• (2025-08-13) Charles Mc Carthy: It was generally a good extension and worked fine for years even with other extensions but over the last week on different version of the browsers it stopped working. First on chrome dev and then on chrome beta just now. Somehow the frame for holding the video is the size of theater mode without it being enabled ... This moves all the info sections below the video. It's like the divider bar is over the video window area and does not resize either. I hope somebody fixes it.

• (2025-08-12) jussi: This was great but it stopped working yesterday. Resizable divider does nothing and the video is in fixed size, and the comments or other stuff on the right doesn't load at all. I hope it gets fixed soon. Now it's unusable and have to be disabled.

It would be great if we could set a custom default view—like "Comments"—so that every time a new video is opened, it defaults to that instead of "Description." Also, as @TheBlitz mentioned, it would be much better if the comments and other elements didn't get hidden behind the selection buttons. Instead, they could be displayed in a dedicated boxed area below the buttons.

I got the dreaded spinning circle whilst waiting for a video to load (which it never did). The problem? This extension and when disabled all was back to normal. So, despite my burst of enthusiasm, it's back to my original score and comment. See above.

• (2024-02-28) Garry Christian: It's the best extensions for this function. It get the job done, simple and quick. But I think it would be better if those button can get customized, or at least styled to be in sync with the rest of the page, like, dark background with white border, and not just using the default button styling.

• (2023-10-02) Tligy: Have been using this for a few weeks and I have to say this has become one of my favourite extensions. I originally was just looking for something to put the comments to the side of the video rather than making you scroll down and while this probably isn't the best extension for doing only that, I've found it improved my Youtube watching experience a lot more than I expected. It puts the focus back on the video itself without throwing out other parts of Youtube like some extensions on here that aim to remove distractions. So if you want to casually watch Youtube for entertainment you can still fall down the related videos rabbit hole but now to do that you need to actually click onto the related tab which sounds like a small action but is perfect for stopping the mindless scrolling. I have ADHD and I usually don't like huge changes to layouts in sites I use a lot (even if the layout improves) but this was surprisingly easy to get used to and I much prefer the vibe when watching videos now. There are still some issues I get though like sometimes when I click on videos I get an offline error until I reload or it not being compatible with other Youtube extensions (like comment search) but it's not the end of the world. Oh, I also wish that the sidebar would default back to the title whenever you click onto a new video, so that you don't immediately see the new related videos. Don't write reviews for extensions a lot but wanted to here. Anyway, great extension and highly recommend.

• (2023-02-19) William Phan: This is actually insanely good. I installed it thinking it would replace the busy sidebar with the description of the video and the extension actually allows you to change the tab between related videos, playlist, comments, and descriptions. The only downside is that the tab interface is not customizable.? But I really like the extension and it has completely redesigned my viewing experience. Thank you for making this.
