Description from store Pavlok extension syncs your Pavlok module to your browser. You can define a blacklist of sites you're trying to control visiting (it'll be a shocking experience to enter them again!) and revoke them when you don't need the stimuli anymore. You can also set a limit for how many tabs you'll have enabled at a given time. It will let you know when you're approaching the limit and when you have crossed it! You can even tap into your productivity superpowers with the help of the pomodoros and rescuetime integration! Pro-tip: don't try to cross tab limits AND visit a blacklisted page at the same time. You have been warned =P New additions (0.9.812) - Updates stimuli URL (0.9.811) - Bug fixes (0.9.810) - Fixes syntax error - Fixes pomodoro resets upon day change (0.9.809) - Fixes typo (0.9.808) - Removes OAuth due to Chrome compatibility issues - Adds create account link (0.9.806) - Enabled Clear Completed Tasks button (0.9.805) - Added OAuth2 as default sign in method (0.9.801) - Fixed a problem with LockMe during pomodoros, where it wouldn't run. (0.9.8) - Fixed a problem with Todoist. Sign out will work, regardless of their server response. (0.9.7) - Fixed a bug where closing the window while on a blacklisted page would still count as being on blacklisted page. (0.9.6) - Fixed LockMe not firing - Fixed welcome window from the notification not signing in - Fixed Enter to work on login screens (0.9.5) - Fixed extension breaking on start up (0.9.4) - Extension became optionally less noisy for developers --- Verbose requires localStorage.verbose = JSON.stringify(true) --- Injected script won't use the console.log anymore (0.9.2) - Import your settings if you upgrade from an unofficial extension, as some people were using the test extension, instead of the main one ... bug fixes (0.8.3) - Black List now has "allowance" systems, so that you can say "let me get on Facebook for 30 minutes today", but be warned about if your time there exceeds the allowance (0.8.2) - ToDo list opens by default on popup start - Messing with other tabs won't close Todo tab - Manage sites renamed to Blacklist - Tab Numbers renamed to Set Max Tabs - Stimuli controls renamed to Remote Control (0.8.1) - Fixed Rescue Time frequency being reseted every time options were opened - Fixed Rescue Time bug that prevented it from working for every user (0.8.0) GENERAL - Removed bug that was crashing blacklists, autozapper, sticking the blackbox counter on every page and making the page count. (0.7.10.7) GENERAL - No stimuli is sent unless more than half a second passed since the last one. This avoids stimuli trumping and getting lost (0.7.10.6) TODOIST - Import function uses the original Todo Backend functions. This means that tasks that were just imported won't be sent right away BACK to todoist, as if the change had ocurred via Pavlok's interface. This avoid the ocasional task duplication which happened when checking tasks on todoist. ToDo - Prompt for Pomo duration now uses the designed duration! (0.7.10.5) GENERAL - Sign in / Sign out are made in the popup window - Unlogged window displays Email and Password fields and a submit button - No more crashes when doing sign in and sign out - User input validation before accessing the server - Listeners for new token TODO - Blacklist for daily dasks corrected (it was not saved consistently) - Proper tomato icon on regular tasks - Clicking on tomatoes will ask prompt user for how long to take the pomo TODOIST - New substitute method for creating, updating and deleting todo tasks if active - If todoist is active, it will sync complete, uncomplete, create and deleting of tasks from Pavlok to TODOIST - Todoist task importing check for already imported tasks, avoiding duplication of tasks and commands - Namespace adjustments (helpers, frontend, backend) for consistency - Background listeners for task changes - Sync every 30s - Sends Pavlok updates as soon as they are made - There's a known bug when checking a task on Todoist creates duplicated tasks on Pavlok and Todoist. Will be resolved soon (0.7.10.4) GENERAL - Time until zap option returned under advaced options - Checks for blacklisted sites now use the pomodoro and tasks directly - Checks for blacklisted sites use a simpler and more accurate method for getting the url TODO ENGINES - ToDo is encapsulated in variables (testTodo, pavPomo) - Edits are done via update function - ToDo functions were divided in backend (database), frontend (calls and interfaces) and helper (budlers and utilities) for each variable -- Calls for pomodoro now use the pavPomo.helpers.lastPomo() function - All tasks are now standardized, so there's a single database for regular and daily tasks -- scaffold function is the core standardizer - Migration functions (from old two-database models to new single-database model) PRESENTATION - Line creation for tasks is done completely via javascript ...................... POMODOROS ENGINES - All pomodoro timers are executed in the background page - unbindCounter function avoid the recurrence of stimuli after pomodoro end. - All pomodoros are stored in a allPomos variable - Pomodoros are related, but separed from tasks - toInterfaces helper function also sends messages to content scripts - endPomo fixes audio - Default