Verificador gramatical e parafraseador IA - LanguageTool
Description from store

I am eager to offer a unique viewpoint as an individual who has extensive experience in software engineering and information technology and who comprehends the actual process of developing and maintaining a product at a large scale. LanguageTool is no longer completely free, which has been criticized in many recent reviews. I know how you feel; we all like free tools. However, it's crucial to have a realistic understanding of how contemporary software functions. LanguageTool goes beyond being a straightforward browser add-on. It is an advanced language processing platform that includes: • Grammar and style checking powered by artificial intelligence • Support for multiple languages • An internet platform that possesses a plethora of unique capabilities that are not found in other language tools • LanguageTool has a desktop app for Windows, Linux, and Mac that lets you connect its features to popular programs like Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Word, Outlook, etc. • Constant upgrades, upkeep of the infrastructure, and client assistance It is impossible to maintain this solely based on goodwill. It needs engineers, infrastructure, cloud resources, security checks, time for development, and ongoing funding. Likewise, it is simply unrealistic to expect a sophisticated, actively developed product that is used by millions of people to stay completely free forever. Companies require business models that can last. One of the most open and equitable methods of financing long-term development is through subscriptions. For 95 PLN (~$27), I acquired a one-year Premium subscription during a Black Friday sale and have been exceedingly pleased with the value. In contrast to comparable instruments that are available, the cost is reasonable. Giving a company a one-star review just because they launched a paid tier is a reflection of disapproval of their business model rather than the quality of their product. If the premium version is not suitable for you, that is entirely acceptable. That doesn't mean the product is bad, though. Support for long-term software needs long-term funding.

It started charging, so I switched to TinaMind.
Terri Paxton
Yeah I got it to replace Grammarly which was pushing for a sub. Now this wants me to pay for it. It's being uninstalled right now.
Jose RG
Useless now that a paid subscription is required. Could pay but not the amount they are asking for.
Jeff
Useless now that a paid subscription is required to use the extension. Basically the extension does nothing unless you pay.
Ellie Daniels
Suddenly completely paywalled. Removing.
Atlas
It was fine but there is no way I am paying for this.
Aqua Drain
paywall
André Braga
Premium only now... The price isn't worth it... What a joke...
The Lions Studio
It was good until its opening new tab every day and asked for an upgrade, now it seems it will not have a free version anymore, just 14 days free trial. SO WHY I SHOULD NOT USE GRAMMARLY!!!
Quality
New user. So far has been exactly what we need.
Rafael
Used to be good, now is just another AI slop.
Vlad Ostrykovskyy
Now fully paid for AI junk no one wanted.
NmFlash8
was great while it lasted
Elliot Hunter
Excellent extension prior to be putting entirely behind a paywall. Unless you are willing to get the premium subscription, this extension no longer is functional. Very disappointing, but was happy for it while it lasted. RIP.
Ian Brown
Fantastic plugin, super helpful.
Tyler Duncan
I've been using Premium for a few weeks now, and I personally really enjoy it. It's a lifesaver, and I absolutely love it. I would highly recommend Premium.
Eric Ketzer
Well, I have the free premium for now. Thing is it is pretty bad. I intentionaly make obvious mistakes and the extension won't even recognize them. And it will point me some mistakes, when they're aren't any. Something is broken with their AI. So not only they are asking to pay soon to be able to use that extension, but that extension isn't even worth using it anymore, even for free.
Connor Linville
Loved it until they removed everything from free users.
Tucker Gratton
Devs got greedy and went premium only.
Alexander H.
Auto-recognises the language you type in, so ideal for polyglots. I use it to improve/correct my German while using Signal. I happily pay for my annual subscription, so LanguageTooler can improve the product even more. Let's support European tech!
Erin O'Neill
was awesome until they changed it and now you have to pay to use it.
Maksym Medvediev
It's okay-ish for a free extention, but it's not NEARLY good enough to pay for. It manages basic spelling, but misses more complex grammar half the time - I still had to check my text every time before submitting. The audacity to demand payment for uncomplete product is something else. Strongly not recommend.
TheA2ace
This service should be part of Chrome OS and not a pay for service...
Mine Border
Can't do anything without a premium subscription. They gave you a free trial which it wasn't really explained. The trial doesn't give you full access to all of the features so what is even the point of giving me a free trial.
Preeti Berwal
It was so good, but now.....WE HAVE TO PAY TO USE IT!!!!!
Barry-Lee Pace
After years of using "other brands of Ai-writing assitants I had to relinquish my subscription due to cost. When I saw this model having to stay competitive I opened my wallet. I wanted to support them because of the excellence of their software product.
Arnold Bennett
GREEDY CORPORATION. I ASK THEM TO REVERSE THEIR GREEDINESS AND BLOCK ME FROM THEIR EMAIL. CORPORATE LOGIC, I GUESS
Matthew Bennett
HOPE THIS GREEDY COMPANY GOES BROKE OVER GREEDY PATRICE. SINCE THE COSTUMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, I DEMAND A REVERT

