When I first installed it, it worked perfectly. A few hours later, it didn't work anymore. I don't really know how to feel about that.

Did block comments, but displayed a bunch of ads, including above my playlists (forcing them down the screen) and on top of the videos! Ads are worse than comments! Shameful that this would be the solution without any mention of ads. I have ad blockers installed for a reason.

Works great, straightforward, I can remove just the recommended videos.

Does exactly what it says, and is the only way I've found outside scripting in adblockers to hide the generally god-awful Chat full of explicit porn ad bots without having to click every time on every live music stream. May 2022

Doesn't really work well. It worked immediately after installation, but then a couple hours later it didn't work again. A week or so later and several restarts later, it had no effect whatsoever on my YouTube videos, they appeared as normal. I uninstalled it, went to leave a review and it said I had to install the extension to leave a review. Well after re-installing it, it works again. But last time it only worked for a very short time, so I don't have much faith on this being reliable.

It's nice, but................... Can you make the Live Chat and the chat after the stream is over, to just Collapse, instead of fully hiding it? Meaning, leave the buttons as they are, so we can get back the chat if we need to. Please! Because if we need the chat, we have to disable the option and reload the page.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ You can do a similar thing for comments as well. But in their case, you can make a button on the page, to hide/unhide them.

Great extension but as others have said, requires a page refresh for the chat block to work. version 1.4.1

Only works when it's not in full screen autoplay mode. Doesn't actually hide the chat box itself, but it does stop the chat in general, so I can't complain about that, but it's a heads up for anyone else who does install it. Decent extension. I'd recommend for those who doesn't fall asleep with YT full screened.

Does what it says, makes YouTube so much cleaner and easier to use with fewer distractions. Thank you!

A few years ago, there were only programs that removed comments. I wanted to remove things that were disturbing my life, and this deals with them all. It's a pity that this kind of thing didn't come out before. Thank you so much.

Live chat bugs me. It's distracting, and once you start reading to always end up headdesking. Name seemed solid, pictures in store suggest you can select parts to disable. NOPE. Just nukes all the listed parts. Far WORSE : it re-enables advertising. And on that point : since when are there TWO ads?! x^6

Doesn't work

The extension was working perfectly, but for whatever reason, it no longer works nearly as well. The comments, that were previously blocked, now show up, and I need to refresh the page to get them to disappear, which is annoying. There appears to have been an update recently, and I wonder if that's why it no longer works.

Watch out! This extension has a bug... it accidentally hides the "Manage Membership" button on the Paid Memberships page (https://www.youtube.com/paid_memberships), so it's not possible to change your Youtube Premium billing details.

Broke my YouTube entirely

It broken the filters/like & dislike buttons (they no longer exist with this extension).

Hiding Likes/Dislikes is hiding the "filter" button in the search result menu.. hope you fix it soon.. great extension nonetheless!

Without this addon I was constantly wasting my time on reading comments and watching new videos in "Related" section - now I feel like a free man. P.S. At first I was thinking that my youtube broken when the like/dislike buttons dissapeared, but when I noticed a new checkbox in this addon I realized that this is what I needed all this time - now I'm totally free from other's opinion - just me and certain content I'm came for. Huge thank you!
