  • (2022-12-17) Pat MySecret: Note that there is another version to this before 2.0. A bit glarish.. and you still see a flash of the image before it gets blocked. It does block Icons. Try "Block Image" extension instead for a more no-nonsense approach.
  • (2021-10-27) Milo Axelrod: It does what it says, but its not very useful to have the word NOPE screaming across the page. It would be significantly more helpful if I could set it to show images as an empty square, or something of my choosing. I'm not interested in simply replacing images with annoying snarky attitude.
  • (2021-06-20) Rafi: It does not replace images with placeholders - It hides the original elements with display:none; and then pushes a new element next to the hidden tag (with their own styles..), effectively breaking the webpages and flooding it with 2x as many images. It also has to be enabled on each page load, and a website needs to be fully loaded in order for the plugin to do its job, so you will see the images while the page is loading for a few seconds, and then it breaks.
  • (2019-05-15) I식: DON'T USE NOPE IMAGES!!! JUST TOGGLE NOT SHOW BUTTONS
  • (2018-08-01) Noni Beacham: it's a confusing
  • (2017-11-16) Fabian F: It does what it says, however, it would be better if it would hide images before loading the page. The problem is that you still see the images for a split second before it hides them. For some uses, this is not enough.
  • (2017-05-27) Kathleen Garvin: Helps create a distraction-free environment on the web! I use it when I need to grab information for articles without getting distracted by images.
  • (2017-05-23) Ian Sisk: doesn't block images coming from a specific site :(
