This feature is totally business-critical - my company is virtual and my team is scattered throughout the world. Old version worked great, especially as I use Gmail and Google Calendar as an "App" on my Mac (URL -> Chrome Options -> Cast, Save and Share -> Install Page as App) to easily switch back and forth between my other applications, email and calendar. The new version, however, simply doesn't open or work in the "App" experience, meaning my productivity and way of working has plummeted. Please look into how you get the extension to work in the "App" experience!

The old version worked really well for many years but now the new version is full of bugs and the whole team is being affected and the data from logging is not reliable anymore. Please fix this as soon as possible. In addition, Calendar events is not supported in this new version.

Been using the older one for years without issues. This new version does not allow any other records to be logged and only will allow a lead or a contact record to accept the activity. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

We use this exclusively for logging Gmail activity to Records. It worked pretty good before SF changed it to a dedicated Chrome Extension a few months ago. The extension worked well for 2 weeks until it didn't. No matter the TS steps, any attempt to record an email to a record results in this error "This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. First, would you give us some details? (We're reporting this as error ID: -1046071845)" PLEASE FIX THIS!

This is the worst google extension I have ever used. The old version worked like a charm, and this latest update is truly terrible. I have to refresh my email and close and open the pinned extension bar 5 times each to get one email to upload and correctly log. Unreal that this hasn't been fixed as these bugs have been happening to me and my colleagues for 2 months consistently.

The new Chrome sidebar worked for my team for like a day and then we have been unable to use it since then. We get the 404 "URL no longer exists" error when we try to log in. For now we have had to uninstall it and continue using the within-Gmail plug-in, which works, which is why I'm giving two stars.

An excellent and useful extension. The only reason this is not 5 stars is becasue it cannot be used by two different people on a shared email account. When tried, the extension bypassed security restrictions, and logged my coworker into my Salesforce account. If this is fixed it's an easy 5/5.

Like others have said, when this tool was a Gmail extension it was pretty consistent and generally worked as expected. The Chrome extension is hot garbage that was clearly released too early. My team experiences frequent callback errors, issues logging to cases and issues getting the extension to select the active email. You have to wonder if there's any connection to the CEO bragging about not hiring software engineers anymore.

Half the time the connector doesn't work and when it does it doesn't always log to the correct accounts. Additionally half the time the case names do not show up or they show the wrong case names. Can't say that we love it at the moment.

Easy to keep using Gmail and still log the emails. It just disconnects once in a while. Clear cache and cookies and then up and running again!

This was previously a very useful tool, but the new update has caused all sorts of issues. Users have had to completely remove and re-add the extension, along with clearing their cache and cookies. There is also a bug where sent emails no longer log unless the user manually logs it from their Sent Items. The fact it doesn't support the Gmail app any longer is frustrating to many of our users too.

They need an urgent fix because the latest version's "New Side Panel" always results in a “URL No Longer Exists” error :-( Only workaround for now is to remove and re-add the extension, refresh your gmail, log into salesforce, and then !!!! click the BACK button until you get to the initial "This side panel is moving" window, and there click "Maybe later" !!!!

This extension absolutely sucks. I have been using the gmail extension as part of google workspace for years but I was forced to switch to this chrome version and it rarely loads there is no way to collapse it you leave it open or close it and it no longer defaults to the correct account when I am in an email. I already hate updating SF this makes it so much harder

Users are struggling with the tool after their latest update. It is crashing every now and then and is so random that when tickets are raised, it starts working by the time someone responds from the support team. Please leave the option to use the old version forever.
