A uBO Lite (uBOL) egy *engedélyt nem igénylő* MV3-alapú tartalomblokkoló.
Az alapértelmezett szabálykészlet megfelel a uBlock Origin alapértelmezett szűrőkészletének:
- uBlock Origin beépített szűrőlistái
- EasyList
- EasyPrivacy
- Peter Lowe hirdetési és nyomkövető-kiszolgálókat tartalmazó listája
További szabályokat engedélyezhet a beállítások oldalon – kattintson a _Fogaskerekek_ ikonra a felugró panelen.
A uBOL teljes mértékben deklaratív, vagyis nincs szükség állandó uBOL folyamatra a szűréshez, és a CSS/JS injektálás-alapú tartalomszűrést maga a böngésző végzi megbízhatóan, nem pedig a kiegészítő. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az uBOL maga nem fogyaszt CPU/memória erőforrásokat, amíg a tartalom blokkolása folyamatban van – az uBOL service worker folyamatára _csak_ akkor van szükség, amikor az felugró panellel vagy a beállítási oldalakkal érintkezik.

- OK for some uses but not to remove or block a specific domain from ever being shown in the results of a webpage. For instance, if you get a specific entry on a google search result (like something from nytimes.com) you can select it and have it removed each time... the trouble is that it would work only for that specific item on the page. If the html code for it will change or it's being produced by another search (for which a nytimes.com result is available) you will end up seeing that entry because it's not an exact match to whatever filter you originally created in UBO. Therefore for similar more advanced uses is quite unhelpful and useless.

- If you get the "This content isn't available, try again later." problem on youtube, try disabling the experimental filter "uBlock filters – Experimental"

- uBlock is great not only has it blocked every ad I've come across but even allows me to block popups on websites that aren't technically ads for a more streamlined browsing experience. Everyone I have recommended this to loves it. I couldn't imagine using the internet without an extension like this.

- I had uBlock Origin and out of nowhere it got replaced with this which really shows even Google was nervous! Nothing could beat uBlock Origin so they banned it and gave us this which bends to Google's whims.

- It's good, just keep it updated. The original is still better, but then you'd have to use Firefox or Opera. I don't like those browsers.

- They really overcomplicated this product. You can add custom rule, where the syntax is not explained but you have to guess. you click add, and the rule is saved somewhere, nowhere to be seen again.
