LOVE Speed Dial... this has to be one of the easiest productivity boosters available. I have shown it to all the team members in a group I am working with and tell people about it all the time. Even sub links I go to often are on my speed dial. It is quick to set up. I save hundreds of clicks a day... and tons of time!!! Thank you!

Very handy, all your frequently visited links at your fingertips. HOWEVER, since 2021 it has been impossible to upload any new Dials I created on the EverSync server since I got the FVD speed dial in 2015. The upload freezes and quits. Also trying to download the stored dials from the EverSync server to 2 new laptops has been freezing and downloads only 125 out of over 350 dials stored on their server. There is no way to make local back ups. There is not even an option to create a local backup. I contacted support to buy the FVD speed dial service. The FVD Speed dial and EverSync (EverHelper) people are no where to be found. Just today Dec 8 2025, after over 4 entire years, I was able to download all my 354 dials from the EverSync server. Seems like a miracle happened...

Absolutely a must in my opinion. I just wish there was a way to save everything once you're all set. Purchased a new laptop this week and had to redo thirty-two dials. I also wish that like maybe the top twenty, twenty-five ,most popular dials were already recognized for a quicker dial add, like RBC, CIBC, Air Miles etc..

I have no issues except for chrome deleting all my dials randomly That is a huge issue luckily I saved this import on a flash drive

Not at all what I was expecting. I've had other New Tab extensions that weren't so difficult to use. I'm being patient with this one but it's NOT very user-friendly or adaptable. The concept is good, the execution, not so much. Stay tuned. I'll kick the tires again and see what happens.

This little plugin is amazing. Currently, it lacks a remote backup function for favorited tag groups (including combinations of tags and images). Could it be set up to be linked to Gmail, so that the offline backup data is retained after logging in and out? Adding them one by one is very tedious once the browser version changes. Alternatively, could a file format be designed for downloading locally and adding them (including tag groups, tags, and images) in an offline environment?

Been using this for at least 5+ years now and even though I've changed web browsers, this bad boy just keeps on with that familiar page of my favorite sites. If you're on the fence you owe it to yourself to try it for a week or two at least!

I like it. Only reason for 4 stars is: I wish you could you small icons on the main screen instead of the big square icon boxes. Overall. Amazing and perfect for what I want to use it for.

I've been using Speed Dial and Eversync for quite a while... It's important to me that, no matter what platform I am working on, things look the same and familiar. Speed Dial and Eversync do the job nicely. Thanks.

it was working fine until a random day all my links are gone and a outdated set of links appeared , tried to find any way to fix but no proper backup or saving features found, all my links and efforts are gone

Since Chrome eliminated the standard quick links with only six links, this FVD extension allows me to add more quick links of frequently used web sites. The looks is pretty good and allows me to change the background.

Problem in connection with the NordVPN extension: Since installing the NordVPN extension, I've noticed that Speed Dial causes a connection issue. Whenever I activate Speed Dial, a window appears asking for my NordVPN login credentials. This window does not pop up when Speed Dial is deactivated.

I've been using it for years, and just installed it on 2 new computer and it's still the best I've found and works good. The only problem is if you have to reinstall I lose everything, plus I don't know how to share all info on both computers. I don't like the new groupings on the top of the page when you can't change 2 of them to my use. Also I liked the old way of names showing on top of each tile in Chrome. I'm also having problems with the tiles installing correctly on some sites. It sucks in the new edge browser. Thanks for keeping it free.

Have been using this extension for years. I love it and is always the first extension I install on new pc. Unlike most I actually prefer Firefox to Chrome which leads to my only criticism. Some time ago this extesion stopped working on Firefox, some blowup between Mozilla and creator of FVD. Dont know if this has been sorted out now

It's bad, because it doesn't always saves you current setup/saved Dials, so after reinstallation of Operating System, or due to changes in your browser, you can easily lose your data. The User Interface is also confusing, especially EverSync part, saving your presets (wording) is very bad.
