Tends to be in-your-face when you don't it to be—showing a little corner overlay on non-content pages such as my bank website—but does not load quickly when you actually want to highlight something. Also is more geared towards sharing rather than personal organization of your highlights. I have migrated to "Weava" which so far seems to fit my use-case much better.

• (2019-10-05) Spencer Mathews: Great design, and very useful when it works, but after using extensively I can no longer tolerate its common failures. In many cases it appears to highlight text but even on immediate page reload the highlight does not appear. Hypothesis tends to work fine in these cases, and it also doesn't wreck the formatting of tables the way Highly does.

A few recommendations out of my months of usage - 1. Copy to clipboard option on highlights : Once I highlight something, apart from the three options available on the highlight, having a copy to clipboard option might also be useful because sometimes I do want to copy something to another area and also highlight it . But for now i have to exit out of the highlight mode and then copy the text to my clipboard. 2. Add comments on highlights : A more time consuming feature which i think might be helpful for other people too is to be able to add your separate comments on the highlight which could help this plugin become a flexible online notebook.

  Good afternoon, I'm navid abasi and recently installed highly highlighter extension on my google chrome and brave browsers and I have no idea why it is not working when I hit the 1(!) key on the keyboard, I even tried holding shift to change 1 to ! and same result while at the tutorial it has not problem changing my mouse to a highlighter is there any chance I could fix it?

  Hi, First of all, I want to say thank you for having created highly in the first place. It takes a genius(es) to build and maintain such a platform that impacted the lives of so many human beings. Thank you! Considering that the platform is no longer accessible, I'd really appreciate it if you would hook me up 😀 with my highlights preferably as a text file. It would go a long way in helping me move forward as a creator.
