- I am using Ghostery for some time and very happy to have it. Recently You tube start to fight back . Nowadays coming up with "video isn't available". Reloading it or pausing the Ghostery solves the problem. I believe I should have right to have no adds in my browsing over the internet. It is annoying .

- I am puzzled? For the first two days not one advert on youtube then on the third day every video started with an advert? However one of the UK national internet newspapers is completely blocked from adverts and my local online towns newspaper is too. Puzzled with the youtube thing though? Maybe youTube have people constantly working on this?

- I would have given you a five star just a week ago. But my understanding was ALL ads would be blocked and as of this week I'm getting ads at the beginning of every video. Yes I can skip in like 15 sec. But it's irritating non the less. It worries me that this is just the beginnig and the next thing YouTube will be able to just put in ads everywhere.

- First day of getting this extension, I'm shocked it's so good! So good i'm actually writing a review for it. The app icon (the ghost) is super cutesy, and this blocks ads for you and you can also get rid of the ads on a website, if Ghostery doesn't see them. Definitely get this, it blocks ads on YouTube and other sites!! Love this:)

- While the extension is wonderful with all the features one could want, sometimes it just stops working abruptly and displays an error message, requiring me to delete and reinstall the extension again. Therefore, if this issue can be fixed, then it will be a full 5 Stars.

- For years I use Ghostery and no problem with that. But as 10/02/2025 the extension also block the video, so I can't play anymore. Please fix it. Love Ghostery!

- Usually my go-to but no videos on YouTube load with this active atm. Edit: Also had some other minor issues with other websites past few hours, but is fixed now on the same day, works great again!

- Starting today 10/2/2025 the ghostery extension is breaking youtube videos. It's blocking something that the youtube videos need to play. Of course I don't want any trackers, but we need to either have the ability to pick and choose which trackers get blocked, or Ghostery needs to find some way to "sandbox" this particular tracker so videos can play without disclosing our information to Youtube. I'm not sure if that can be done, but it would be nice.

- As of today Oct 2nd 2025 Youtube vids not loading with Ghostery ext even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Vids will only load if paused or turned off :(

- Yes, it's a good ad blocker, but as someone is is really mindful of internet privacy the automatic anti-tracking incorporated here is much appreciated, too. If I had a suggestion it would be to bundle in an AI search results blocker, too, although there are a few other extensions available that do that job, too.
