- (2021-07-05) Krzysztof Ciesielski: Great extension - many ways to manage bookmarks (boards, columns), task and excellent contact with the founder.
- (2021-07-04) Ged Oni: Without adequate sync function - the extension is almost useful. At least for me. Also I dont't like that the extension changes the new tab page
- (2021-05-17) sexylypa: The app is unabled after few days of usage unless you log in. I don't want to log in
- (2021-04-08) M Z: I paid for the lifetime plan, but my account never got the upgrade. The worst of all is that my boards suddenly disappeared and I lost all my bookmarks. Unfortunately, I didn't have any backups. I lost tons of valuable information. I wrote to the support team, but I never received any feedback!. Total Scam!! Stay Away!!
- (2021-03-14) Moshope Ajiboye: Ok, so I had a terrible experience with Qlearly because of my ignorance. However, after searching for and not finding any other chrome extension like Qlearly, I still had to go back to download my Qlearly basic app. After tinkering about, I was eventually able to solve the problems that made me give Qlearly a bad rating earlier. Qlearly helps me solve my browser tab problems in the simplest ways. Without it for a few days, I went back to my old disorderly and crowded tab which slows down productivity.
- (2021-03-11) John H. Embretsen: Temporary review during trial: Qlearly seems like a promising tool that is good on the eyes. Trying it out, but don't want to pay for it until I get some response from support. So far I have waited several weeks with no reply that makes sense. I see few indications that the project is still alive in 2021. For example, it seems the search functionality does not match URLs, only titles, nor does it match bookmarks that are not imported into Qlearly (may be by design). Takes some getting used to, what do do for saving, opening, single tabs, all tabs, etc. Also to find some way to handle bookmarks vs Qlearly entries, needs some investigation. I intend to post a new review if the support situation improves.
- (2021-02-26) Emily Rose Giddings: Love Qlearly! Creating sections and navigating around my saved areas is very easy and intuitive. I had a question and the creator got back to me and helped me figure it out. I have been disappointed by bookmark organizers in the past who dropped off and stopped supporting their software, but I believe in Qlearly. Worth it to upgrade. Definitely recommended for staying organized and keeping track of sites that you find valuable.
- (2021-02-04) Stéphanie Mercier: I love Qlearly. I use it every day. It has become part of my business workflow. I could not go back using regular bookmarks. I have tried similar apps and extensions, but this one is by far my favorite. I love the way we can structure the folders and the boards.
- (2021-01-21) Omar Imam: I am an organization freak when it comes to some things, bookmarks definitely being one of them. Since day one of my trying it out on a whim, this extension has become a part of my daily routine and an integral part of keeping me sane at times. It takes a little bit of effort to ensure that things are set up in the right way that works for your particular workflow (but then again, so does anything else that's worthwhile), however... once you've got your categories mapped out, it makes life so much easier. Work, School, Entertainment, Developer, Fitness, Learning, Science, and Accounts are my main folders. Those are broken down into their individual components. Take "Developer", for example, it's broken down into: "Javascript", "Frontend Resources", "Backend Resources", "Ruby", "Python", "Blockchain", "Animation", "Mobile Development", "APIs" Then those boards are further broken down into groups that make sense to me. "Javascript" - Libraries, Build Tools, Backend, Full-Stack, Frontend, Audio Manipulation I know I come across a treasure trove of good information that I would like to keep as a reference, and Qlearly has allowed me to do that in a way that I will actually be able to find it again, very easily. Other bookmark applications I've used in the past have been great, but this one takes it a step and a half farther. Even if you're not as crazy about keeping bookmarks organized as I am, you can still benefit from it. You don't have to use all the levels like I have, maybe you just wanna shove everything into one folder. (When I'm working on a project and get too exhausted to organize, I tend to do that, and then I just organize it later) Being able to share boards with other people is a really useful tool at work, too. I feel like a Slack Integration, Notion Integration or a mobile app would really kick things up to cosmic levels. The ability to change or create your own themes would be great, as well. Honestly, I'm excited to see where you go with this, what you have so far is solidified into my daily workflow already. Thank you for creating such a bada...... product! (I don't know if I'm allowed to say that word? heh..)
- (2021-01-10) David Martínez: Good extension and great customer service. When my trial period ended I couldn't recover my bookmarks, but Guillaume solved it quickly.
- (2021-01-09) Chucho Coco: One of the best bookmark extensions out there BUT when I installed it, I'm sure it was free....somehow I was forced to update to the paid version, why???? I don't see any option to export my bookmarks to the basic version, I can't even access the option's page, where is my data? how can I migrate to the Basic version? I'm so dissapointed. UPDATE: Solved thanks!
- (2021-01-08) Oliv es: Great Tools, a lot of improvements were added and bug fixed, it save me a lot of time, I can organize my bookmark depending on my days or workflow, highly recommended!
- (2021-01-07) Rodney Aries: I constantly add and delete Chrome plugins. I rarely offer a written review. I have tried multiple bookmark managers and this program offers the best ease of management, organization and visibility.
