Save and retrieve short notes to your Chrome Omnibox
Using Notes is simple. You can access it in two places.
Omnibox:
To get started, types "Notes" in the Omnibox and press the Tab key. Now you can type commands:
- Start typing an existing note name to retrieve a note. Select it to have its value copied to your clipboard.
- Type a note name and its value seperated by a colon to save a note. For example "my birthday: january 1st 1990".
- Type "remove" and the note name to and hit enter to remove the note. For example "remove my birthday".
Options page:
Click the Notes button in your browser to open the Notes options page.
- The page will list all saved notes.
- Click the X beside a note to remove it.
- Click a note itself to have its value copied to your clipboard.

- (2022-01-01) Tamás Bartha: It works as intended. It provides a really convenient way to save and retrieve short expressions (e.g. search filters you use often) using the OMNIBAR. @P N: You did not read the description at all. Read it and you will know how to use the extension.
- (2020-11-11) P N: Does nothing. Clicking on the addon icon brigs a blank page. I don't have the icon in the URL bar, so unable to use.
