- I love this app, the mobile version and the desktop (Chrome extension) version! Love that I got to listen instead of 'read'. This way I get to to do my other things while 'reading' at the same time :)
- Morgan Brison
- I struggle reading for long periods of time and focusing on text. As an online college student, I have A LOT of reading to do. I was desperate to find something that could help me, and along came an ad for speechify. It's already a game changer. It had trouble reading some text, but using the image capture helped in the weird online etextbook I was assigned. Love it!

- Too easy and thank you Speechify!
- Carthenox00
- Easily the best tool I use in college. Dyslexia is a real and difficult condition that prevents me from reading and understanding materials that I just read. This app helped tremendously!!! You can also adjust the reading speed.
- Elizabeth Meza Reyes
- This has been one of the best tools I have ever used, especially for individuals with learning disabilities. It has significantly improved my ability to understand reading material while greatly reducing the time required. I used to spend a considerable amount of time reading books and chapters, but now I am able to complete them in half the time with much better comprehension.

- I really like it when it works. I was sad to see that Kindle was taken out of the options. I may not subscribe again because of this loss.
- Yogesh Katwal
- liking the first 5 mins. helpful

- It is great I like it, but it is a little bit fast that all I can say. I give it 4 stars
- Dave Gould
- It's good, but pricing structure doesn't provide enough value for the buck.. I have too many subscriptions already to add one that doesn't fully meet needs, if it were $5.99 I would fully adopt into my tech stack.
- Yahushua Messiah
- Best plugin there is, hands down! Love it!
- Eakasit Mitramon
- I really like it! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the voice sounds a bit unnatural—very choppy when used with NotebookLM, which is my primary AI research tool. Aside from that, it's excellent.
- Jeremie Ogu
- Amazing extension it help me out a lot to read my test questions

- Premium user. I have to reinstall this once every few days because it starts to glitch. The UI is all greyed out and there is a red badge indicating some update or notification that doesn't exist. This does not correct itself after restarting the browser or system. Only a reinstall. Otherwise, it is a handy tool when it works. I would say a very thin net-positive. It is NOT more convenient if I have to install it every time I need to use it, but when it is working it's great.

- This is very helpful for catching up on industry research while I work in the morning. I wish it were cheaper, but am otherwise very pleased.
- Chloe Veilleux
- So helpful working through all the reading of my Doctorate program!:)

- Honestly? This was one of the best investments I've made. I started using Speechify two years ago. At first, it was just to listen to the occasional audiobook while walking or working; however, it has become an incredibly helpful tool for me academically. I completed my MBA with this tool (I wouldn't have been able to keep up with textbook readings without it), and now I'm in Law school and this little (but mighty) blue app has become my emotional support app. When I tell you this app is keeping me sane, I'm not exaggerating.
- Lanautica Mcdonald
- great, it help me get done with my classes better.

- Stop asking me for feedback
- Alec Hudson
- great but keeps asking for feedback
- Michael Pisco
- I just recently started using it. The audio has been choppy for me and the first word of every sentence after a pause, seems to get cut off so I need to investigate the audio a little before I can give a better review.

- Used both free and subscription version- Incredibly powerful and helpful for people who get lost in texts like me!!

- Veronica Cann

- Antonio
- I love Speechify, but they chose not to hire me, so I hate them. But I love them. But I hate them. But I love them. Best thing in the world.
- Hats Tuesday
- It will never work properly even If you know lots about the damn stupid thing.
- Elle E.
- It works really well now, especially with the natural voices i use with premium. i installed this few years ago when they first made it and it was a hassle but they seemed to have fixed a lot of bugs from since then. Anyways I like reading a lot of online articles and lengthy commentary and sometimes my eyes get tired staring at the screen so I like this alternative.

- I have been using since last one year , I have recommended 20+ people.... THis is the best of best extension... Trust me this is the best extension , I ever install
- Joe Cochrane
- Great extension and helps maximize time by allowing me to listen to papers and documents while doing other things. The speed adjustments and voice selection are great. One downside the interface and control bar can be a little "buggy" periodically with it not loading or not responding to inputs. Removing and reistalling the chrome plug in seems to work to fix this
- Erfan Keyhani
- Great extension !
- Leonardo Dantas
- this app is awesome
- Frances Dowle
- The quality / naturalness of the speech is exceptional, and there's a wide choice of voices. It's easy to adjust the speed. The download feature, which is quite new, is very welcome, though currently takes far too long (but you can listen offline or with data - if signal is good enough for a phonecall, it's generally good enough for the premium voices). Perhaps downloading could be optimized for a few voices. In my experience, the 'time lapsed/time remaining' bar at the bottom is not accurate. Perhaps it will be more so with the download feature, though I've yet to wait long enough for a document to download. Improving this would help with time management. Synching across devices is very smooth. Overall, a very good app, with a just a few things that could be improved to make it even better.

- This app is very helpful.

- I downloaded the Speechify app and subscribed thinking I would use it primarily to listen to documents on my commute (which I do). However, the Chrome app has proven itself to be equally, if not more, valuable in my workflow. As I'm reading content on the screen, I'll often engage Speechify to read it for my ears while I read it with my eyes. The ability to choose the perfect voice and speaking rate is especially nice. That's where it exceeds other text-to-speech tools. Looks like my one-year subscription will be a multi-year commitment.
