• (2025-09-05) "theater mode" is conflicting with Youtube Theater mode on Chrome, resulting in an annoying overlay with recommended video thumbnails that overlaps all the navigation' buttons at the bottom, and unable to do anything but press "T" to get back to the normal version. Also, when turning the recommended videos OFF at the right side of normal view - the video size does not change, that space turns empty. that's it. not sure what went wrong after last Chrome Update, but it seems to be broken for now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, because I've been trying to browse for a solution for quite some time now and can't figure it out. Even tried reinstalling the browser several times and cleaning the catche/history etc..
• (2025-09-04) It doesnt hide short anymore (been an issue for months now) when one searches on youtube and it recently started hiding likes on all but a couple of top comments for some reason couple of top comments appear as they should and the rest dont appear at all, you just see a bunch of comments with no like (they properly again when I disable it.
• (2025-09-04) I like it, No bugs or anything that I notice, but is it possible to add a bookmark button, it marks a point in a video so you can easily get back to it. Other than that, it's perfect, Keep up the good work!
• (2025-09-04) This is an awesome extension that I can't live without, but after my YouTube account recently updated to the new web-player UI, there's an overlay covering the bottom of the interface. Can this be fixed?
• (2025-09-03) This extension has my favorite fill the screen mode of any extension. It stops auto play. It enables auto HD. Those are the main things I care about. However, recently while Youtube is running my browser will randomly hang for 20-30 seconds before returning to normal. This only occurs with this specific extension installed. I've swapped to other extensions and didn't experience the issue and came back to this one for the issue to return. Not too sure what's going on but it's quite frustrating.

• (2025-08-23) The change in YouTube design is great but the functions themselves are terrible, for example, the automatic inclusion of video in 2k 4k makes the video freeze, just by disabling the extension the video stops freezing...

• (2025-08-23) Overall. one of, if not THE best youtube extensions, but unfortunately, lately I have had an issue where the video stalls on starting. It takes approx 10 to 20 seconds while the icon spins and the youtube "interruption" popup displays before the video finally starts to play. After that, video play is normal and all features (that I'm aware of/using) work fine. Will update rating score if things change in the future.

• (2025-08-18) I don't know what everyone is complaining about with this extentsion, it runs fine. I don't have any large problems with it that would justify the loss of a star, not even small things. This is an amazing extentsion and i hope it stays up, i'd be even willing to lend money to keep it alive and well~! Never let capitalism control you sir mrfdev!
• (2025-08-16) It broke Youtube. When Enhancer for Youtube extension is enabled, videos on the page stop loading and returns errors. When disabled, everything working back.
• (2025-08-16) The dev has a spat with Mozilla and so he would rather punish FF users and completely remove that version of the extension rather than publish it to his site directly, or just make it open source. Pushing users onto Chrome instead of away from it is the wrong direction to go.
• (2025-08-16) Does a lot of nice things when it's working, the problem right now is it hasn't been blocking Shorts for a month now on any of the three computers I have this installed on. Searching on Youtube is borderline unusable with how they stuff Shorts into every little nook and cranny.
• (2025-08-15) I honestly love this extension and have enjoyed it for ~2 yrs now, but I'm leaving a low review because of the recent update that created a "More videos" page that automatically pops up once a video finishes. I have found no way to turn it off and it is really obnoxious. Not to mention it covers half of the buttons on the control bar at the bottom of a video when it's minimized (because the page is always there, it just covers the screen any time you want to scroll down in full screen mode or the video ends). And this is not just inconvenient; it's 1 more way to doomscroll, for YouTube to keep me glued to my computer screen. One reason I got this extension was to remove things like shorts, to turn off autoplay, but this seems like a step in the opposite direction. So until the feature gets removed or becomes optional, I am unfortunately leaving a poor review.

• (2025-08-14) Excellent extension for someone who uses Youtube app substantially I was mainly looking for a extension to hide shorts on the right side of youtube page when watching a video, but came across this instead. doesn't have said feature but comes with other awesome customisable features (including the feature to completely hide shorts) Really does what it's named for, enhances youtube viewing experience by 10x, I regret not having this extension sooner, deserves to have 5/5 stars

• (2025-08-13) Was working great then recently the "Pop-up player" stopped working with an 'error 0', it then started working again, but now has stopped working with an 'This video is unavailable' message. Must be YouTube messing around again.

• (2025-08-12) There's zero paywall, idk what people are talking about or what they have installed. But there is no paywall for any features. Only feature I use that doesn't seem to functio is blocking the Shorts from the home page of Youtube (The Shorts section that appears in the list of videos). Otherwise Pop-Up Video works well, immediatley shows mini-player once I scroll down. Great extention that's replacing 2-3 other ones. Youtube getting worse & worse despite being a Premium paid user. They just don't care what their users want. They decide which features you get and it's their final word. smh

• (2025-08-11) The pop-up player is not working. I was happy that the error was fixed after reporting via email a few days ago. However, the pop-up player only works at the beginning again, only the buffering state continues.
• (2025-08-09) Dear Developer, Since the latest update of Enhancer for YouTube™ (August 5, 2025), I’ve noticed that the YouTube video player size no longer matches the previously set or expected values. In particular, I can no longer reduce the size of the player. This seems to be a change or a bug that affects the viewing experience. • (2025-08-09) Does not remove Shorts. Brand new install of Chrome, brand new install of the extension, set the option to "Hide Shorts", and it does not work. It's broken in Firefox as well.
