Session Buddy is a tab and bookmark manager that allows you to:
● Save open tabs as collections that can be easily restored later. Great for freeing up memory and avoiding clutter.
● Recover your open tabs after a crash.
● See and manage all open tabs in one place.
● Search collections to quickly find what you're looking for.

- Please add a default sorting function, I would like to always see at the top Thank you!
- Dawn Bomb
- I see the dev responds to reviews. - On the left bar, when right clicking a collection, can we get a option to save / overwrite with CURRENT WINDOW'S TABS. - Similarly, when the collection is selected, you have a big open button (good), can we also geta big chunky save CURRENT WINDOW'S TABS. - If you disagree on if it's useful, make it a toggle in settings. - You have an option when right clicking a Collection to move to top. Can you add the ability to drag drop the collections to move them up and down and organize them? (Also, its weird theres a button to move to top but none for move to bottom, but regardless drag dropping them is way better). - I don't think i would use it, but please add drag dropping tabs instead of asking us to Alt Arrowkey to move them.
- Jon “Jon”
- Does not have synchronization? Lol absurd.

- As someone who's prone to accumulating way too many tabs, this extension is a godsend - can finally close tabs with the peace of mind knowing that in principle, I can find them again. (If I'm going to be honest with myself, 7/10 times I'll probably never need to open it again, but knowing I'll be able to find it when it really matters is what lets me let go of the tabs in the first place.) Aside from the organization benefits, it helps me bring my RAM usage down enough to where my PC fan stops sounding like a helicopter.

- Session Buddy seems to lack drag and drop for reorder of tabs. This is often a fast way to organise things.... I currently am testinig three tab managers at once: Session Buddy, Tabxpert and Tabmanager.io the last two have all the functions of Session Buddy but also allow drag and drop reorder of tabs....
- sodlock
- It doesn't recognize tab name while searching. It only reads tab address. Others are great.
- Alex Fowler
- It's great, but there's one super annoying problem. It should be pretty easy to fix so dev please do this if you can. The issue is that if in the list of open tabs you keep carefully reading and selecting the tabs which you plan to close or save, and at some point you accidentally click outside of the column with the tick boxes, BAM! ALL YOUR SELECTION IS RESET. Have you selected 10? 20? 50? ALL GONE, do it again! And again if you misclick again! This is infuriating and it kills the otherwise perfectly working feature. You literally need to select and delete in small groups to work around this, which is a lot of unnecessary work. Proposed solution: Instead of resetting everything by a misclick, just add a separate button "Unselect All" at the top. And maybe a setting into the settings "unselect everything on misclick" for those who for some unimaginable reason might be finding the existing behavior useful.

- Please add sync functionality as well.

- Absolute LIFESAVER saving all my tabs after google's cataclysmic screw up of removing "experimental" tab scrolling. I can't imagine why every other browser seems to have tab scrolling EXCEPT CHROME....TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY BTW. Anyway, saved all the tabs I had from my other PC, exported to a file (cause it only saves locally), put on usb, transferred to other PC, voila, they're all there, catalogued so I can go back through them. After I'm finished with this, I'm leaving chrome for firefox, still cant believe they dont have scrolling tabs. Get this extension, 5/5

- Want to be able to rename window groups. Currently all are labelled as 'windows' it is confusing If I can change group color, will be even better
- Francis Bork
- Okay ext. As for me, I prefer Tabrover because it doesn't require an internet connection and is simpler. It also works better as a homepage.
- Don Van
- a must have extension to save many tabs opening, if possibly have sync function it will be perfect
- Google M2
- developer has implemented a constant spyware like behavior for the extension, which CALLS HOME to the developers web server with IP ADDRESS & PERSISTENT IDENTIFIER unique to the browser & machine it's installed on, every 24 hours. It appears to be for a "configuration check", but the developer should have no need to isolate this down to each user and aggressively poll every 24 hours. Developer has been given no permission to remotely deploy config changes to the extension, but it is baked in. Regardless of using VPN, moving around etc. this developer gets to know every 24hrs, your unique IP address and gets to track you down to your specific machine. Huge privacy violation.

- Occasional snapshots Session Buddy took saved my life <3
- Ray
- Oh the awful heart sickening disappointment when you realize all your previous sessions disappeared and evaporated into thin air. Would not bother with this program unless you want extra stress. Saving sessions of info or searches is time and energy wasted if you lose it without warning.
- Dylan Devens
- should be default on chrome, able to restore sessions that would otherwise be lost.
- Elias K.
- I am super disappointed. I have used Session Buddy for over a year and it was excellent, but suddenly today I opened it to save a session and realized all my saved sessions from the last year are gone. I haven't changed anything, so losing all my work without any warning or reason is devastating. Is there any way to recover this data? I would love to change my review if this can be fixed, but right now I am very frustrated

