- (2023-11-18) Andrew Berks: Provides a valuable feature but appears to be buggy. When running my gmail was laggy - there was a perceptible delay between characters in messages and typing. It was very annoying. Disabling this extension fixed the problem. I've had other defects, like losing the cursor within email messages, requiring a reload of the mail window. I'm not sure if that was caused by this app. Chrome on Windows 11 v 119.0.6045.160
- (2023-10-25) Donald Scattergood: Where oh where has this been all my life? It's a HUGE time saver for me in long support conversations.
- (2023-10-12) Bertie Munn: The functionality is great and works exactly how you would want it to. However, everyday the extension becomes corrupted and I have to repair or reinstall it in Chrome for it to function again
- (2023-10-06) Alberto Silva: It is great, just fine, thank you!
- (2023-09-12) Nikhil Waghulkar: It's a great extension, but when I select 'Reply/Reply All' at the top, browser automatically goes to the bottom of the mail conversation. Could you please fix that?
- (2023-08-17) Mark Donne: Not sure why this isn't a part of Gmail yet, but I'm so thankful for this extension.
- (2023-08-10) Cameron Rushton: Absolutely amazing. So glad I found this. I have Gmail downloaded as PWA and it works great!
- (2023-07-07) Joe Reichlin: This is such a great extension. I can't believe that it not a standard for Gmail. It has worked flawlessly for me. I could not be more pleased!!

- (2023-03-16) Adam Sadian: Who doesn't want to see their newest messages at the top. I've been using this for years. Works like a charm.
- (2023-02-02) April Rivera: This extension is a LIFE SAVER now that Gmail did the new update. Love it!
- (2023-01-25) Jesus Mejia: Finally enjoying the conversation view!
- (2023-01-21) Rick Schieck (Rick): I LOVE this extension. The automatic scroll to the bottom was an issue for me too but thanks to Aliahn Sharpley's tip I am once again a happy camper. It works great. Thanks Aliahn Sharpley.
- (2023-01-17) Jay B: should be built in to gmail... Thank you 🙏
- (2022-12-09) Aliahn Amir: I agree with the above, it's very good to have emails at the top however the reply button does mess it up... until the FIX it I have a semi-temporary fix When you hit reply and it scrolls all the way down - I have found that if I press ONE key, and start typing, it will skip back up to the body of the email you are replying to. Hope it helps
- (2022-11-10) Michele Jotti: Super useful!
- (2022-10-20) Rebecca A Pobutkiewicz: I'm having the same issue as many of the recent reviewers. Clicking reply now takes me to the bottom of the thread and I have to scroll back up.
- (2022-10-17) Jordan Learmonth: When I hit reply it scrolls down to a random location
- (2022-10-06) Lee Scholl: Clicking reply causes the screen to jump to the bottom of the newest message requiring you to scroll back up to type your message. Very annoying.
- (2022-08-23) Robert Shamblin: was excellent, now only okay...they messed up the view recently. Now when hit reply it throws you down in the middle of the thread randomly and you have to always scroll back up to the top to find and get to the new email you are trying to create...frustrating!
- (2022-08-11) Adam Cohen: Was working great and then suddenly when I hit on reply it now takes me to the bottom of the page and I am having to scroll back to the top to view the reply box. I have tried on different screen sizes and still the same error. Any fix in sight Dev?
- (2022-07-25) alo net: it is something increadible!... you can't find the last mail when it comes to big thread and complex mails conversations'!.. and even this extension does not help since gmail is something not in good techie guy's interest!....
- (2022-04-26) Kuyper Hoffman: Does what it says on the tin, however it also jumps my browser page focus way down in the conversation (particularly bad on deep threads) requiring me to scroll all the way up to the compose window. Totally agree that this should be an intrinsic option on the gmail settings, so thanks for at least providing the feature. Please look into the focus issue; I'll up rating to 5 starts when that's fixed.
- (2022-03-18) Heather Martin: YES! Instantly (well, almost) fixed the super annoying problem. Bravo! I will repeat here the advice to turn conversations view off and then back on for the extension to take effect.
- (2022-03-11) Manatea Bresson: Very good but It often put my view a little bit down automatically so I often have to scroll up to see what I'm typing. Any solution ? Other then that it's great =)
- (2022-03-09) Krzysztof Dawidowicz: Rewelka - tyle mnie ten gmail denerwował - i tak myślę czy jest coś co potrafi odwrócić kolejność wątków poczty - i jest - dzięki działa to super
- (2022-03-04) Quan Nguyen Tran: Very helpful, 5 stars. But why Gmail does not have the conversation reverse view options?
- (2022-03-02) Steve Branson: Absolutely perverse that this is even needed. Google has dragged enterprise office software back to the stone age.
- (2022-02-15) Darrel Francis: Brilliantly simple! Google should have had it built in. But wonderful that someone has made this, without Javascript, and has open-sourced it. Thank you!
- (2022-01-23) Matthew Yang: Thank you so much!
- (2022-01-02) Gromosław Kroczka: Just works! Recommend.
- (2021-12-20) Corinne Mitchell: This works well and does exactly what it says it will. Makes gmail easier to use!
- (2021-09-27) Mel McMurrin: Absolutely critical extension. Google should pay you for fixing their innanity and maintaning this gem.
- (2021-08-26) Chad Martini: Works as intended! For those wondering, in the instructions link provided on the extension page it states that this extension does NOT collect any data, which is wonderful. https://gitlab.com/redribbon/gmail-reverse/blob/master/README.md#privacy-policy
- (2021-08-20) TJ: Stopped working recently in Gmail.
- (2021-08-13) Chan Co: Perfect.
- (2021-07-27) Handsome Jason: Its useless in gmail interface, nothing changes
- (2021-07-17) Serge Fabre: This extension doesn't do anything it just runs in the background and ahs no functionality to it. It seems to be working for others but not me.
- (2021-06-24) Adam Ainsworth: Perfect - exactly what I wanted. Whoever design the default Gmail experience must have been an idiot.
- (2021-06-17) Muhammad Hamdan Afridi: THAT'S THE POINT I HATE IT!
- (2021-05-25) Ken Gladstone: As a long-long-longtime Outlook user, I've always hated the Gmail web interface, and now I know why! Who wants newer messages at the bottom?!?! This extension is a Godsend! I wish I'd known about it ages ago! Thank you a million times over!
- (2021-04-22) Vinay Kumar M: This is very helpful Thanks a lot :)
- (2021-04-18) p.uaaris: Really useful
- (2021-04-07) Anders Thulin: This is how conversation view should work
- (2021-03-06) F L: This sounds like something I could use; however, it does not work. I followed the README to the letter, restarted, and ... nothing. I wasted more time trying to get it to work with the same result. Your mileage may vary.
- (2021-03-01) Hester Fuller: Does just what I wanted - thank you!
- (2021-02-25) Jeffrey Ianni: works as expected! it's a lot easier to look at conversation view without having to scroll a billion miles to the bottom of a thread.
- (2021-02-20) Jeff Hale: To whomever wrote this code, THANKS! I found it after weeding through a boatload of Google finds, and had it downloaded and working perfectly in less than 5 min. A big productivity win for me. Keep up the good work! jeh
- (2021-01-16) Alec Jimenez: Does exactly what it says it will, even though its not been updated since 2018, works like a charm.
