Logged into Slack, and began to use the app. At the end of the day I wound up removing all messages manually. I did read about the python scripts but didn't want to have to deal with a token without reading the script to make sure it was all fine --- thats not to say that this app is safe just because its on the Chrome web store; but more so that it reminded me that I should take a pause on using these types of apps. Anyway, don't waste your time or your money (I did the $2 but not worth disputing either)

Now it asks me to pay $2 more to get functionality that I already paid $5 for. Not gonna pay more money for something that I already paid for. Plus, there is literally no way to contact the dev. Also, it doesn't work at all as an unpaid version -- so I'm not even sure that paying $2 more will cause things to work. Lame.
