- (2025-07-10) Marina Hovakimyan: Unexpectedly good! Useful and precise
- (2025-07-10) sakshi karanjkar: Best one I've used so far. Just don't remove it from chrome or discontinue it, please. Keep the free version basic as it is. Will do.
- (2025-07-08) Eugene: It works as expected. Thanks!
- (2025-07-07) Punit Jaiswal: It's pretty good. They could work upon the random pause in between and sometime even after sentence. It makes it feel a bit off. Otherwise it would be a 5.
- (2025-07-07) Alisa Victory: The free version is very good. The premium feature is excellent.
- (2025-07-06) Yo Landa: after 5 minuted it turned out all the voices are paid. impossible to find any free voice
- (2025-07-05) Mike Backs: you hacve to paid a crazy amount of money if you want to use it... It's only a 5 min free trail then you must pay. and it's not worth it.
- (2025-06-30) Brandon Mccoy: so far it works great 2 days in
- (2025-06-29) Jonathan L: not fast enough
- (2025-06-26) Ben Duitsman: good
- (2025-06-26) Jeff Onam: great and fluid translation.
- (2025-06-24) Michael Whitney: Still has a way to go before it sounds natural, but beats Apple's built-in reader by a mile.
- (2025-06-23) Natalie Rae Spittell (Nona): Natural Reader is an essential part of my online education experience. Digital textbooks are fantastic for on the go, but also equally disastrous for anyone who is both a full time student while also being a full time worker on a PC. After a while, you just can't stare at the screen any longer. Natural Reader saved me. Not only does it read the textbooks with a more human sounding voice, but it provides me a dark mode reading pane that is a huge relief to my eyes. Using this product has reduced how many migraines I get. I was excited to get it on my phone, however, I have no idea how I'm supposed to operate it there. Definitely keeping an eye out for more of a demonstration of how to get it working on my phone. Thank you for all that you do.
- (2025-06-22) Andrea Leguizamon: is my favorite reading extension
- (2025-06-22) Mary Adams: As a very low vision person who loves to "read", I greatly rely upon and appreciate natural reader reading aloud to me many articles and emails that would be most difficult to navigate with my eyes. The quality of the automated voice is greatly improved over early Editions and really sounds like someone you know reading. I just love it!
- (2025-06-22) Anna Chow: I love it! Free and easy to use, both of desktop and mobile downloaded the Natural Reader apps. Thanks !
- (2025-06-20) Jyoti Singh: Very Good impressive
- (2025-06-15) Cody Caudillo: Works if you upload the PDF and create an account, however you only get 5 minutes with a natural voice and all the free voices are robotic. So, if you're desperate, I guess use this. I'm moving on to something that allows more engaging voices.
- (2025-06-15) Mark “Yoxhi” Villaruel: Great for my adhd and helps me read. Would reccommend.
- (2025-06-12) Frank Ivins: The new LLM voices are better than anything else out there. Why not five stars? I mostly use it in Chrome on my PC to read web pages. The plugin can be quite glitchy. It will occasionally refuse to load at all. It will sometimes spontaneously swtich to another voice and stop highlighting until I reset those settings. I would also like it if the team could communicate ways in which the LLM will improve over time... things like certain weird pronuncations and splitting sentences in odd places. It needs a lot of improvement, but it's currently the best out there and I'm happy I bought my 1 year subscription. I've dropped the review to 3 stars since none of the issues with pausing and getting stuck have improved.
- (2025-06-10) Jacob Penrod: This is exactly what I was looking for.
- (2025-06-07) Marcos GóMEZ: Great
- (2025-06-05) Benjamin Hsu: it's awesome.

- (2025-05-22) Adrian Pena-Bautista: love it!
- (2025-05-21) Mike M: great for local pdf files! others i tried wouldn't recognize the text and read it, or required manually copying/pasting it into the reader's UI window.
