Description from store Use this extension to sign in to supported websites with Microsoft work or school accounts on Windows (10 and later versions) or macOS (11 and later versions). If you have a Microsoft Entra ID on your Windows or macOS computer, this extension enables improved Single Sign On for supported websites. You may still see additional authentication prompts like multi-factor verification depending on the access requirements for various applications, resources, and organizations. This extension is required for certain device-based conditional access policies for Microsoft Entra ID. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/conditional-access/concept-conditional-access-conditions#supported-browsers For macOS, this extension requires the device to be managed and requires the additional installation of Company Portal: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-macos-cp Note: If you are experiencing difficulties with signing in or accessing resources, it could be related to your organization’s device policies. Please submit a support ticket directly to Microsoft through your tenant’s subscription. The developer email address for the extension is not an avenue for customer support.

  • (2025-06-14) Dawid Moskalczuk: Extension leaks to other profiles, and additionally damages the browser profile and falls into a loop on Azure. On other profiles it is not possible to log in to another account - also a loop. Massacre.
  • (2025-06-13) Alexandru Gabriel: If your SSO extention keps failing, you can try deleting the extention, resetting chrome to default (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en), then adding it again. It fixed the problem for me. However it is still bullsh*t that it breaks all the time. Would be nice if it could be fixed.

  • (2025-06-04) sdfghjk: doesnt work
  • (2025-06-02) Anton Sivashtenko: It simply almost never works! What's the point of doing & publishing an extension that simply never works?
  • (2025-05-22) Sreekanth Goud Gundagoni: worst extension, even after installing extension and all s/ws are up to date with latest versions. But, still unable to login into applications. MS is forcing to use Edge/IE.
  • (2025-05-20) Evelynn Waters: The devil has taken the form of a digital entity. He calls himself "Microsoft Single Sign On". He will offer you total synchronization across your digital devices, but do not be fooled -- what he intends to do is spontaneously overwrite your PC under the veil of "OneDrive". He does not tell you anything, nor does he have to; you've already signed his contract. But there is a way to avoid his game. His influence is limited to the Windows system, where he will present himself every 3 days before you sign in. Do not falter; he cannot hurt you if you invoke the words 'remind me in three days'. More insidiously, he will present himself innocuously -- as a simple window -- "Sign into Microsoft". Do not be fooled; so long as you are using the Windows system, the devil is there.
  • (2025-05-19) Teppo Ruokosalmi: Monday morning, open first work site, not working anymore. I have added the extension just for this onto my extensions-toolbar.. Once i click it and it takes me to the main MS site, there's a login-button which seems to initialize a login-flow that saves the information for the extension as well.. After that the extension works again. So, just a stale token without any refresh-flow, or autom. redirect so that the user gets taken to the right login, etc. MS really needs to develop this extension a bit more but since they're pushing Edge, it's clear they probably won't..
  • (2025-05-15) Ho Jihn: Suddenly not usable, Nizar said support also dont know whats the root cause
  • (2025-05-14) Daniel Swift: This even after being downloaded and updated stops working for no reason.
  • (2025-05-06) kate z: can't login SharePoint
  • (2025-05-04) Zachary Johnson: Since the last update, i am no longer able to sign into any of my previously bookmarked Microsoft SharePoint sites. So now I can no longer use Chrome to access my company Microsoft sites. This sucks
  • (2025-04-03) Jubin Sherwin: Constantly removes itself from browser.
  • (2025-03-31) Ben Miller: 90% of the time it takes me at least 10 attempts to get signed in. Clicking on the extension does nothing and most of the time I sign in, it says "You can't get there from here." This makes the start of the day infuriating almost every day! The only good thing is, it isn't my fault I'm not more productive! For the love of all things, please fix this!
  • (2025-03-27) Magnus Guntvedt Brevik: Had to open the extension and log in there. Then it worked fine
  • (2025-03-27) Baptiste ZHONG: you can't delete it
  • (2025-03-24) Victor Nazarenko: Simply doesn't work
  • (2025-03-20) robert munoz: I have it installed and I still can't get into the programs I used to be able to get into before I was FORCED to install it. Another one of those "one step forward two steps back" fixes.
  • (2025-03-18) Nicole Ahmed: Just doesn't work - it keeps defaulting to login.live.com if you click on the extension which doesn't work with work or school accounts. Doesn't work with multiple account sign ins either. Google manage this fine with multiple accounts on Chrome or Edge.
  • (2025-03-16) Tamir Balva: 2.5 average sounds correct, works 50% of the time.
  • (2025-03-13) Oleksiy Nagornyy: This is a punishment from Microsoft for those users who don't want to use Edge
  • (2025-03-12) Patrick Hemmes: Works great
  • (2025-02-24) Richard Cooley: Really not great, does not work. I'm still logging into Teams several times a day. Teams is the worst.
  • (2025-02-21) can kalyoncuoglu: Cumbersome and doesn't work half the time
  • (2025-02-17) MdRaju 01: OK 👌
  • (2025-02-17) Chhannoo Verma: It's asking to install this extension again after some days.
  • (2025-02-17) Jason Horton: If you're logged in to multiple accounts this app won't work. You're forced to log out of other accounts before it will work. As I tend to work in multiple accounts it is extremely frustrating to use. If this could be solved, it would be great, but as it stands it is virtually unusable.
  • (2025-02-14) Pablo Álvarez del Río: It keeps asking me to install this extensions even though the extension is already installed, it happens randomly, sometimes I manage to log in fine. This is significantly affecting my productivity at work.

  • (2024-12-10) Umesh Rajbhandari: I think Microsoft is trying to force people to use Edge instead of Chrome. On my office computer Edge works but not Chrome when signing in.
  • (2024-12-02) Dani Roberts: Hi, just posting what I did to get this working for users at my company. We have a Conditional Access Policy in place, so some users were getting "you can't get there from here" randomly. The extension worked sometimes, sometimes it didn't. We put in a ticket with Microsoft and what resolved the issue was adding a registry key and restarting the PC. Registry Editor Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome Create a new DWORD in the Chrome folder, name it CloudAPAuthEnabled . Double-click on the new DWORD and change the value to 1. Click OK. Restart your PC. To reference an official Microsoft article, look up "Conditional Access: Conditions" on their learn forums and scroll to the "Chrome support" section. Hope this helps!
