• (2022-12-28) Pat MySecret: Personally, I find the "PopUp My Bookmarks" extension more useful than this Bookmarks Menu "PopUp My Bookmarks" has a very useful Search function that shows at the top for starters. Bookmarks Menu seems slower, clunkier to maneuver, and doesn't have any features I can find to put it at an advantage to "PopUp My Bookmarks", which has more features..except for visual simplicity perhaps, but that doesn't outweigh the better maneuverability to me.

  I just loaded this extension as a possible way to sort Chrome bookmarks by date, but the search bar as indicated by the pictures you provide. I have similar tools in Firefox (and other extensions in Chrome), so I am very familiar with how extensions work. The Extensions tab says this is loaded, but even toggling it on and off, nothing changes (unlike other extensions where the button disappears and reappears). I am using 87.0.4280.141 on a Mac (last version supported). Thanks.

  While still the best menu for bookmarks, this is partially broken at the moment. Basic functionality works as before (opening the trees), but not all bookmarks are shown. Any past the limit of the popup window are inaccessible. You used to be able to scroll through all bookmarks in a folder, but that ability is gone. I know you are likely working on a solution, so thank you in advance.

  Right now when I hover over a subfolder the folder opens and expands so I can select a bookmark. If I accidentally click on the folder all the bookmarks in the folder open in separate tabs. This is a pain! I then have to either close all the tabs or, sometimes easier, close Chrome and restart it. Please make an option so clicking on a folder icon doesn't open all the bookmarks.

  The list will no longer scroll bast the bottom of the main bookmark menu, even when a subfolder is active. I noticed this at home a couple of days ago. When I restarted the browser at work to update it the same problem manifested. I now have to use the Chrome bookmark menu, which is a pain.

  Hi. I'm using this extension for many years now and it's great but it's one little thing that sometimes drives me crazy.The favicons appear in the list of bookmarks only if you visited that web site before but why do not set all favicons at once when you logged into google account.Because it's a bit annoying if i clear the browser's cache they all go away and you have to start all over again one by one to appear on the list of bookmarks.And if you have lot's of bookmarks(like me) its easier to find the page by favicon's logo which i remember.For example like FESS google extension for Firefox.

  Hello, I just discovered your plugin while becoming frustrated with the Bookmarks.google.com website. Its extremely convenient! Would it be possible to add a search function? For example, when using Bookmarks.Google.com I'd type "resume" and would hope to find all "Tags"/"Folders" with resume in it, as well as all individual Bookmarks who's titles and descriptions might have the word in it. Unfortunately this has been broken in Bookmarks.Google.com's web page for some time - I have both bookmarks AND a resume tag. When I search for the word Google doesn't find anything. A way to do an in-plugin word or phrase search would be amazing. Thank you for your time and efforts!