- (2021-01-07) Tobias Groh: Mit Abstand der beste Bookmark Manager. Sehr guter Support direkt durch den Entwickler. Weiter so...
- (2021-01-07) Alexis Junior: Excelente herramienta.
- (2021-01-07) Moti Sh: this is one of the best software out there for the task.. I like how it helps me organize all my best and important sites. it's very convenient and solve me a lot of time. .great work. since I installed the software, it has gotten even better and they are fixing the bugs and continue to develop all the time.(they take this very seriously).
- (2021-01-04) Tomasz Jędrak: I'm paying for PRO and there is no way to back it up... So many bugs, like - duplication of all bookmarks; - my last backup was in October (I'm on PRO subscription); - vanishing boards after reordering them - no way to import .html file from specific locations (on board views it is possible). Tbh. I don't have time to rant about this tool, it's enough to see previous comments that clearly creator of this tool doesn't do much about these problems. It had potential and I would be patient if I wasn't on pro plan; I expect that basic features like backup will work without any trouble.
- (2020-12-29) Mikey K: I really like Qlearly and for a while, switched to it. Ultimately, though, I went back to Toby, which works better for me. The customer service is great, and super responsive. However, I can't really justify paying for an extension, especially if it doesn't have an accompanying, dedicated mobile app for Android or iOS. Toby accomplishes most of the features here, and it's free. Again, I think this has a lot of advantage, and tons of potential, but I can achieve most of this with Toby. The features that Qlearly has that Toby doesn't really, at least for me, doesn't justify full migration or payment. With that said, I can see why more people would like Qlearly, it's kind of like Kanban Flow or Trello, but a simpler, more tailored experience. It tries to do a lot, and in that sense, would only be worth using if it did have an Android app where you can sync your stuff and it would even have its own built-in browser to open your tabs, notes, bookmarks, etc. Anyway, this is no way means I don't recommend this extension. I do. It's just for me, I prefer Toby, especially because it's free. I think it's really important to understand that this is just an extension, so a payment doesn't make sense. If it had apps, 100%, I think it'd be worth paying for.
- (2020-11-30) The Man Voiss: support takes forever, product and company's website constantly break, and something that they did when switching to paid plans caused me to lose everything. I'm furious that I ever invested time and trust in this product. the dev should really be ashamed at the state of this product, but I have a feeling he doesn't really care.
- (2020-11-13) Irfan Saeed Khan: without no warning, a message is shown your trial has expired, at least they have given chance to download my bookmarks first, they were important, when i downloaded app there was nothing like trial period but a free version with few boards allowed but now all of sudden my important bookmarks are lost. Do something about it. will change rating if i get my data back. EDIT : thanks man.
- (2020-11-12) Bjorn: It used to be completely free, been using it for nearly a year and suddenly it became a 30 day trial which expired instantly, not allowing me to get to my saved information without having to pay for their PRO tier.
- (2020-11-11) Justin Brazil: Dude, this is the perfect plugin for people who find themselves struggling with 300 tabs open in Chrome. I've tried many others, but this app is my go-to as of now. It has a great landing page, slick interface, and feature set accessible by shortcuts. Save and organize all open tabs, seperate by category, etc. Nice!
- (2020-11-11) Jing Jin:
- (2020-11-11) Nadja Hong:
- (2020-11-11) Tarun Bhalothia: Neat
- (2020-10-23) Winston Davis: Qlearly is the Most used, and one of the best tools that I have in my arsenal. Looking forward to the updates. I use it every day.Just like waking up in the morning. or walking. It is a must have tool. Yes it need improvements. Guillaume have corrected many of the issues. Now I just looking forward to aditional features such as password lock per board. and many others. thanks for such a great tool.
- (2020-10-20) Steve TVMC: Time and mind management in one, thanks Guillaume !!
