With this extension, you can send HTML links to the Microsoft's Edge browser with a single click. The extension adds a browser action button which when called, sends the URL of the active tab to the Edge browser. You can optionally ask the extension to close the tab when the transfer of the URL completes. Note that similar to any other extensions of the same kind. this one needs a native wrapper to communicate with the external browser. The extension also adds a context menu item for links so that you can send links to the Edge browser with a right-click. To improve your productivity, the extension also includes an option to send links with a left-click. You need to configure the extension from the options page so that it knows which hostnames need to be opened in the Edge browser.
Since the extension uses a native client, it can open a new instance if no open Edge windows are detected. Also, it has a built-in tool to find the Edge executable for you.
The extension also adds a few context menu items to the browser action button to send all tabs in the current window or all tabs from all windows to the Edge browser.

- Good, works well, and as expected. Saldy, I couldn't find any option to remove it from the context menu, and this is a deal breaker for me, because I don't like to overload it, as it already has enought stuff in it… So I'll go with another addon.

- Cumple con lo que dice, aunque hay que descargar y hacer algunos procesos adicionales, pero son sencillos y faciles de seguir. It works fine, but you need to download and make additional processes for make it works, but are simple and easy to follow.

- Love this extension but some additional scripts to install make me nervous. Also, correct the icon/logo since it is the old Edge logo, doesn't look good. Works great for me. But 3 star for 2 reasons: 1. It requires some scripting and may feel shady, 2. when I click the button to send in the Edge browser, a new Edge window pops up which is annoying. There should have an option to send it either as a background new window/tab or as popped up new window in the foreground. Please update it.

- It isn't worth downloading whole Node.JS for this. If you were to write some native client that was really native, it wouldn't be a problem

- The functionality is very great. I prefer to use the "crome" browser because of the gorgeous extensions. Otherwise I love the reading mode in the"edge" browser. Now I can combine the advantages of both browser by one click !!!

- It works great, when you configure it correctly, to run the Edge browser. Straight out of the box, Open in MS Edge wouldn't actually open Edge. When I found the location of the Edge .exe file, I found I couldn't simply run that .exe file, to get the Edge browser to run. I found I had to download the Launch Edge Browser utility, from http://www.emmet-gray.com/Articles/EdgeLaunch.html and, once that's installed, configure Open in MS Edge to run that utility's executable, instead of running the Edge executable.