I loved this extension, but with them having disabled almost all the features in free mode I'm uninstalling and finding a new free extension.
David Bevan
This WAS a good extension. But the devs decided having access to literally everything you type through it just wasn't enough. They switched to a subscription model and lost me, and just about everyone else. All those who are looking for an alternative, consider Harper - Private Grammar Checker, or something else...
Ugly Picture
Quite genuinely the only dependable and consistently working Writing Tool I've ever used. And while I'm saddened that the devs decided to make it unavailable for free users, I'd honestly have no problem paying a monthly fee to use it... if I could afford to do that. But I can't; so like hundreds of other users, I'm forced to find an alternative.
KEVIN HALLEY SOUZA SANTOS
A really good tool. A must have for anyone who writes a lot.
Oliver C
In loving memory of Languagetool. My best friend in writing for the past 5+ years and a lot of fun to have around. Our days are now behind us. It is with huge regret that I submit this 1-star review and uninstall Languagetool. Anyway, I don't get why they'd do this. So they're kicking out all their free customers. Alright. Is this gonna encourage those customers to pay to continue using it when there are a hundred other free alternatives around? Now their usage base is gonna drop by like 95% and it's not like it'll get them any more profit or paying customers. Good luck to you Languagetool.

Paying for real improvements is one thing. But when the creators suddenly decide to charge just because they can... nope. You can’t. Best of luck (no)
R W
Apparently, the new business model is 'pay up because the AI boom scared us.' It doesn't take a genius to realize that alienating your user base is a death sentence. Good luck with the bankruptcy; turn the lights out when you're done.
Rory Haggart
I partly understand the move to a paid only model but it does feel like an immediate move to the nuclear option to stop the tool working at all for free users. Additionally, since I had the notification and the extension stopped working, this extension caused bad behaviour on my chrome. Tabs would start automatically closing one-by-one, and no matter how many times I reopened them, they would continue to close. Quite a scary surprise - felt like some sort of malware had infected. I disabled my extensions one at a time to observe behaviour, and languagetool was the one causing this bug...
Richard Davies
Was great until they went paid only, there is an alternative called Private Grammar Checker - Harper chrome extension on here, so give that a go as it does the same thing.
David Wolfe
Requires payment.
Jose Sevillano
This was one of the best spelling extensions, but instead of offering actual value and great features on the premium version, they decided to manufacture a paywall offering nothing extra. Making it premium only has absolutely destroyed the trust I once had on them.
tim
£47.92 /year. No thank you,
Floriano
Very good app, the company that I work use it all day long!
Кирилл Рудавин
Don't install that paid garbage. I will find free alternatives.
Kerry Elverstone
I've used this for years, its amazing. I understand the need to make money on the product, but its completely priced out of my budget. I'd pay £3.99 for it monthly but I can't afford to buy a year up front!
Spyros Ntaountakis
Payers only. What a shame...
Dan de Lench
So far excellent, still learning it!
Ryan itam
I've been using this for more than 2 years and this is what they give back?
