You can also install it manually if you want to be certain that the source code on github is directly what you install. Note, this will NOT automatically update the extension when bugs are fixed and features are added. In your terminal, `cd` to the folder you want to clone it to, and run `git clone https://github.com/babyman/quick-tabs-chrome-extension`. Then in Google Chrome, click `Window - Extensions`, click the checkbox called "Developer Mode", and click the "Load unpacked extension" button. Navigate to the cloned project, and select the "quick-tabs" folder. You now have the plugin loaded as a developer. Again, this will NOT automatically update the extension when bugs are fixed and features are added. # FEEDBACK AND BUGS Please report all your valuable feedback, feature requests and bug reports on the github [issues page](http://github.com/babyman/quick-tabs-chrome-extension/issues) for this extension. # RELEASE NOTES 2020.1.18 - bug fix, "when no tabs match" stopped working, fixes #298 2020.1.13 - call .stopPropagation() in click event handlers, refs #295, add debouncing to improve the responsiveness of the UI when entering queries, refs #297 2020.1.8 - refined tab moving options, see 'Only move tabs when switched via the extension popup', fixes #296 2020.1.5 - add support to keep window tabs in MRU order with the 'Move tab to leftmost position on switch' option see #174 2019.12.29 - **Quick Tabs turns 10!**, added new commands '/close', '/merge', '/mute', '/unmute', '/split' and '/reload', '/w' to search tabs in the current window only, also allow specifying the search engine as part of the query (/fuzzy, /fuse, /regex, /subs). • (2020-01-08) Byungjik Roh: Recently active tab moved right most position by itself and it was very annoying. I thought it was new update from Chrome but couldn't find any issue on web. Then I finally found out that Quick Tabs causes this situation. Turn off 'Move tab to rightmost position on switch' on Quick Tabs options. PS. Developer has known this issue and will fix it soon. • (2020-01-06) Hien Nguyen: Simple and useful for ones that constantly have many tabs opened in Chrome.
  • (2019-12-27) Zedoz Australia: It would be good if you had the option not to list separate pages of the same website, ie rather have the option to show each website as one entry
  • (2019-12-20) Tom: Great. Love that the tab search can also include bookmarks and even become a generic google search. Thanks to bAbymAn who has also generously open-sourced it, keeps up with issues, and handles permissions well.
  • (2019-12-16) Jim S: Been using this for several days and absolutely love it. I often have upwards of 50+ tabs open and this has greatly reduced the amount of time I am flipping through tab after tab to find the exact one I am looking for. The real strength is in the fuzzy searches. I use the "<((" to find all of the YouTube tabs that will randomly start playing after a refresh so I can mute/stop them from playing. I sincerely wish I had found this years ago!!!
  • (2019-12-08) Anton Timoshenkov: Удобно и просто
  • (2019-12-07) Anıl Yuvalı: If you would like to search for your open tabs quickly, this is the best extension you can find. Trust me, i tried it all.
  • (2019-11-23) just sayin: Excellent!! Feature request: add support to pin tabs, to keep them near the top of the tabs list, for quick access. These tabs should be highlighted.
  • (2019-11-23) Frank Cantafio: At first I installed it and didn't pay much attention to it, but now I use it! It is extremely valuable to me, because it helps me find the tabs with sound. I seemed to have a ton of open tabs at once. It was very difficult to quickly turn off any tab with sound such as youtube when I didn't need it. Thank You for this!
  • (2019-11-15) Xuân Nguyễn: This App should exist
  • (2019-11-12) Gabe O'Leary: This is probably the most useful and necessary extension I have on Chrome. It saves me so much time and many headaches while navigating around my cluttered browser windows and tabs. :)
  • (2019-10-13) Richard Hoefer: Does anyone know the CSS code to display Quick Tabs in a Dark Mode? I don't know how to create a style, but I see on the OPTIONS page the window to add style code. This seems like a good extension, but I am still trying to sort out this extension from so many other Tab-related extensions I use for different purposes (such as Save Sessions, etc). I marked 3-stars because I have this installed, but I don't really use it because I haven't been able to experiment with all the other Tab extensions I have which do other things, and I'd wish for at most 1-2 extensions total that manage Tab related actions, because it's too hard to remember what each of them do.
  • (2019-10-11) Kristopher Paulsen: This extension is absolutely critical to my workflow. It's fundamentally changed how I organize and structure my bookmarks. As a software developer, being able to fuzzy search in my code, fuzzy search as the OS level, and now fuzzy search at the browser level, has really helped me stay organized (Especially with my level or forgetfulness). If I ever met thisplugins' author in person, I'd buy them beer, maybe even a fancy microbrew or two!
  • (2019-10-10) Bill Byrne: Love it, except when we search and need to put in the letter D. Then... well, it closes the window for some reason! Any thoughts on a fix? It's not a shortcut we programmed in.
  • (2019-10-10) tomasz gogola: just what i was looking for!
  • (2019-10-06) Alan Sheppard: I inadvertently removed it from the extensions settings page while cleaning up those I didn't think I used. The mention of intellij DEA didn't resonate with me. When I went back to normal use of Chrome and noticed the Quick tabs extension missing off the tool bar, I panicked! That says enough for the sake of this review!
  • (2019-10-06) Clemens Ratte-Polle: very fast and simple :) Perhaps also always show a closed tabs list 50%?
  • (2019-10-04) Gábor Kovács: Thank you for your work currently the most usable MRU. Under linux you can edit ~/.config/chromium/Default/Preferences to set the shortcut to Ctrl+Tab The problem with this, that after the popup opens you have to release the ctrl, to switch and hit enter at the end to activate. Could you maybe change the plugin to respect ctrl+tab and ctrl release for switching and activating? That would be "Awesome" :) Thanks!
  • (2019-09-25) Dima Pursanov: Probably the only extension I use everywhere (together with uBlock, certainly)!
  • (2019-09-18) Damian Helme: excellent! my most used extension, wouldn't be without it!
  • (2019-09-10) Vitalii Braslavskyi: Really nice extension. The only problem I have with it so far is that it focuses URL bar and every time I try to pause my music I'm entering white space in front of URL.
  • (2019-09-05) 于天奇: useless one
  • (2019-08-27) Viktor Vad: As an IntelliJ user, this is a perfect match! Thank you!
  • (2019-08-26) Chunde Shi: seenami.com can search many websites simultaneously.
