This extension is designed to be minimalistic, does not track any user data, and only requires access to Google Calendar pages. How to Use: 1. Open an event in Google Calendar for editing. 2. • (2023-04-28) Nic Thompson: Didn't work for me. Only showed up about 30% of the time.
  • (2023-01-30) Steve Magruder: Works exactly as expected. Thank you for this extension! What would make this A+ perfect for me is if this also contained a setting to change the color coding of the event. E.g., I like to change my completed events/tasks to gray.
  • (2022-12-16) Steve Johns: It was working fine for the past two weeks. Today suddenly the check mark has disappeared. :( (Update: It's fixed now!)
  • (2022-10-28) Molly Hutt: This is a great idea, but I wish there were more aesthetic options, like a checkmark emoji without the bright green box. The box can be confusing or distracting if you already use emojis on your calendar, e.g., to indicate different types of events so you can tell them apart quickly. It's also not ideal if you're aiming to keep your calendar's color scheme subtle and calm. I may use it in the future, but it's not quite what I need right now.
  • (2022-09-29) Richard Kelley: This extension worked great for about a week. Now it no longer allows strikesthrough completed or cancelled events. The check mark and "x" shows up but is non-functional. Please fix !
  • (2022-09-07) Brooklyn Brackett: This extension had exactly the functionality I needed but unfortunately it only worked half the time. I open an event and there is no green check option for me to strikethrough the text. Please fix! This would be so helpful if it worked!
  • (2022-08-20) Oscar Viklund (Ollie): I really like the strikethrough effect however it would be great if you could choose which emoji you wanted instead of the kinda ugly green one. But it works really well so I'm not complaining.
  • (2022-07-30) Intan: Exactly what is needed! Simple but functional! Thanks, dev!
  • (2022-05-10) Dan Fletcher: It really is absolutely fantastic & now is an essential feature on my calendar. If it was possible to check off events from Android as well it would be even better!! Many thanks to the developers.
  • (2022-02-25) Roddi Veet: Hi, is there an option to add more than one box, so it can look like the event was made or not like red and green color?
  • (2022-02-08) Luke Eros: Perfect.. Just what I needed
  • (2022-01-21) Forrest Elliott: Exactly what I was looking for! Now I can use google calendar to manage due dates without having to use tasks, which doesn't allow bulk csv import.
  • (2022-01-17) James Orestes: Very very cool. Exactly what I was looking for, For those of us using Brave, make sure Brave Shields is down for google calendar.
  • (2021-12-01) Mike D: Helpful! I don't understand why this isn't already a built-in feature from Google. I wish I could do this on Android App or by right clicking on the event.
  • (2021-06-29) David Haddad: AWESOME extension, I manage tasks and time in Google Calendar and this allows you to cross them out AND (optionally) add a check mark in front of the calendar item. Simple and perfect.
  • (2021-06-03) 跑跑: Nice!
  • (2021-02-12) Priyanka Upadhyay: Exactly what I was looking for. Made me ditch a to-do list app completely and now I use Google Calendar as the major to-do app. Thank you so much!
  • (2021-02-10) Molly Scott: Oh this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! So easy to setup and use. I am using it for a "School" calendar for my boys (homeschool) so they can mark the task as completed when they finish it.

  • (2022-10-21, v:1.6.1) Dawn Chadwick: Not working for every event
I am using this to strikethrough appointments that have been canceled or rescheduled, but must remain on the calendar for records. My problem is that it isn't letting me consistently strikethrough every event. For example today, I had to cancel every appointment on the schedule. It let me strikethrough 4 out of 9 appointments. Is there a way to fix this? I already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

I now check off all of my calendar events in order to manage blocks of time effectively. At present, this only works when in front of my laptop, but it would be amazing if it were possible to check off events on the fly from Android as well. Is this something that is possible & what would it look like? Many thanks for your great extension!
