Manga Notifier
Notifies you about new manga chapters released.
Manga Notifier lets you know when a new chapter of your favourite manga is released.
Currently supported online manga websites:
- mangafox.me
- mangareader.net
Usage:
Browse to a manga page, click Manga Notifier icon and add the manga to watched manga list.
Update (27 Oct 2012):
- fixed problems with both mangafox and mangareader
- added a page where you can see the list of currently watched manga (go to extension's options)

Useful but has many problems that have been there for years : titles with special characters (dash, comma, etc.) can't be watched, sometimes you just won't get notified when new chapters come out or get notified without the chapter actually being out.

Its a really good extension, but sometimes it wont notify me on some of the mangas im trying to follow. every so often ill notice that it hasnt been updating me on a series and ive missed several weeks. i just had to catch up on 2 months worth of 3 series that it had failed to notify me on. while still giving updates on other series

Cool little app to help keep track of manga. It looks like if the title of the manga has special characters in it (brackets, dashes, etc), it doesn't work for mangafox

very simple yet helpful. would be better if once we clicked on the one of the notifier then it deleted once and for all. a bit of work to delete them later. other than that this plugin is fun. haha. please change the icon.

It's very simple and feature-lite but works very reliably and doesn't try to force me to share it on facebook.

The best app of this series was Mangareader... but sadly it was taken down by Google. Trying a lot of different apps that do not work I crossed with this one. It is really nice. it works exactly as it says. I would like to be able to customize the mini icon sinde I do not like it.

i love this. it watches all the mangas i ask it to. but its no longer working for manga fox? if i go to a page it doesn't say "watch x manga" it just says to go to a manga page. please fix.?

It works very well for me:) I love the idea, but I wish I could change the icon or that it was a simpler icon, it kind of annoys me. And of course that it doesn't support all the manga reading sites. Also I wish I could just watch a manga and get told when/ where it first is updated no matter which site is fastest. If that was understandable, sorry english isn't my first language^^'