duration changed to 25 minutes PRESENTATION - Button listeners moved to background - Button effectors moved to background ...................... TODOIST INTEGRATION - Encapsulated under todoist variable - Core functions (getToken, removeToken, getTasks, toPavlok, fromPavlok) defined - Helper functions (toggle between logged and unlogged states) - Basic implementation on Options page (sign in, sign out, import tasks button) - Listners on options and background to make it happen - No export function yet ...................... COACH TOOL - Check for on/off on options page - Basic implementation - Works on the background (even if no Chrome windows are open!) - Uses both daily and regular tasks - Coach stores it's own timeouts and clear only them - Activating pomodoro via the coach creates a new pomo and messages both the background and the interfaces with the new Pomo and updatePomo action (0.7.10.3) - pomo escapes - Correct server configuration (0.7.10.2) - New audio for binaural - Binaural buttons working normally - Binaural sounds ended when pomo ends - oauth done via background (0.7.10.1) - Fixed broken clock on windows for first install - Todoist integration moved to background - Todoist has no more default token - Todoist getToken and removeToken functions act properly - Todoist removed automatic oauth on options page (0.7.10) - Mouse changes to clickable when hovering over binaural controllers - Assistant for tasks - Todoist integrations - Lots of backend enhancements (0.7.9) - Fixed Rescue stimuli can be selected and are saved - Check and fix for users URLs on black and whitelists without other warnings - Fixed sign out. It will require login again after doing it (0.7.8) - Fix to-do list overlay problem (0.7.7) - Check for bad items on whitelist (0.7.6) - Stimuli intensity defined in the options page now returns proper values, not the last one - Separate way to convert beep + vibration and stimuli ranges from % to raw (0.7.5) - Fixed the server setting (0.7.4) - Fixed test beep button - Clear cookies skeleton (function exists, but support is limited to Chrome's dev version) - New Black and White List mechanism You can now block parts of sites You can also whitelist other parts of sites No more www. on the whitelists - Lightening implementation Unnecessary console calls removed Checks for acitivity reduced 8 fold Checks for pomoFocus reduced 5 fold - Stop checking tab numbers when signed out (0.7.3) - PDF don't get injected scripts, so PDF files won't have trouble opening anymore - Update notifications only when settings are actually updated, not when Popup or options page are opened - MUCH lighter implementation. --- Blacklist is checked when tab changes and after a zap (so it can be made continuous while people are still over blacklisted pages) --- Badge updates only when tab numbers or login changes ----- Badge image only changes when user signs in or out. Only text updates otherwise

  • (2022-01-26) Joshua Herr: So far it seems to be pretty effective. After accidentally zapping myself due to the default settings on tabs (I would highly recommend changing the default to any number of tabs, so that users explicitly have to opt in to the tab option), it seems to work well. I haven't fully tested all of the functionality yet but the fear of getting zapped if I wander to social media has been highly effective.
  • (2021-10-26) shimmy: love this extension when it works. problem is it doesnt always work! with my pavlok 3 connected to rescue time, i get notifications on my phone app that a zap or beep is coming, but it never does. it'll vibrate, sometimes, but managing my time avoiding unproductive apps or getting a snap when i'm on blacklisted sites only work if the pavlok does what it's supposed to. only the notification shows up. even if the zap and beep work just fine on the phone app. :( i want this to work so bad!!!!
  • (2021-09-07) iskander umidov: Horrible design + all settings are set to defaults that will go into effect immediately after installing the extension, which will start zapping you right away
  • (2021-09-01) Marichka (Ma-REECH-ka): Love the idea, just wish my Pavlok 3 actually worked. The only reason I got it was for the zap feature, but both the device I ordered and the replacement did not work...I'd push the button and only get a short vibrate, no zap at all. Shame - really would have liked it to work as well for me as for others, but not to be. Oh well.
  • (2021-08-04) C L: It works, and it's the only thing that does what it does
  • (2021-04-30) Evan Dornbusch: Incredible idea and functionality works.
  • (2021-03-30) Kamil K: lol things worked 5 years ago....
  • (2020-12-04) Ian Mayman: After some problems and ignored emails to customer service, I received a reply from Luke at Pavlok and now have full use of the extension. As with all apps, there are features I would still like to see that could significantly improve the experience (which along with the initially ignored emails is why it's not five stars), but the existing features such as limiting browser tabs works well. Tip: if you're having problems, press down on the lightning bolt on the device itself for at least ten seconds for a sustained vibration to do a factory reset. That appears to be what fixed it for me.