- (2025-05-20) Annie Sit: Smooth using experience overall. Neat design and adequate functions. Been using for a while and I like it so far <3
- (2025-05-20) Cynthia Wells: I am a disabled college student and there isn't any assistive technology available for me and I can't afford to pay for a paid service. I just downloaded this and it is reading my online text with ease! I am very thankful for this service and highly recommend it for anyone else in my situation!
- (2025-05-19) ofir menashe: It's one of the best <3 very useful
- (2025-05-19) Matthias Müller: really good
- (2025-05-19) catherine m graham: I HAVE BEEN USING NATRALREADER NOW FOR A WEEK AND FOUND IT IS GOOD AS I AM SOMETIMES A SLOW LEARNER WHEN I HAVE STRESS AROUND ME , WHICH I DO IN MY HOME LIFE RIGHT NOW WITH MANY ISSUES AND I FIND BEING ABLE TO LISTEN TO THIS READ TO ME HELPS ME KEEP UP FAST LEVELS OF LEARNING OR ENTERTAINMENT. A FEW ISSUES HAVE BEEN THE VIOCE HAD CHANGED ON ME A FEW TIMES WITHOUT NOTICE, AND NOT SURE HOW TO USE IT WITH POP UP BOXES TO READ. OTHERWISE GOOD. THANK YOU.
- (2025-05-18) Pradeep Rallapalli: Amazing voices, super natural sounding!
- (2025-05-18) Zoran M: The Serbian TTS is cringeworthy. Google Translate free voice for the same is several classes above. For German (Austrian) it actually (ab)uses Microsoft free voices which are available in MS Edge TTS and Immersive Reader. The subscription version is way too expensive.
- (2025-05-17) Jessica Vollmert: game changer! with i would of done this sooner.
- (2025-05-16) Yakov Kapkov: It's a really great job, guys. Thank you. I'm a English learner at the moment and a software engineer so I have to digest a lot of text information and polish my English skills so your tool can help me with both these tasks letting me avoid eye's strain and practice my listening skills.
- (2025-05-15) mohammad: it helps on multi-tasking, thank you for this great tool!
- (2025-05-14) CaffeinatedMC: The free voice is annoying, but I despise reading on screens for long periods so this makes it much, much easier.
- (2025-05-13) Elizabeth Scramblin: I have dyslexia and this makes reading so much essayer
- (2025-05-12) Vignesh Prabhu: Great tool. Really appreciate its voice features.
- (2025-05-09) Boris Kletser: Thanks for building this! It's a real life saver. Macs have a great highlight to speech feature with a keyboard shortcut with speed control but Windows has a gap here. After trying half a dozen apps, this is the one that fills the gap (both the app and chrome plugin!)--has speeds 2x (most don't) and let's me hear just the parts I highlight without having to copy and paste. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
- (2025-05-09) Bekalu Assamnew: It real sounds natural and very efficient.
- (2025-05-07) JT JT: i dont understand other extensions that sound like robots are rated 5, this is great and natural
- (2025-05-06) Naftal Musa: wanted tts ai to read some long document for me, all of them were 1k characters max. This reader is🐐'ed fr. Does what i want how i want it. 5star in a heartbeat. Literally zero bs. Just pick the voice, paste the text and GO! Whoever made this, i hope both sides of your pillow are cold tonight 😘
- (2025-05-05) Jim Hudson: Being site empaired, this plugin has been a God send, I've tried several readers and this hands down the best free solution I've found.
- (2025-05-04) F B (京子FLO): Excellent Chrome extension version of the full-blown Natural Reader. Clear natural AI voice helps me study and keeps me awake, right from chrome.
- (2025-05-01) Dan Allred: it's hard to do a 4.5 so I'm going with a 5. my only real complain or problem with NaturalReader has been that occasionally it will get stuck and not able to play. Typically it has been fixed through by a full system reboot which makes me think there is more going on than just the web browser but it seems odd that it would cause the app to struggle reading pdfs from a web browser or from the computer installed application.
