Resize the browser window to emulate various screen resolutions.

Image from store Window Resizer
Description from store This extension re-sizes the browser's window in order to emulate various resolutions. It is particularly useful for web designers and developers by helping them test their layouts on different browser resolutions. The resolutions list is completely customizable (add/delete/re-order). You can set the window's width/height, window's position, preset icon (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop) and even the option to apply the new dimensions to the entire window or just to the viewport. The extension also features customizable global key shortcuts, an option to export your settings and import them on another computer and more! Please report all bugs (or suggestions) using the support link on the extension's details page.

  • (2025-06-26) Shivam Yadav: Everything fine but it doesn't Sync Tabs and after close no previously open tabs are opening that is feature of chrome so kindly make sure to at least sync with that things.
  • (2025-05-14) Josh Cann: This is in my opinion the best window resizer for Chrome. I've been using it for several years and it does exactly what I need it to do without any issues. Fantastic! I should probably throw some money at the developer to show my appreciation...

  • (2025-01-09) DANNY : DE HEK: I use this extension every single day I'm a YouTuber and I rebroadcast my screen and having it at the right dimensions is everything saves me a lot of time and energy absolutely love it if you haven't paid for the paid version I would recommend doing so
  • (2024-10-12) Dianna Lee: Helpful extension! Less one star because something about it makes some sites load the mobile version - regardless of the window size - and I couldn't get it to stop.
  • (2024-08-15) Becca Marcus: Came here because I was having so many headaches when recording my screen in different sizes and trying to edit them together (different aspect ratios will eat away at my soul). THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TOOL! It is exactly what I needed and such a big relief. Super fast install and easy to use <3
  • (2024-06-29) Sean Clarke: I use a 49" 4k display on my Linux deshtop and this extension is absolutely critical for keeping my workflow efficient. Before I discovered it I would spend a significant amount of time moving windows around, now with carefully configured windows sizes and hot-keys I can easily keep my windows where I want them and at what sizes. I just wish we could have more than 10 presets and it would be nice if we could group presets so for example, if we had 4 presets we could make another preset that triggered all 4 at once.
  • (2024-06-13) Andrew Rothman: This is a lifesaver when making videos to use with training materials and marketing content. Being able to set the browser to the right size before recording a demo or walkthrough saves tons of editing time later.
  • (2024-05-21) Work Lnd: It does not work
  • (2024-04-17) Angy Brooks: Perfect viewport/window resizer. Can set up your own sizes and even set up shortcuts. Super easy to use.
  • (2024-03-13) Santiago Bandiera: Nice tool! Useful for wide monitors
  • (2024-03-05) javiereduardo rtvc sync: Works as spected. Easy to use.
  • (2024-03-03) Xtube Lover: Works well, simple, as advertised. Great for development against a certain size screen, or custom tiling. There is probably a better way to do tiling if you're using it for that though.
  • (2024-01-24) Roy Bradstowe: Saved my bacon designing sites! Not too fussy, just a simple button to choose the appropriate browser window size.
  • (2024-01-12) Marcos: Very Good!!
  • (2024-01-11) Josh Lee: GREAT TOOL, NICE FEATURES! Holy cow this thing may seem too advanced, I just wanted a single button that toggled from full screen to small, so I can see behind it, but once you play with the settings for about 5-10 minutes, you can make it do exactly what you want, just because it is so flexible. Tiny complaint: The ONE feature I don't like is HOW the hotkeys are set (hotkey for presets 1, 2,3) what if you change the order of the presets? And why when I am managing the presets, and right click one, can I not change the hotkey from there?

  • (2023-11-16) Jim Wilson: This utility resizes and repositions windows and allows creating custom presets for your EXACT needs. Of all the browser window management tools out there, THIS is the single most useful app I have ever found. I've been using it for at least 3 years and it simply works without fail. Anyone saying otherwise has other issues. I just really wish this was available for Firefox!
  • (2023-10-27) Sean S: Did exactly what I wanted. I'm not a web developer so I have on interest in the preset screen sizes but I DO want my windows in Windows placed exactly on my screen, and this can do that. However, it takes some fiddling because windows in Windows don't actually start at 0,0. More like -7,0 (for M$ Edge) and must be sized to 1934,1087 to take up the full screen. And, once you have manually sized the window to your wishes, this tool can capture that size into a preset. 👨‍🍳💋

  • (2023-08-02) Tuukka Rekonen: This used to work, but now after latest updates as i used after a while it does not work at all. Just makes incorrect sizes of my presets and shows small red note that chrome could not resize. This used to be good and worked, but now not even worth one start as sizes not able to match. Going to remove this and install another or use my very old separate html/javascript method. Maybe this was made in order to sell Pro version, but no thanks.

  • (2023-06-10) Eric B: Most buggy extension I've ever downloaded. None of the dimensions are actually correct if you verify them against other web tools that actually work.

  • (2023-01-27) EZMIL: If you're a web designer or developer looking for a way to test your layouts on different screen resolutions, look no further! This extension is like a magic wand for your browser window. You can resize it to mimic all sorts of different devices, from phones to laptops to massive desktop monitors. And the best part? You get to customize the whole thing to your heart's content. Add, delete, and reorder resolutions like a boss. And if you're feeling fancy, you can even set the window's position and choose a fancy preset icon. But wait, there's more! You can export your settings and import them on another computer, and even customize global key shortcuts. The only downside is that their latest update wasn't as user-friendly as they promised, but hopefully, they'll fix it soon. But overall, this extension is a lifesaver for anyone in the web design game