- The best thing on chrome!
- Nidhi Agrawal
- Session Buddy was working great for me until a couple of months ago. But one day my browser (chrome) crashed and to my surprise all the data inside Session Buddy was also gone. I had years of data saved in it and everything is gone now. Could you please tell me if there is any way to restore my data. It will be of great help. THANKS.
- Andrey Evtushenko
- When restoring tabs from previous session functionality leaves town, session buddy is must have
- R R
- When the browser crashed and failed. Session Buddy also failed, and I wasn't able to restore the old sessions.
- Avery
- Doesnt save tabs across computers. At that point it's useless as you can just use your history tab to reopen tabs.
- Candise Tu
- I was in the middle of writing an email when a blue screen with a smiley face and unrecoverable error appeared and my laptop shut itself down and restarted. Of course everything was closed and Chrome didn't have anything acknowledging the browser and my million tabs closed abruptly. Fortunately, I was able to open Session Buddy and it had taken a snapshot from 20 mins. ago. I am just now discovering this function and guess it's fortunate that this doesn't come up that often. The link to make a donation didn't work though...
- Arpeggio Blues
- button appeared said it was "NEW" but I had it, so I followed it.. ya know what happened, it deletes ALL the sessions you saved, if you remove the tool and then add it back? So all those things I had are gone.. yeah.. your say it can restore a backup, but doesn't do that automatically save backups like a Digital Audio Workstation.. (imagine losing a full recording session, because a tool didn't automatically make saves????? periodic SAVES for all your work).I just assumed software developers understood that by default, back up your work, well, why don't YOU help?? GRRRRR
- Eric
- Please make backup automatic. There is no reason for this extension unless it offers a rock solid auto-backup.
- Kevin M
- Used to be great. Firefox then disabled it recently and now in Chrome it has become unusable after recent update. At this point it is so unreliable as to be USELESS and I don't have time to debug it any further. Please save this tool before I find something to replace it.
- nasty nate
- Really annoying trying to add to your collection! Copy and past links one by one .
- Chantal Ekwee
- been with me since 3 years ago. I enjoy it!!! thanks to the dev that it's free!
- J K (Jae)
- It used to be a good plugin until the developer released a bugged update that causes the browser to crash then seemingly has abandoned the plugin. The proper thing to do would have been to immediately issue an update that disabled the automatic backup feature since there doesn't seem to be a way to disable that feature in options.
- Jon E (jagged)
- The best bookmark manager out there, I've tried them all. This one is the only one that doesn't violate your privacy or sell your data, and offers the most complete functionality.
- desafiar suerte
- This Session Buddy extension crashes my browser every single night at 3AM without exception. It’s a constant, reproducible failure that has been reported repeatedly by users, yet the developer continues to ignore it. No fixes, no accountability - just a broken extension causing daily browser crashes. Despites early time before the Session Buddy was good extension, but now completely unacceptable. No "buddy" more

- Just discovered this today. Should've discovered it sooner. Major time saver. Works as advertised.
- Anonymous
- Doesn't open as a connected group like the ONCE-USEFUL onetab used to before it got mutilated by new ownership :(
- Anonymous
- The greatest bookmarks manager out there!
- Anonymous
- Saves me every time I need to come back to my workstation. Thank you.

- Please use chrome.tabs.discard() on tabs after opening them!!! No one who is opening 100 tabs NEEDS all 100 tabs to be loaded into memory at the exact same time! It takes forever opening each tab one by one and fails when you're opening 100+ tabs, it used to work flawlessly and many many other extensions are able to open hundreds of tabs instantly with no problem. I've tried all the different settings, it makes no difference. No other extension has this problem!

- Its a great tool. The only functionality I ask to make it perfect for my workflow is to add the "Replace with tabs in current window" option. There is a "Replace with current session" but it will replace with all tabs in all windows, not what I want.

- Awesome little tool; it's one of those things one thinks should be an integral part of any browser that's not willing to ruin its users' lifes (well, maybe I am exaggerating, but if you have organized dozens/hundreds of URLs and all of a sudden you accidentally close the browser or -worse- there is a power outage and your desktop computer shuts down, you know what I am talking about); on top of that, the quality/price ratio is unbeatable ( :

- Easy to use and very helpful I miss the option of adding a name for a saved session. Now all saved sessions have untitled.
- Anonymous
- I think this add-on is excellently written. I've switched to it from my other long-time tab manager. I'm sorry some of you have had trouble with it, but it's always a good idea to use the Export feature to back up your sessions, as you'd back up any important personal data. You should never keep just one copy of anything.

- Why did all my collections disappear after the update?! I had sever years worth of them!
- Anonymous
- 3AM bug crash my browser everyday. Any workaround?
- Anonymous
- says it manages bookmarks, but in the list of features, bookmarks are not mentioned.
- Anonymous
- There's gotta be some way to inform the user "repairing" clears everything. That's a big kick in the teeth.
- Anonymous
- Amazing thank you!

What happened? When update installed its icons (especially the gear icon, to mean present session settings) did not show up. Closed open page nothing. After i tried ANOTHER session restorer that i did not like, in removing that one and going to session buddy to remove it too, all of a sudden the icons showed up and works great. (the 1star changed to 5star) ...fingers crossed after i either close browser [much later] or restart compu'r that the icons are still there.

- Another update, another instance of my entire collection gone. Totally unreliable and if you are not constantly exporting a saved file daily, you are at risk at losing everything. Use at your own caution.

- Absolutely AMAZING FREE app that's an absolute must have for any browser. Incredibly easy to use and it is so much better than just using bookmarks (especially for each and every tab open) and tab/window management. It's also a fantastic for not just saving but actually being able to open all your tabs on any computer Mac or Windows by just emailing yourself the export file. Is also great for organizing work, windows versus social media or listing products like I do and also keeping all my research organized as well. (even with tags now!). I was even able to cancel my old session manager extension as this one is better and is free too, which is incredible. I bought the developer a coffee and then some, 10/10 would recommend!

- This extension causes my browser to collapse every single night. It’s a nonstop, daily problem.
