`ili: A toolbox for molecular mapping in 2D and 3D. Map your spatial molecular data onto photos, geographical maps, and 3D surfaces.
`ili helps put molecular data into spatial context by visualizing it overlaid onto a photo of sampling sites, a geographical map, or 3D surface. If you have data collected from different sites which either has different variables or was collected in a time course then `ili is a tool of choice for interactive visualization of maps corresponding to the variables or time points.
Examples and documentation are available at our website. (See the link below)
`ili is developed by the Alexandrov team at European Molecular Biology Laboratory. It is already used for studying metabolites and microbes on the human skin, molecules on wings of a bee, natural products of cyanobacteria from the whole world, and metabolites on leaves of a tomato plant from a backyard. `ili is open-source so get in touch if you have questions!

- (2017-09-01) Theodore Alexandrov: This extension was previously published as an Chrome app, but with shutting the apps part of the Chrome Web Store, we re-published it as an extension. Please enjoy using it, create, visualize and share your molecular maps, and rate it if you like it!
