- (2025-07-03) Anri Ako: Before it was possible to block centrain website part as example "youtube.com/shorts" but now you can only block "youtube.com" and if try "youtube.com/shorts" restriction does not apply to anything. Really sad that cannot block only part like before.
- (2025-06-30) Shaye Horwitz: Like others have said, all my Google searches with this extension active are now being redirected to Yahoo via some other domain like finditonlinenow.com. I don't know if it was the 0.3.4 or 0.3.5 update that did it, but this extension is definitely the culprit. Maybe this wasn't intentional, but if not, please find out why and fix it.
- (2025-06-27) Andrew: I’ve tried a few productivity extensions, but this one really stands out. The website blocker does exactly what I need, it keeps me off distracting sites during work hours, and the built-in timer helps me stay on track with focused work sessions. It’s simple to use, effective, and hasn’t caused any issues. Definitely worth installing if you’re trying to build better habits and get more done!
- (2025-06-25) Aurelio de Miguel Vasallo: Now its horrible For every search they redirect you to yahoo search through finditonline... This extension used to be good!
- (2025-06-24) David Wolfe: A simple extension that immediately blocks the website, unlike some extensions which are delayed in blocking the website (thereby allowing you to take a quick glimpse of the website's content). I also appreciate you can just add site links to the blacklist, other extensions require you to visit the site in order to block it from there. Edit 24th of June 2025: I'm very disappointed to find that in addition to adding the timer (which is now disabled by default), the previous 5 star positive review I've written is no longer applicable because even if the timer is disabled the website will still load for a second before actually being blocked. Furthermore, the 'options' menu is now gone (I can't find it anymore, before it used to just be click on the extension and it'll reveal various buttons, but now instead it just shows the timer options and 'Block Site'). Now, you're not able to input site addresses manually. Instead, now you have to visit the site to add it to block. This is an issue because I have a txt file containing a lot of addresses I want to block now that I got a new computer (also, I'd prefer NOT to visit the sites to begin with).
- (2025-06-24) M N: Timer should be disabled by default. Edit: Thanks for fixing this. changed my rating to 5 stars.
- (2025-06-23) Bilal Bakht Ahmad: They're redirecting searches to different websites now.
- (2025-06-18) Siva Kumar: Latest post: Seems now they have removed the timer. excellent extension. Old post: I don't want the annoying popup of timer. please give us option of disabling that timer popup. the old plain version of JUST blocking the websites is good enough. Disabling the extension meanwhile. If this is not corrected within a week, I will uninstall the extension and use some other.
- (2025-06-18) aldy: thanks, the extension is very great edit: new update is trash
- (2025-06-16) Ariel Newman: annoying time tab...
- (2025-06-14) Sello Sithole: Came here to check reviews about this annoying and useless Time in Tab..
- (2025-06-14) Swift Kordyne: Used to be good, but it is now impossible to customize any settings and there is an obtrusive, worthless "time in tab" popup. My blocklist also appears to have been wiped as I can access sites I had previously blocked.
- (2025-06-14) Jesse Williams: I don't remember installing this, I never use it, and now there's an obtrusive pop up on every page thanks to it. Not even an option in the settings to turn the timer off (only the entire extension). Even if there was an option to turn it off, it 100% should not be on by default. Deleting this malware on and not looking back
- (2025-06-14) --: What's the great idea to add a productivity timer that has nothing to do with the original purpose (and nobody asked for) and don't even include a toggle to disable it?
- (2025-06-13) Jared Kibler: Get rid of the productivity timer. Literally nobody downloaded this extension for that.
- (2025-06-13) mr. korblox: it has the timer that tracks time spend with your apps so its getting annoying and I don't recommend this at all.
- (2025-06-13) Absent Phantom (Peridot): This extension just added a Productivity Timer/Tracker that pops up in the bottom right corner of new tabs. I do not want this and cannot find a way to turn it off. Unfortunately the only way to remove it is to turn off the extension.
- (2025-06-13) Kyler Greer: No option to remove the new timer popup
- (2025-06-13) Nick M: Not going to give this one star because in the past this extension worked well, but still: the new June 13 update effectively broke this extension. No way to change blocker settings from one screen, and the new tab timer is impossible to turn off by default. Please fix, disabling this extension in the meantime.
- (2025-06-13) Jason Quey: The popup timer is annoying and dont want it. Also frustrating you can no longer change the website blocker settings. Otherwise a great app before recent changes.
- (2025-06-13) Sean Long: The pop up timer is so annoying and no way to turn it off while using the block site feature. Uninstalling and looking for something else now.
- (2025-06-13) B: The pop up timer is so annoying and no way to turn it off while using the block site feature. Uninstalling and looking for something else now.
- (2025-06-13) Zodi: It was a good extension before... but now, it shows a timer on each page. And you can't turn this off. I'll use another extension, which just blocks sites. I don't need timers etc.
- (2024-11-19) Blue Wallpaper: don't work
- (2024-08-24) Niall Vaz: Would give it a 5 but it won't work with specific links of a website. Eg. You are trying to avoid a youtuber, you can't just link their channel specifically, it doesn't work like that. But it's free and unlimited as far as I know, so, if there was an option for 4.5 stars I'd totally give it that
- (2024-06-21) R i (ker): I've used this service for a while now. Very simple, very useful completely free. Other services like blocksite are a total bloat fests.
- (2024-05-03) cuerans: very good and the best extension ever used. But is it possible to make it protective so that before a user decides to turn it off or uninstall they must enter a password else it won't uninstall. thanks alot
- (2024-04-07) Ayushman Parida: Simple and easy to navigate.
- (2024-01-08) Sam Taylor: Great simple tool, no faff
- (2023-10-27) Tri Le: Very good. It is a useful tool to enhance the productivity.

- (2022-10-17) JJC: I've never written a review for anything before, but this one I just had to. I am addicted to certain websites like Youtube and could not figure out a way to block myself from them (aside from self-discipline of course). I have had this extension for about an hour or so now, and it has worked like an absolute charm. Thank you very much for this, developers! Here is a nice picture to redirect to when you open a blocked website: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a1/0d/a8/a10da817d366fcb8fed801529c8ab198.jpg
