  • (2022-10-25) Joey Greenwood: This extension is almost perfect! I have the same problem as Ilya Kuchinskiy where I want to keep the window anchored to the right side of the screen and have it expand to the left. It would be really useful if you could save the position of the window as well. Either way, this extension is a huge time saver if you need to precisely resize your windows frequently.
  • (2022-09-12) Gustavo Draghi: Awesome!
  • (2022-08-24) Roya Rakhshan: Simple and effective, but the shortcut is annoying as heck. There's no clear way to turn off the cmd+shift+down shortcut, and I use that all the time to select text. It's frustrating when I'm trying to select some text and this window resize extension turns on like 15-20 times a day. If you have time to either remove that shortcut entirely or make it possible to turn it off, that would be brilliant and I'd update this to a 5 star.
  • (2022-07-03) Sher: It doesn't seem to work. I made a preset size and when I click to resize the window it doesn't go smaller than 515px, which was the whole problem in the first place
  • (2022-05-17) Aetherian: Tl;dr this extension doesn't have a keyboard shortcut, so it's pretty clunky. Really irritating extension now that Chrome has taken the keyboard shortcut (ctrl-shift-A) for the mandatory (pretty useless) tab search function. The extension suggests you can change it in the "keyboard shortcuts" page, which doesn't exist, for either the extension or Chrome.
  • (2022-04-29) Oğuzhan Şimşek: Great work Serdar hocam, I wish we could sort screen sizes.
  • (2022-03-08) Matt Diehl: Fixes a big limitation on Chrome OS. Now I can easily resize my 4 windows (Chrome OS only supports split view for 2 windows). I *did* have to change the shortcut to Ctrl+Shift+S since Chrome now uses Ctrl+Shift+A for something else.
  • (2021-12-20) Scott Bram: Simple, perfect solution.
  • (2021-08-29) Seonwook Kim: SUPER! Great app. simple and intuitive. would like to have keyboard shortcut for window size. Thank you so much
  • (2021-08-17) Johnathan Doeinger: I don't think its working anymore with Chrome. It will not create a window under 500px wide! I suspect that Chrome is overriding the extension not letting any window be less than 500px wide now. As a website developer it was much easier to just change the width of the window to the viewpoint I needed. This extension works for other sizes above 500px though. Not sure if there will ever be a fix for this?
  • (2021-05-07) Fokke Lingeman: A simple extension to resize your browser window to a set resolution. I use this to get consistent sizes when taking screenshots. Works great!
  • (2021-03-02) 72pinkush: Thank you for making this, works really well. I have one suggestion. Add an option to remember the window position on the display screen please. Like Ilya Kuchinskiy said moving the window manually to the usual position after resizing is pain.
  • (2021-02-13) Magnus: Exactly what I was looking for. Simple and effective.
  • (2021-01-27) Ben Marcus: Perfect once I learned how to set key commands for extensions at chrome://extensions/shortcuts Setting custom sizes is very easy in extension options. I can easily switch between monitors and get the perfect browser size.
  • (2020-10-24) Ilya Kuchinskiy: Excellent extension, everything works as expected, just missing one little following option. I usually keep my Chrome window on the right side of an ultra-wide, in two sizes: 1. Article width for scrolling through all web pages 2. Preferred 16:9 width for YouTube However when I use this shortcut to switch to the YouTube's wider width, the extension enlarges the window from the right side of the Chrome window. Given that Chrome's window located on the right side of the screen, it simply extends beyond my monitor, and keeps the left side static. Could you please please add the switch whether to resize Chrome from windows' left or right side? To clarify, I run MacOS dual monitors setup with Chrome window located near the right side of my left monitor. Could the issue of extending right edge of the window into the oblivion be an attempt to extend into my second monitor? Much appreciated!
  • (2020-08-26) David Stankunas: Installed...pressed ctrl + shift + a...nothing happens. Doesn't work.
  • (2020-04-01) Jo Anne Van Sant: Installed this on Chrome version 80 on Windows 10 Enterprise. Clicking on the extension icon doesn't do anything but grey out the icon. Right-clicked to see Options but that just pops up a new tab to add/edit window size options. Saw a reviewer mention a CTRL+SHIFT+A shortcut which does resize my window but to an unspecified size.
  • (2020-02-21) - Nanch: Absolutely perfect. 11/10. So easy and perfectly functional. I love the Control+Shift+A shortcut usage. It would be nice if there were a button in the options for "Add size from current window" so you could resize and then add that size instead of taking a screenshot or testing different sizes.
  • (2019-08-21) Adam Alexander: Makes no sense, no options. Click on the extension and it just turns grey. Instant uninstall.
  • (2019-05-28) Stephen Lewis: This is very useful when used in conjunction with Dragon Naturally Speaking. I created a simple spoken command "resize-it" which invokes ctrl + shift + a. A fantastic little program here.
  • (2017-12-11) Alek Malesevic: Works at any configuration and snappy to update. Great for configuring a browser window to be at a smaller resolution for screen capture. My only minor gripe is that it includes the toolbar when sizing the window (which makes sense)—an option to size based on the CANVAS would be incredible to have.
  • (2017-10-26) Mauricio Servellon: 1. Do i have to remember every resolution? 2. Do i have to guess which resolution i'm in? 3. What's the key?? oh! it's in the description in the store, not on the plugin! 4. UX man... it's better to recall by seeing: make a clickable menu of resolutions also.
  • (2017-05-18) Jack Seefeldt: Looking for an easy way to restore browser window size when it gets changed in tablet mode (Asus Flip convertible). This does pretty much what I need, except that I've found there have to be at least two window sizes specified in Options or it doesn't work. Not EXACTLY what I wanted, but pretty close! Simple, easy to use, fast. Thanks!
  • (2017-01-19) Does exactly what it's supposed to, and nothing more. Very fast (no laggy menus), very simple. Way better than the alternatives.

  • (2023-08-28, v:1.1.0) Marko Teittinen: Suggestion: optional labels for size options
First I want to say thanks for this extension. It is super useful for creating preferred window sizes for specific purposes. Maybe I create too many window sizes that are too specific for each purpose so that it becomes difficult to remember which size was for what purpose. But I do have my preferred sizes for things like email, video calls, etc. Some of the sizes are relatively close to each other. Especially since I have slightly different preferred sizes on different laptops (with different screen resolutions). So it would be nice to be able to (optionally) associate a label with each created window size. The item could be displayed in the list as "Label (width x height)". That would make it easier to spot the right window size in the list. Another nice thing would be having some way of rearrange the entries in the list (other than by deleting and re-entering a size).

Just trying this in Linux (Kubuntu) and it does not seem to be working. Not sure if it is just not supported in Linux or if I am doing something wrong.
