Do you sometimes accidentally click the middle-mouse button and activate the "automatic scrolling" feature?
If yes, then this extension prevents the activation of the auto-scroll behavior when you click on middle mouse button by mistake.

- So far, so good... ish There are places that it doesn't work on, I'm assuming it's to do with the specific website code on some platforms/domains. For example, this page you're on right now, the middle-scroll will still happen. But for almost all other pages it has stopped it

- Finally! Been searching a long time for this. Didn't realize it was a browser function and tried to disable it in Window itself. This plugin will save me a lot of hours of frustratingly smashing my mouse with a damn sensitive scrollwheel on my desk!

- Amazing! No auto scroll on middle mouse button clicks should be a chrome default option! Works wonderfully! I can finally middle click twitter stories and have them open up in a new tab instead of auto scrolling.