- (2020-09-20) Learning with Micky FA: Buena Extención
- (2020-08-27) Richard Perry: Update: I wrote this long review and then got a few emails back from the founder, although my messages were read it took 2 weeks to respond. The ‘reason’ was improvements that would solve my issues. Admittedly the lost entries / columns / boards are solved by logging out and back in again. But this should not really be the case really, should it? Same as the only way for invitees to see shared boards and changes is again to log out and back in again. With proper state management & synchronisation this could be averted. So, nice tool but PLEASE take the time to remedy these annoying bugs and issues and update your user community when you have. I for one would be happy to refer others so long as the service was stable and worked as it should. Review starts below: Qclearly has so much promise. I didn't put the time in when I first subscribed via appsumo, a free download at the time, but after putting in a bit of time and reading that the developer was struggling to keep Qclearly going I subscribed for a lifetime Pro account. Moved all my bookmarks into boards from the browser, boards for todo lists in kanban style for prospects I needed to contact (mostly website links of links to lists online in google docs) and then the problems started. Started with 'columns' in boards duplicating entries. OK, small glitch I can live with as can just deleted the duplicates. Mildly annoying but no biggie. Then an entire column in a board "lost" the content. First time thought may be an issue with cloning boards, so shrugged and got on with recreating manually. Then entries in columns started disappearing. The entire columns in boards. Now this is actually severely impacting me as I stupidly started adding entries without creating a backup / adding to another list. So now I have lost over a weeks work, luckily I have History Search plugin installed as well so can search by text string over past year and recreate but man, what a pain! Looking through the review history this critical issue has been evidenced and highlighted for fix since March 2019, and possibly earlier. Still not fixed 18 months later??? Update: This is indeed fixed by logging out and back in again, but needs to be timed with when the servers are up and available!! There really is little or no excuse for poor and unresponsive support if you are serious about a tech business. I sent 4 emails over the space of 10 days direct to the developer and can see they have been opened and when (using Hubspot Tracking) I have also contacted via facebook messenger and can see also this message was read over a week ago. Even followed up saying "I can see you've read my message, how about a response back". Eventually after 2 weeks I got a personal response – the same to the letter over 2-3 days to each message, so “canned”. So - a lot of promise, and can see how this could for me be a great tool to manage my work easily. Until Qclearly becomes stable, which includes remedying the issues such as item going “missing”, servers going down and requirement to log out and back in again to see / see changes to shared boards, I suggest caveat emptor. Know that if you sign up and start using Qcleary, you really should: Keep a backup of all entries (At least until the promised autobackup is provided) Don't be surprised if items just go missing, then some may reappear once or twice and then disappear again. The way to remedy this is to logout (yep, look hard to click on the power button in your profile – not obvious!) and log back in again – Dadah, they will all reappear. Also, for any shared columns or boards the receiver will also need to logout and log back in again for them to appear in their account – and repeat any time they are updated – ouch!!
- (2020-08-19) Paddowstoel: Very useful, thanks.
- (2020-08-12) Benji Bien-Aimé: I forgot to cancel the automatic payment for unlimited lifetime so I asked for a refund. Never got a response. I don't even have the feature that I paid... Scammer.
- (2020-08-04) Tammam Alzaidi: For a free plugin, this is a great option for bookmark management with free sync across devices and simple UI, sure it has problems and lacks features, but still it is a solid option for no cost.
- (2020-07-26) Taylor Banks: I really want to love Qlearly, but using it has been such a mixed experience. The service and its developer have proven to be highly unreliable, and I've lost data multiple times. I still use it for my new tab page, but don't rely on it for storage of bookmarks, as I've lost several dozen saved items each time the dev has had server outages, etc.
- (2020-07-16) Karim Sakhibgareev: Great up, but unfortunately it is not reliable. Yesterday it erased all my bookmarks from secondary board and duplicated all records on Primary board.
- (2020-07-06) Kevin Evans: Is this actively being developed? The last update looks like ti was in October 2019
- (2020-04-11) Paul Burns: Love the concept, but Bitdefender keeps telling me its unsafe. I've emailed to support 3x now and never received an answer. Thats disconcerting. I did love the layout and the way it worked and the product, however, when support does not answer and when bit defender says its not safe, I can't trust it. Update: I have since received a confirmation this has been updated and fixed. While it took weeks to receive a reply it has been answered.
- (2020-04-10) Karen Kotsinyan: doesn't work properly. removed!
- (2020-04-07) Cody Tyson Loans: Receiving an enormous error "connection is not safe, someone may be trying to steal your data" upon trying to login to create an account. Apparently their security is 20+ days past due/expired. I want to check this out, looks really good but not sure I can trust them with all that data now.
- (2020-04-01) Shahab Edalatian: Has so much room for improvement but still works perfectly fine.
- (2020-03-29) Crispy Critter: I loved it until I had to uninstall and reinstall it and it won't log in. The developers site is gone as well so no help there.
- (2020-03-19) Fede Nolasco: I usually, don't post review, but I think this neat productivity tool is worth a review. I had to spent two days reorganizing my 10 years old bookmarks, but eventually to my satisfaction I feel it was an achievement doing it with Qlearly. The results: 47 boards organised across 5 folders. I can easily search for one over 300+ validated bookmarks by using a simple search box from Qlearly. To be on the safe side, I made a backup of each board in HTML format. But overall, I haven’t encountered any issue while working with this great bookmark manager. Feature improvements, I would suggest: 1) Boards should be sortable in ASC / DESC order 2) Bookmarks in boards should be sortable in ASC / DESC order. 3) Bookmark item title should be 100% visible while hovering or wrapping bookmark item. 4) Eventually, folders should be movable up and down to swap order. Thanks for this great product, keep the good work! Fede Nolasco, Data Architect, Ireland.
- (2020-03-18) Henny Rojas: You may want to stay away from this extension. The developer does not respond to support inquiries. I am a paid user and can no longer access my bookmarks nor can I log in to my account. The extension had promise but its become useless.
