- (2025-07-14) Ferenc Moricz: Very useful extension. With one missing feature: as I use it to change to some kind of "Printing mode" layout it would be nice to provide preset support. I would then create an "Everything" preset for the unfiltered experience and some presets for printing (e.g "BBC Print" to remove unnecessary footer section with cover images and links to other articles.
- (2025-06-26) Vantropix: I don't write reviews. However, this extension is so incredibly good and useful i just have to write a review for it. I have been using this for several years at this point and LET ME TELL YOU, i could never go back, this is completely essential for me. So many websites have tons of buttons that i would never ever ever use, they would just sit there, wasting space, taking mental energy looking for what i'm actually interested in, maybe there's 30 tabs but i only need 2 of those, just get rid of them. youtube wants you to make videos? NO cloud storage has buttons asking you to add more storage? NO no more, one click it's gone forever. So, so, SO nice, thank you for making this
- (2025-06-26) Oleksander Dudar: 1) Add an option to quickly toggle it on/off 2) Why I can see elements disappear every time I refresh the page? uBlock Origin did the same in an absolutely seemless way, you won’t even know something was removed
- (2025-06-04) Stephan Koenig: Works great, I use this every day.
- (2025-06-01) Louie googlema: lets u finally remove the AI overview BS from google search (👆u google)
- (2025-05-28) macroing: exactly what i was looking for and it works perfectly thanks!!!
- (2025-05-25) Amazing Ameya: Best Manifest V3 content blocker. I use it alongside uBO Lite (uBOL). Since the latest updates now it's more easier to remove multiple elements in a row. Thanks for this Matúš (The Developer). Sometimes and only "sometimes" when there's an update to this extension, all my saves are lost, and this needs to be fixed. As I believe this a great product! that Matúš has developed, for us MV3 users migrating from UBO.
- (2025-05-23) Flippa_da_Boss: what happened to all my saved removed elements? they disappeared overnight across all websites (yes, the checkbox for save is toggled, and they were saved and working for over a year until now). edit (24/5/25): all my saves are lost again on restart. Please fix this.
- (2025-05-09) 秋葉杏介: Very good. If you haven't implemented this feature, I tend to do it. There is a one thing I don't like so much is the color is set to red. I prefer more culm color like light green, light blue... Shortcut is also good! いい拡張だにゃん
- (2025-05-01) Hary: Superb extension.
- (2025-05-01) Rocket Cello: Excellent at dealing with ads or popups
- (2025-04-24) ניצן יחזקאל: this is amazing!!!!! the only bad thing about it is that it doesnt work outside of chrome
- (2025-04-14) Spaders: Directions easy to follow and worked first time!
- (2025-04-13) YaBoiElprup: can't be used on Google's New Tab page but is otherwise useful for removing annoying things (like the AI overviews)!
- (2025-03-23) Chen Markson: The single most useful extension I have installed in a year. I want to buy you a coffee.
- (2025-03-18) Daren Bolivar: Works, just what I needed.
- (2025-03-15) Cal Cool: Saves what I want to remove 👍
- (2025-03-12) Tom Wright: Excellent extension, one of my favourites
- (2025-03-07) Eugeny Berezhny: Good. But it does not work inside iframe.
- (2025-02-22) Android Maximo: It was great, now has a nagging screen demanding acess to all sites, on each use I want to config an extension like this to work "when you click the extension" Don´t want it to have access to my Gmail screen etc But if you use this config, it always demand access to all sites and doen´t work There are many extensions that Remove Element, I am using now "Remove HTML Elements", that complies with the setting to activate only when you click on the extension If you don´t mind this extension being always on and acessing all sites, it works great
- (2025-02-16) Can it be Applied: Works exactly as advertised. Very happy with it.
- (2025-01-20) SReza S: Meets all the expectations. Please also add ability to directly add elements by their class name or id.
- (2025-01-18) Daniel King: Excellent and intuitive extension with a lightweight, well-designed interface. The only minor issue is that removed elements briefly flash during page load. Overall, outstanding work - thank you, developer.
- (2025-01-14) Kaizo Chaos: exactly what I was looking for.