  • (2020-10-08) Jesús Rosario Hernández: There is a good purpose of this app, and I use it consistently. However, it does not work with the zapping and constantly disconnect from the device.
  • (2020-03-12) محمد الحباني: كفو حلوين
  • (2019-12-30) Victoria Audor: I'm having a trouble with the "Dailies" To-do Pomodoros. I set up a random Daily in a 10 minutos Pomodoro, but when I enter in "Pomodoro Mode", it's a 25 minutes Pomodoro. And it's the same iif I set up a 35 minutes Pomodoro, it always seem to be a 25.
  • (2019-07-01) Brian desu: Blacklisted sites don't work. I need it to zap me and it doesn't.
  • (2019-04-25) Thomas Kwa: Issue with sign-in has been fixed. The Todoist integration doesn't seem to work, though.
  • (2019-04-23) Paul Singleton: Can't sign in (sign in button doesn't work)
  • (2019-04-12) Joseph Vijay Ingam: When it works it works. Then suddenly it stopped working with the latest update. Not sure why. Their support does not respond.
  • (2019-04-12) kellen lee: why i can't sign in my account???????
  • (2018-12-04) Daniel Ayers: While the extension is nice, the product (Pavlok 2) is never working and always buggy. Can't give a good rating for an extension for a product that rarely works and firmware updates often create more bugs.
  • (2018-02-14) Maxi Peñaranda: it's not working !! Fix it !!!!!!!!!
  • (2017-11-26) Jessie Ma: how to sign up???
  • (2017-08-17) Pavlok, Rescuetime과 연계성이 굉장합니다. Todoist 통합은 아직 발전이 필요합니다.
  • (2017-08-11) Warren Rawlings: What it's trying to do makes sense and the implementation is ok. The challenge is getting people to self check. I have to zap myself when I swear to help break the habit, when I thought it would be listening to me and would automagically zap me when I swear. We need more self monitoring things to get this right.
  • (2017-08-08) Patrick Crooker: I only just started working with it but, so far, it's exactly what I hoped it would be. The zaps definitely motivate you, but aren't SCARY or especially painful. They give you a burst of adrenaline, which makes it sooo much easier to stop what you're doing. The Chrome Productivity Extension is pretty great too. It zaps me in intervals when I visit blacklisted sites, but only during the times I specify. It also allows me to connect to outside sources, like ToDoist and RescueTime, so I can set goals for myself and track my progress. All and all, I'm very optimistic and happy with my purchase. Thank you!
  • (2017-04-26) Viki Dalbo: Only installed it a couple hours ago, and I already completed 7 to do items that I had be putting off for week. <3 it!
  • (2017-04-16) Super MVP - great match of packing value props into product and matching what jobs im trying to solve, gain im trying to get and pain I'm trying to get rid of!
  • (2017-02-18) 20岁了还没有去过星巴克: 有用,我让远离youtube
  • (2016-12-10) Cecilia Pineda: Still working on using the auto-zapper, but the other functions help me keep more focused on my tasks and habits, the good and the bad.
  • (2016-10-29) Alan Kay: This is the business. Love the todo list feature. Having this and using it is akin to arriving into the promised land. This is Pavlok 2.0.
  • (2016-10-08) Dan Nuffer: It's super useful. My only gripe is that the settings don't sync between computers.
  • (2016-09-29) Martin: It's getting better!! Finally a browser plugin.
  • (2016-09-20) Sondre Ileby: The newest version is a product finaly compleated with all of the amazing features promized from the beginning. An efficent way to get out of lazy zone and start working
  • (2016-08-22) Jerry T. Joseph: Quite possible the greatest productivity integration that I've found on my journey, a MUST HAVE for every Pavlok user #CleverTechnology #DivineFriendship
  • (2016-07-12) Rob Sutcliffe: When this works it's great. but that is very rare. and so you can't rely on this to cut out your bad habits
  • (2016-07-11) Ahmet Uysal: teşekkürler eliniZe sağlık
  • (2016-07-07) Patrick Brown: Works well - like the advanced features on the Blacklist and the max tabs.
  • (2016-05-26) Nik Edmiidz: Cannot sync/pair with device.
  • (2016-05-19) Steven Lemmens: Seems to work fine. Some bugs here and there but the basic idea is coming along nicely! Love the Rescue Time integration.
