• (2018-09-13) Default Account: When you open a new tab, the view allways falls back to the default. Which is quite anoying to change the setting from every tab. I rather would turn the function on and off for all tabs together. Eventually, I want to have the browser dark or bright, not really on tab dark one tab bright as it is now.

It makes all my favorite sites black, which is so much better! If you can deal with a few weird looking things here and there, you'll be fine. I keep it on all day, I only take it off while watching Youtube on fullscreen. nearly scared me when I saw my old dog in a white color xD I really love this extension, I've been trying so hard to get black sites. Not even Stylish had a style for me. It's much easier to simply turn this extension off when needed, compared to turning off styles in Stylish. You can even set a keyboard shortcut with this, I set mine to ctrl shift D
• (2015-04-25) Robert Yourell: No sites converted in a useful way. ICON on screen will not uninstall with program. I asked for help and five days later, no response. Who takes up real estate in the browser window? That's a bad idea. It's in the way. Many sites have somewhat gray on white text, which, when reversed, is nearly impossible to read. Most sites simply didn't convert except for one area that was not the main reading area. Biggest gripe is that I'm permanently stuck with this icon. Maybe I have to re-install Google. Daft.
• (2015-04-22) Sam Coulter: This is an excellent extension. The only issue is on occasion it will invert a picture or video. Beyond that though this simple extension works perfectly.

  If you can no longer scroll in gmail with mouse wheel or touchpad, try remove NightVision extension and relaunch chrome. Reactivating Night Vision disable scrolling in gmail again. Took me a while to figure out the problem was coming from this plugin !

  Hi, I removed the extension, but the icon won't go away. When I had the extension active, many pages would not invert (rather, large parts of them would not invert). Also, with text being dark gray, the inversion, when it happens is hard to read). What can I do to eliminate this icon from the pages?

  Almost the best "night vision" app available. Doesnt cause horrible blurring of text like some others. Missing one key feature though, the option to blacklist sites that I don't want inverted. e.g. a site that is already primarily black to begin with. Thanks!