- (2024-11-22) A Plaisted: ChatGPT kills the UI so you can't do anything. I should say you get to remove one element, but that's it. After that you can't do anything and up with repeat elements when trying to click options of removed elements. It would be nice to have an options page where you can view removed elements by domain, click their options and/or edit them. It does no good to see them on a webpage where you can't interact with any of the element options. Otherwise great extension.
- (2024-11-13) thegees: i want to remove the ai overview thing from google but the extension doesn't open on the google domain. were you paid off?
- (2024-11-10) Vladimiru Ymiru: Tremendous :)
- (2024-10-25) Alex: It resolved my old (new) problem with 'Scroll for details' that's appeared in YouTube recently. It was annoying in my personal usage case and I tried to remove this html element with Adguard buil-in 'Remove ads manually' but unfortunately. This extension helped me a lot! Thanks!
- (2024-10-07) Shahroz Asad PCSSMD: Like a Charming Star Perfectly Working for annoying elements for webpages Temporarily and Permanently. 5/5 Stars
- (2024-10-03) ꧁ㄗRロ༒бタɱモR꧂: There should be an option to select whether the element should actually be deleted from the html page instead of just hiding it, like it normally does.
- (2024-09-29) 0 2 G: Cosmetic Blocker Not a network blocker
- (2024-09-29) Andi K: Great extension with easy element hierarchy navigation. Missing features: 1) Saved rules are synchronized in the same way as extensions are synchronized across a Chrome user account. (It is not possible to union exports from different clients by importing several files.) 2) One click toggling of all removed elements (to assert no important content is hidden).
- (2024-09-24) Sh: Missing an option to export and import JSON data Edit: Although it doesn't work as bulk export of all site, thank you anyway for adding single export and imports!
- (2024-09-24) Sh: Missing an option to export and import JSON data Edit: Although it doesn't work as bulk export of all site, thank you anyway for adding single export and imports!
- (2024-09-13) Roman Klyujkov: Perfect. Thank you
- (2024-09-11) Zayan Allana: Genuinely love this extension it gets rid of anything I don't want 5 out of 5
- (2024-09-10) Peter Amir: For those who can't click "Space" button while using the extension. Install this user-script : https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/507758-disable-scrolling-when-tapping-on-space-button
- (2024-09-08) Kasey Clark: Works wonders on some sites.
- (2024-08-28) tails wails: Just to clarify, this gets rid of annoying elements on a page. Its not an adblocker. It IS a good extension.
- (2024-08-27) Anil Bapna: Was looking for an idiot-proof (read..) ad-blocker. the ones that say "it just works." aren't good enough
- (2024-08-26) Kamil Rizatdinov: Works smoothly! I am using it in order to make screenshots and delete redundant elements from the page
- (2024-08-25) Pushkar Gupta: Excellent extension by developer...Would also love if you add a css feature like moving elements up and down
- (2024-07-30) Simi: Exactly what I needed!
- (2024-07-27) George Kolasa: Excellent. Really like that it freezes the page too (great for getting elements in tricky dropdown lists that go away if you click away). Just wish it was using sync storage instead of local storage for backing up the settings (so I could use it everywhere more easily).
- (2024-07-26) M R: It works. And it remembers your settings... and shows you the items you've hidden. None of the other extensions I've tried worked like this!
- (2024-07-23) Christopher Lutz: I just ran across this extension. It is awesome to get back web browser area from advertisements. I use outlook.com and able to hide several things to get more viewing area. Great Job!!
- (2024-07-23) Jakseen: This is my most used chrome plugin so far.
- (2024-06-09) JR: 5 Stars may be coming - This is like a quicker way instead of 'Inspecting' a page. When you 'Inspect' a page by right click context menu, and then have to drill down and around the page, and then remove that element, this just makes the whole process quicker. I only put 4 stars right now, but after I use it for a week or two, I'll come back and adjust rating based on any thing I find. Thank you guys - good work.
- (2024-05-24) wdff ifdwi0ek: easy to use; i immediately removed the recommendations from youtube without any problems unlike other extensions
- (2024-05-17) Peter Fitzgerald: Let me quickly and easily get rid of the AI Overview in Google Search results. The Q/W shortcuts for moving between layers is a great touch.
