WIE NUTZT MAN DEN KI-E-MAIL-ASSISTENTEN IN GMAIL?
Nachdem du diese Erweiterung installiert hast, wirst du eingeladen, die KI-Funktionen sofort zu aktivieren. Alternativ kannst du sie wie folgt einschalten:
1. Gehe zu Einstellungen > Add-ons > Mailmeteor-Einstellungen
2. Aktiviere die KI-E-Mail-Assistent-Funktion
3. Passe die E-Mail-Kategorisierung, Vorentwürfe und weitere Einstellungen an.
Nach der Aktivierung wird dein KI-E-Mail-Assistent:
* deinen Posteingang mit intelligenten Labels organisieren
* Entwürfe für wichtige E-Mails erstellen
* dir helfen, E-Mails schneller zu schreiben
WIE FUNKTIONIERT EINE SERIENMAIL IN GMAIL?
Nach der Installation kannst du Massenmails in Gmail so versenden:
1. Wähle den Tab „Kampagnen“ unter Posteingang / Markiert / Gesendet
2. Klicke auf „Neue Kampagne“
3. Schreibe deine E-Mail und wähle die Empfänger
4. Sende dir selbst eine Test-Mail oder nutze die Vorschau
5. Klicke auf „E-Mails senden“
Deine Empfänger erhalten die E-Mails so, als hättest du sie selbst manuell verschickt. Die gesendeten E-Mails findest du wie gewohnt im „Gesendet“-Ordner.
WIE FOLGT MAN IN GMAIL NACH?
Nachdem du die Erweiterung installiert hast, kannst du so Follow-ups in Gmail senden:
1. Verfasse eine neue Nachricht wie gewohnt
2. Klicke statt auf „Senden“ auf den Pfeil und wähle „Mit Follow-up senden“
3. Wähle eine Follow-up-Vorlage oder schreibe eine neue
4. Lege fest, wann das Follow-up gesendet werden soll (z. B. 3 Tage später, falls keine Antwort kommt)
5. Klicke auf „Senden“

- I was directed to use this app to download and convert selected emails to CSV format. It produced a pile of disorganised garbage out of a portion of the selected emails, completely missing the majority of them. This was a complete waste of time, and required giving an unnerving amount of access to my Google account. Never, ever again.

- Mailmeteor is an extension to a Google worksheet that merges information from a datasheet into an email. This is an extraordinarily useful function as bulk emails can be personalised to each recipient. Rather than mail merge and send out individual letters, this app allows the mail merge from the database directly into the email. It also tracks the sending of emails, the clicks, opens and responses. I have used this function for large batches of emails, i.e., 2000 a day, as well as for more customised batches of 5-10 emails when the information has to be sent within a short deadline (sometimes 20 mins) and has to be personalised, i.e., student names, class level, parent names, times, subjects, etc.. the number of merge fields is not restrictive and as long as the data is accurate, it works like a dream. I can recommend this program as I now cannot do without it.

- Total Scammers! They managed to find a way to swindle me out of hundreds of dollars. They added fees for who knows what without notifying me or verifying rates with me. For 5 months of service I was expecting about $50 of fees and I find they charged my credit card almost $500. We are a non profit school organization and they took advantage of us. After confronting them they refused to rectify the situation. RUN AWAY FAST! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

- I’ve been using MailMeteor for a while now. I originally signed up when they launched through a Lifetime Deal (LTD) on AppSumo. From past experience, I’ve noticed that companies often let their customer service slide over time, especially for LTD users. But with MailMeteor, it’s been the exact opposite. Their customer service has been consistently excellent (definitely 5-star), and the tool itself is solid, reliable, and packed with useful features.

- This extension worked fine for several years UNTIL recently. Now, it blocks the 'send' button on non-bulk emails. I press send and it does nothing.

- I'm baffled by the positive reviews because my experience was awful; if possible, I'd rate zero stars. I signed up for the Pro plan which supposedly includes unlimited verification, yet they failed to verify emails as promised. Despite multiple bounce backs, the dashboard misleadingly showed a 0% bounce rate. I reached out on Friday 14th June, to inquire about the unverified addresses. After waiting a week with no explanation or even a courteous acknowledgment of my emails, I canceled my subscription and requested a refund. Their customer service is painfully slow, taking days to respond with generic, unhelpful replies that didn’t address my specific issues. In today's competitive marketplace, such delays are unprofessional and suggest they don't value customers or prioritize their satisfaction. Now, I must switch everything to another cold email platform, which is highly inconvenient and disrupts my daily marketing plan. Had they addressed customer queries as promptly as negative reviews, this situation might have been avoided. If I don't receive a refund by Friday 28th June, I will report Mailmeteor to Trading Standards for misleading advertising. I believe I am entitled to a full refund for the misrepresented service I signed up for. Steer clear of this company everyone, save your money and precious time.
