- I've used this app for a few years now. It really saved me a lot of time while I was reading long publications for school and work. I'm able to cook, drive, clean or whatever else while also getting work done. I'm not a really fast reader so this helps with that too. If I am looking at the document being read I can follow along the highlighted words being read and that helps my eyes and brain keep up even when I'm listening at 2.5 times speed. I subscribed for 2 years, but now I am not. It is a little hard to justify the price for such a simple program. I'd pay for another year if I had more school left, but now I'm so close to finishing I don't think the price is worth it. I think maybe a tiered system could be better to allow cheaper monthly options (also with options to upgrade to a higher tier if needed). $11.58 per month is pretty steep. My favorite voices from when I was subscribed are: Snoop Dog and Cliff (the founder). The free version lets you listen at up to 1.5 speed witch is pretty good. The best voice in my opinion is Samantha. Pro tip: if you're going to be listening in the car with spotty internet service use an offline voice to prevent any pauses. I found that if you are using a voice that requires an internet connection it can have long pauses while going through a cellphone dead zone. (It may be different now, but I'm not sure) Speechify team: Thank you for continuing to update the application to make it better. Also, thank you for making a free version. I really appreciate it! - I’ve had a really positive experience using the Speechify Chrome extension. It makes reading online content so much easier and more engaging, especially for long articles, PDFs, or study material. The text-to-speech quality is clear and natural, and I like that I can adjust the speed based on my preference. It would be great if more voices were available for free users, as that would make the tool even more accessible especially for students and those who rely on text-to-speech support.

- Honestly can't live without Speechify. I think this is the perfect use for AI, improving communication and clarity of learning. I hope whoever contributed to the software knows they helped someone with ADHD in ways I have never had accessible before. I used this to listen to hundreds of peer reviewed articles, could quickly make summaries for meetings and discussions, and the follow along reader has helped keep my busy brain engaged and focused. I really cannot stress how much this product has helped my day to day life. I don't think it needs to be AS expensive as it is, but that is in no means to say the service is TOO expensive. The activist and teacher in me wants to see accessibility for learning for all learners, and the possibility Speechify holds in this respect is immense. Thanks a million to all involved, you are doing a great thing! Free Palestine , the Congo, Cuba, Ukraine, and all other places affected by colonialism and imperialism always and forever <3

- As a busy, neurodivergent mom, thank you for this app. It allows me to read books I already own while I do other things, like laundry and cooking. I am also learning how to listen better with this app, as well as listen to books faster. The other day, I was listening to the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as read by Paris Hilton, and it made my day. No, it made my entire month. It's so hilariously relatable and funny, which makes listening enjoyable and helps me feel connected. I couldn't have had that experience without Speechify. Thank you, developers.
