• (2015-02-05) Anvil Pants: There is no user-notifying check for API service being down. Today (Feb 5 2015, CST) https://api.pinboard.in/v1/ is down, returns no failure (it is connection time out error). Extension behavior hides this fact. A user with API key already configured will not immediately notice that new bookmarks aren't being received. A new user will get generic login failure error, which looks like the API key is wrong; not revealing that API server is simply not answering. User FYI: This is also an oversight in Pinboard Plus (other author, likely paired with this) as of today.
• (2015-01-27) Michael Khaimov: Nice idea, but browser started to freeze sometimes when i've installed the extension. Furthermore extension appears to be broken from time to time when i'm using it and gets a label that it's broken in a browser's "extensions" page.

  I installed extension and everything worked like a charm. Then I added some bookmarks to Pinboard but couldn't access them neither via OmniBox nor via Search. I went to options and clicked button "Update posts", got "success" message but still unable to access new items. Migemo is disabled. Mac OS X, Google Chrome Version 35.0.1916.153. Thank you, Dima.

  The pattern match would not allow my API token. My token is 20 lowercase characters and digits starting with a char, ending with a digit. I had to remove the pattern attribute from the form to submit it.

  My Pinboard username contains '.' character. It's not error for Pinboard, but token with '.' in username makes error message in your extension. Fix it please.
