Copies the name of a link (anchor text) to the clipboard.

Developed exclusively for Chrome. This extension is not guaranteed to work with other Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, Opera, etc... Please don't report issues or down-vote this extension in the Chrome Web Store if you're using a non-Chrome browser.
Makes it very easy to copy the visible text of a link (also called link name or anchor text).
Just right click on a link & choose "Copy Link Name".
Note: Like all Content Script extensions, this extension is automatically disabled in the Chrome Extensions site. So please test it on a normal web page.

- This extension does not work for me at all. Every time I select it then paste, it pastes whatever I copied previous to this instead. I have not found a dingle link it works on.

- Did not work for me on many links. Does work some of the time. From what I can tell: If there is anything other than plain text in the link tage (example a span for formatting) it won't work. javascript has a way to get just the text, but doesn't look like they used it since it simply fails to copy anything.

- Does the job. Was getting fed up with the way that links either opened or a load more text got copied in as I wiped the mouse over to select a link's text. This add-in works nicely. Beware that it only begins to work after you have closed and reopened Chrome, so don't give up too soon!

- Funziona perfettamente per la funzione che ricercavo, ne ho provate tantissime, ho sfogliato per qualche ora il playstore, mi stavo arrendendo e alla fine sono riuscito a trovarti. Presente nel menù contestuale destro del mouse l'opzione per copiare, semplicemente, solo il titolo di un link in clipboard (senza markdown e senza dover selezionare il testo). Ottima visibilità dell'icona nella barra dell'estensioni, soprattutto per chi, come me, utilizza temi scuri. I tried so many, spent hours browsing the Play Store, and was about to give up when I found you, but it works exactly for the purpose I was seeking for. There is an option to just copy a link's title to the clipboard (without using markdown or selecting the text) in the right mouse context menu. Excellent icon visibility in the extensions bar, especially for dark theme users like me.

- There's some slightly odd behavior that might be good to know, but might make sense/probably isn't worth trying to fix. I tried to copy some CJK text from a link title in a video tile and it copied the text below the result [possibly due to that also being part of the link] putting it under the other text% % Search query: "bad apple 伴奏" % Tile text [multiple lines, this was what ended up being copied]: % > Bad Apple!!伴奏 % > 哔哩哔哩 % URL: [bilibili link]/video/av83298206/ With a search result, it puts the other stuff from above the link _below_ the link text%% %% URL: [zhidao.baidu link]/question/146304598.html %% Original text: "求东方bad apple无损原曲+伴奏_百度知道" %% > zhidao.baidu.com › question %% > 求东方bad apple无损原曲+伴奏_百度知道 %% Copied text [multiple lines]: %% > 求东方bad apple无损原曲+伴奏_百度知道 %% > zhidao.baidu.com › question [note the flip]
