Description from extension meta

EventGhost event trigger

Image from store EventGhost
Description from store This extension has two functions: 1) It triggers an event when a download is complete. 2) It allows you to trigger user-defined events based on the situation in the browser, ie. selection, link, media (image, audio, video) or general. This requires, that in EventGhost some Webserver (Webserver plugin) ran. If it runs, you have to make no changes. If it is not running, you must run one. Selected root directory may be empty. Credentials can also be empty (do equally in plugin and in extension).

  • (2019-08-02) Derrick Ducote: This plugin seems to work fine as of 8/1/19. You have to first enable the EventGhost Webserver. Then any changes to the plugin options requires a restart of Chrome. Gives you the option to send Selected text, Links, and Media urls to EventGhost. I had to make a separate plugin to send current page URL.
  • (2016-08-04) Bill DeWitt: ALthough this may have done what I wanted, it doesn't seem to run. The text boxes are deactivated and the buttons do not show up. I'm guessing it hasn't been updated in a couple of years. Hopefully someone else has done something similar.
