- First seconds and it actually works, a lot of settings, simply is what you need to make youtube less of a algorithm retainer slop. Feels like i got a Youtube Deluxe. Update: I forgot to mention I use Brave, and it works just fine, probably works on all chrome based browsers as well!

- Works for all the things mentioned in the description. But it does not apply to the "Most relevant" section of the subscriptions page, which is a section where the algorithm still feeds videos into the only feed we still have control over

- Great extension, thanks a lot. I'm hiding all recommendations and all Shorts and it's making YouTube so much better. Might be more complicated, but would it be possible to get rid of the "Most relevant" subscription videos and the "Important" notifications and instead just merge everything to show all feeds in strictly chronological order?

- It was great but it is dated now and some options doesnt work properly. For example it is not hiding shorts in search results. It also makes videos on websites stutter or totally doesnt work. Sadly it was not updated for 2 years and a lot has changed. I change review if it will be updated but starting to look for alternatives. Shame - really great extension if it would work...

- Pros: You won't get distracted from the random popular videos that are being fed to you besides your subscriptions. Cons: It may affect a few passionate small content creators from getting into a few users' algorithms/recommendations, (but I don't know if there are still content creators who only make content for fun than making it for Money, popularity and views) P.S Thanks to Pewdiepie for recommending this. I extremely recommend this to anyone!

- Very good extension. It is pretty simple, straight to the point, and effective. However, since the youtube UI and algorythm is changing, I was wondering if we could get some more updates. It seems that the last update for unhook was on September 9, 2024. I would love to see a feature that hides shorts on the search pages. Other than that, 5 stars
