(if i selected the text "2020/05/10" today, it would create an event for today with a link to the page where i selected the text.) this extension has no date or time recognition, making it completely useless.

• (2019-04-29) Assaf Weinberg: This used to work very well, but the new version doesn't work at all. All it does is open an empty "add to calendar" event page which I have to fill by myself.
• (2019-03-26) Doesn't work. Just opens a page to add an event to google calendar with the current date and time. Doesn't read anything from the selected text like date, time or even any of the text. What's the point? I still have to do all the work of creating the event, this doesn't help at all.

• (2017-09-21) Campbell Pryor: Hasn't worked for me once. Even just selecting basic text like "Wed 27 September, 1pm" doesn't get recognised (instead it populated the current date and time). At best it seems like a somewhat easy way to open the calendar app when you need it.
• (2017-09-15) Jeebus: I tried a linkedin event, it put it on today's date. I tried selecting the text first, did not help. if I copy the text to google's quick-add it works well for date&time just always messes up the title.

  When adding to Google Calendar it just stuffs all the info in the notes area. Nothing in the title. The date is the todays date, but the event is in the future. Does not enter the date for you which is the big time saver.
