Description from store Toolkit for YNAB is a general purpose extension that adds features to YNAB and makes it more flexible. Have it your way! There are many different features available once installing the Toolkit for YNAB. You can see the full list here: https://github.com/toolkit-for-ynab/toolkit-for-ynab/blob/master/docs/feature-list.md All of these are configurable with options in the extension options page. Features under consideration and the general status of the project is on our Trello Board here: https://trello.com/b/EzOvXlil/ynab-enhanced-roadmap. Feel free to vote, comment and suggest new features. If you want to contribute, it's best if you can let us know so we don't double up on effort. You can see what is being worked on and by whom on the roadmap. This is an open source community developed and maintained extension. It is not affiliated with YNAB in any way (other than that we use it) and YNAB has not endorsed this at all. You Need a Budget and YNAB are registered trademarks of Steine LLC and/or one of its subsidiaries. This [app/plugin/script] is not officially supported by YNAB in any way. As such, your use of this [app/plugin/script] is risky. There is a very real possibility that using this [app/plugin/script] could introduce problems into your budget that YNAB, through its official support channels, will not be able to troubleshoot or fix. (2025-06-24) James Valero: Must Have addon for YNAB! It has a lot of convenience keys, better reports, and makes life easier. Hopefully YNAB will integrate the changes as the project is in maintenance mode.

The advanced reporting offers powerful historical and forecasting tools that allow for real-time financial insights. Not sure why YNAB hasn’t officially adopted many of these features, this extension feels essential.

This team is constantly improving the extension. The toolkit adds visibility into my budget and provides the ability to personalize. The recent addition of a search field has completely changed how I use the toolkit. Keep up the good work!
(2024-08-23) Brian Kotoka: The ultimate companion extension for YNAB. Over the years I've learned to use YNAB for my business and personal life but some of the native feature were lacking. The ability to customize YNAB more to my liking has been really helpful. My suggestion to to add the extension and toy around with it a bit to see what settings give you the most flexibility in how you use YNAB.
(2024-08-17) Chris Sharp: LOVE this tool kit. Using on Apple Silicon Mac Mini M1. Just giving feed back that when I click on the 'Reflect' Reports I get a message "Something Went Wrong An error occurred in Toolkit for YNAB (a browser extension you installed to modify YNAB). Uninstall the extension and refresh your browser to get back in business". If I refresh it works in the 'Reflect' Reports, but every time I click on the 'Reflect' Reports I get the above message. Hope someone can fix this. I did uninstall the extension, quit Chrome, started Chrome up again and installed Toolkit extension again and pasted my settings into 'Export/Import'. The fault returned. Uninstalled/reinstalled extension again and used default settings - All's OK now.

(2024-05-17) Rob Stewart: I use YNAB religiously and this tool kit makes that a pleasure. The reports are superior to the YNAB baked in reports. The user interface tweaks that let me see status of budget items, account details etc in a more friendly way etc... I love it. Like any extension to someone elses product, there are occasional hiccups. sometimes I have had to disable the tool until an update is available (I assume usual cause is YNAB changing something and toolkit needing time to catch up). For example, the current version has an issue when moving from the toolkit reports to any other screen but a screen refresh and its good. I can live with that to get the 90% of the time use of its features otherwise

I do really wish you would offer a Statement of Cash Flows report that shows beginning cash, +net income, +/- change in debt=ending cash, so we can see how cash moved in and out of our accounts, and how much of any net loss was covered by debt or how much debt was paid down by net income.

At some point, I'm stumbled they are not already built-in considering how helpful and logical they are.
