Moves the currently selected tab(s) to another open window.
Version 1.1 Updates
---------------------------------------------------------
- Right click "Jump link to other window" context menu now available
- Jumping multiple tabs at a time retain their selection on reaching their new host window
This extension creates a button that enables easy window-switching between tabs.
While there are numerous instances where this can be of use, individuals who regularly use multiple monitors and find themselves constantly dragging tabs between multiple Chrome windows will find solace in Window Jump. Now with a simple click of a button, the tabs currently selected move to the next open Chrome window. One particular scenario that continually reaps the benefits of Window Jump is using one screen as a display for videos or other media while browsing on the other(s). If something interesting is found in the browsing window, transferring it to the display window is now just a click away!
Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or feature requests!
NOTE: Linux users have reported a bug that prevents proper operation of Window Jump, which is currently being investigated. It is thought that the problem is with Chromium, not Window Jump itself, though this remains to be confirmed.
