It was functioning perfectly fine yesterday, but after a recent system update, I’ve been unable to open or use the application. Here are the steps I’ve already tried: Re-downloaded and reinstalled Lightshot Ran the application as an administrator Toggled off “Use Print Screen key to open screen capture” Ended all Lightshot-related tasks from the task manager Despite these efforts, the application still doesn’t launch. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Please let me know if there are any additional troubleshooting steps or logs I can provide.

• (2024-08-09) Andrew: The photo gallery feature has been broken for who knows how long now, there's no possible way to even login anymore. The Google sign-in throws you in a redirect loop and never actually logs you in while the Facebook sign-in straight up tells you that you can't because the site isn't setup properly. I have screenshots dated all the way back to at least 2012 in my gallery that are just completely gone now. I redownloaded just to try and save all of those screenshots to my device but I fear it's too late :/ Pretty sure the developer just completely gave up on maintaining this program because my emails have gone unanswered for months now. Just find another program if you had planned on using their gallery feature since it doesn't even work. Even if they fix it, I'm never using this again due to the fear of waking up one day and suddenly losing years of screenshots/memories.

In fact, this app would be infinitely more useful if the developers could create a single click feature as an option to take a screenshot sized to an entire active browser window frame. The user can then do the editing later.
