- Exactly what youtube needs to be a quality platform again. Similar to Facebook and Instagram the platform and algorithms are completely made to improve 'engagement' which in corporate speak means meaningless doomscrolling through rage baiting content as this gets the most emotions. Having disabled both this and Youtube search history I now only get the direct content that I want to look at and no more meaningles drama and politics. Thanks team!

- I'll be totally honest with you, this program is really helpfull. I am a student and i work on my laptop a lot. But i often get distracted by youtube when i search something up. I tried programs to block youtube permanently but i couldn't do research now. But with Unhook, you can still do your research without distraction. Thanks a lot to the devs who made this extension.

- A great tool! I use it to block recommendations, comments, and the home page feed on YouTube. This makes YouTube far more pleasant and less distracting. I only have two critiques. The Hide End Scene settings do not work, and sometimes videos still Autoplay. However, I am really enjoying Unhook so far. Great job!

- Causing extensive blinking on embedded YouTube videos, which also cannot be reproduced. This is very annoying and may even induce a seizure on people with epilepsy. Please fix this!

- peak just a little easy to turn off adding like an anoying little mini game to turn it off so you really have to think about your decision would go a long way or like a one minute timer.

- Thanks so much for this extension. I originally installed it to help manage what my child watches, and I’ve found it incredibly useful for reducing my own distractions as well. It’s already excellent, but there’s one feature that would be greatly appreciated: password protection. This would allow parents to lock the settings—such as hiding certain YouTube features—and prevent my young kid from changing them. Thanks again!

- Needs to be updated for the latest YouTube layout changes. The "Hide Explore, Trending" option hides the "You" section but does not hide the "Explore" section. Was working great until it fell behind YouTube's changes.

- Turns Youtube into a helpful search engine rather than a blackhole of distractions and thumbnails. I only see what I search for and I only watch what I've searched! It saves so much time from falling down a pit of distractions and allows me to enjoy the site without feeling manipulated by it. I wish I knew about this extension a long time ago. Feel silly for only searching for something like this recently.

- I'd give it higher, except for . . . : Youtube places all sorts of junk "recommended" videos into a created Playlist. This add-on seems to give no way to remove that. So, it's good -- but, not as good I'd like it to be.
