forces Gamer: Tested it and it worked, unlike session buddy it did not load all the tabs at once, even though I was told session buddy would not do that, but this one didn't. Though I don't know if it's safe so when transferring a session make sure you are logged out of every site and removed your passwords from your browser's password manager only if you're moving sessions from one browser to another. In my case it's Brave to Edge.
  • (2024-08-06) Issachar Lee (RGB 山洞原人的玩物): NOT RECOMMENDED. Using it for a while then suddenly all sessions are deleted after a normal computer reboot. Save Session function doesn't work at all, no response, nothing is export or saved.
  • (2024-07-25) Abdul Samad: It's crashing the browser when opening previous sessions on opera.
  • (2024-07-22) tushar potdar: Export session as Json is not working when I try to 'save all sessions to the computer' there is no respose , do nothing.
  • (2024-07-17) Gábor Klement: This is the most usable session manager on the market. If you use a browser with a normal sidebar (Sidekick, Vivaldi...), it can easily replace the default session managers. Although: - how to change the language to English? - ability to make folders would be very useful
  • (2024-07-12) Jazzy S: Autosave no longer seems to work
  • (2024-07-06) Serhii Zaluts'kyi: It doesn't open browser pages after restoration. You need to open every tab manually. Do not install it.
