Backup your Google Keep™ notes: export your ideas and store them locally for your peace of mind.
Backup your Google Keep™ notes on a regular basis: for your increased peace of mind.
For most of your data stored with Google™ services there is Google Takeout™.
Unfortunately, this function is still lacking when it comes to Google Keep™.
As a heavy user of this app (on both, Android™ and the web) I need a sustainable
solution - copy and paste from a HTML page isn't really sufficient.
After installing KeepUp log into your Google™ Account, visit the Keep web
application and klick the new download icon. After your data is processed
you get a serialized JSON object - including your images and voice memos as
dataURIs.
Copy it to the clipboard, save it as text file and "do what you want with your data"™:
archive it, import it somewhere else or build your own app.
Have fun!

- (2022-03-08) David Evans: Sorry, doesn't seem to work. Wish it did. It just spins and seemingly does nothing.
- (2021-09-10) Josh (Dragon3025): When clicking on it, it just gives a loading sign that never goes away. For those who still want to backup their notes, there's Google Takeout. It'll export your notes in the form of json files; it's not perfect, but at least it's something.
