  • (2024-08-06) Fatih DEMİR: It's an excellent plugin. Works perfectly. When I send emails to the developer, the developer responds quickly and provides solutions and releases new versions and updates. My only suggestion; It would be much better if it is added to Devtools. I'm glad I bought it.
  • (2023-08-25) Benjamin PERRY: Amazing, only 2 problems: 1) When you inspect element and activate the mobile view on Chrome CSS Scan doesn't work very well... 2) Why have an "inherited-style"? I don't understand the logic. It would be so much simpler to keep the name of the original class.
  • (2023-08-09) 有: Sellout
  • (2023-03-15) George Giraldo: Works well.
  • (2023-02-20) Sam: I've paid for it but I'm not satisfied with it as it copies so much unnecessary CSS that is not used for the element you copy. And even in HTML there's are so many classes. The naming convention for some classes is just so weird. It's almost like doing so much work to make something work. Sometimes this work maybe worth it but most of the time you'll feel like I should write this from scratch as so much cleanup is required even for very small elements because so much unnecessary CSS rules and properties are being copied most of the time. I'm really torn between do I see much value in it. I wonder if there's a refund option for this because so far I'm not much excited about using it.
  • (2023-01-30) James Ward: This is a paid extension so I havem't used and can't comment on how good it is or isn't but feel that it should be made clear you need to pay to use this ($90) however, you can use the inspect tool in chrome to get the same details for free
  • (2023-01-23) Greg Miller: It helps finding and understanding parsed CSS.
  • (2022-12-27) Iqbal Ahmed: doesn't worth
  • (2022-11-10) G P: It appears that this extension is no longer free to use. Any attempt to use it on a page results in a popup requesting a license key. At the very least the most basic functions ought to be activated by default I would suggest. If the extension provides no useful function without payment then it's useless to most.
  • (2022-11-08) Kenny Salter: CSS Scan makes quick easy work of writing CSS code for clients. It's so much better than using chrome dev tools for inspecting and editing CSS anywhere on the page. Worth every penny and then some.
  • (2022-08-13) monette medina: Very Easy to use!
  • (2022-08-01) Proudpixel Website Services: A highly useful tool for front end developers!
  • (2022-07-30) Devin Santamaria: Really like CSS Scan - tried a bunch of tools & this one handles everything I need when building sites.
  • (2022-07-24) Maarten Van Gent: Great and easy to use tool for inspecting and manipulating CSS. As a designer it's a lightweight way to review and edit designs that have been developed.
  • (2022-01-29) 이재희: It's pretty awesome.
  • (2021-12-05) Linda MacDonald: I absolutely adore css scan. it makes your tailwind project sinfully easy to mange and the extension is continually maintained
  • (2021-11-28) Donna Fontenot: Ends the frustration of endlessly opening nested code in dev tools to find the right selector. It's just right there, easy to see, and easy to copy. Perfect.
  • (2021-11-26) elena vorster: super
  • (2021-09-22) Alex (SupremeRumHam): I've been using CSS Scan since it came out. Its great!!
  • (2021-08-13) Omer Iqbal: One of my favorite extension. Once you start using It, there's no going back 😅. Saves so much time.
  • (2021-07-11) Dominik Weber: Does not work!
  • (2021-05-28) Igor Houwat: It speeds up development, especially once you get a knack for the shortcuts. Between this and toast.log for viewing console messages (by the same author), I don't open DevTools as much, which makes for a much smoother development experience.
  • (2021-04-25) Martin Castillo: A geat tool for front end development. Speed things up!!! Please keep the updates coming...
  • (2021-02-28) J Fërzt: $80 for a tool that is offered for free on other sites??? You don't burn your head off! ...or yes? too intelligent doing fraudulent business!
  • (2021-01-09) Hundo: I think it is worth it, definitely saved me alot of time and is a work flow changer. My biggest gripe is that you cant scroll down if it goes off the page, seems like a huge oversite and if it were fixed my review would be 5/5. Please fix this.
  • (2020-11-27) A. Sava: Very handy. Thumbs up for its developer for offering great support and constantly adding features and improvements.
  • (2020-11-20) Marc Bernard: I love the integration with Chrome. See the CSS definitions right on the page. Very helpful. I'm missing something to trace back why a given CSS setting is the way it is i.e. which CSS file/script was responsible for setting it.
  • (2020-10-23) Mohammad Moalemi: not worth
  • (2020-10-01) Phong Lu: Perfect for my need. Excellent job!
  • (2019-12-04) T R: 60$ for a tiny tool like this?
  • (2019-11-24) Vladimir Mikulic: SnappySnippet + Peeper much better
  • (2019-11-20) Alexander Schlichting: It helps but I also expected more functionality. Seems like a lot of the things I were hoping for come now with the Pro version but $20 monthly is twice of what I pay for Photoshop monthly. Not sure it is worth that much.
  • (2019-09-11) Oguz kagan Olmez: it would be great if extension has a free version.
  • (2019-06-07) Rishi Uttam: Doesn't seem to work with media queries. When you scale the browser window down CSSscan hover element still shows the original font-size. Its incorect. Have to manually refresh each time in order to get it to work. I think this is a easy fix. It should also show the current browser window size.
  • (2019-06-03) Pedro J. Martínez: Edit. I wrote a harsh review due to the current license limitation (2 uses) and I had to reinstall it >2 times, so it wouldn't work. Turns out this is not a greedy decision to make customers buy it more times like I thought at first, but for piracy reasons. Guilherme kindly contacted me, offering help and a new license without any hesitation so just keep in mind that while he's working on a better license system, be careful and don't uninstall/reinstall the extension too much. The extension itself is a time saver: it's super fast, has pinnable snippets and it provides more info than the built-in dev tools.
  • (2019-06-03) Jaime Berrill: this is so useful and saves me a ton of time
  • (2019-05-07) Jay Skunkworks: I asked the author for Sass nesting and he added the feature. Now that's great support! :-) Bumped from 4 stars to 5
  • (2019-04-25) Matthias Dilger: Perfect for people like me who after many years still can't quite figure out CSS.
  • (2019-03-05) Abraão Azevedo: Amazing tool, a must for every web developer!
  • (2019-03-04) Leonardo: I've been using CSS Scan since its release. As a front-end developer, this tool has proved to be very useful to me during my work.
  • (2019-03-03) Felipe César: Fast and effective way to speed up frontend development and study css. I can't live without it anymore :D
  • (2019-03-03) Lenilson Dos Santos: Speeds up a lot frontend development by getting clean, computed CSS.
  • (2019-02-25) Sander Luis: Great extension, it helps a lot in learning and understanding the layouts. It got much better and faster after the latest updates. Just keep it up!
  • (2019-01-16) Gleb Sabirzyanov: Very simple and insanely useful! Thanks for making this!
  • (2018-12-21) Guilherme henrique mendes: Ferramenta top! Me ajudou muito na construção do CSS do meu site wordpress.
  • (2018-07-26) Benji: Extension is ok. Though, I thought it was more fully featured. Assumed the selected element's CSS plus all child elements' css would be copied. However, it only copies CSS for the specific selected element only. SnappySnippet is more feature-full. Good work however, looking forward to hopefully frequent updates.
