- Simple as the title, adds a neat little menu to your typical right click and makes it easy to download anything images off the internet as the correct filetype rather than the default webp

- This extension had been working fine for months (thanks) but the latest update seems to have broken ComfyUI running in a Chrome tab (http://127.0.0.1:8188/). Had to disable this extension for now. :(

- Never seem to have any issues and being able to set it for a one click save as your most used makes it even better,

- My friends who does design recommended this for me and oh my goodness is it nice. Would be nice to be able to save multiples to the same folder but eh,

- great extension, but could you please make it remember last opened/saved folder? When I need to download multiple images, it is annoying to navigate each time to the folder I need to save an image. Thanks.

- nice one

- Worked wayyyyy better than expected. You can choose the format to save in and it's so easy to use on any website with just a right click. Only annoying things are it not remembering previously saved in folder and the very first time you use it you need to set it up first.

- Used to be a good extension. Now only saves as JFIF, not JPEG. Why is it so difficult to just save a JPEG as a JPEG in a web browser in 2025? Ridiculous.
- Tamal Ahmed
- When I save as JPG, it saves as JFIF instead so its clearly not working properly. Had to perform a registry edit to fix the issue. Obviously this type of fix should not be required for a simple extension like this. Still leaving 3 stars because after this fix, it saves file in correct format

- its good but where does it save the photos?

- Why Google ever decided to force the saving of images as a bunch of random HTML code files and not an actual picture that you can later view or use is crazy to me. Luckily this dev saw a need to bring the functionality back to Chrome and wrote this extension! Works great and it seems that whenever something "breaks" the dev resolves it quickly. Thank you!!

- Please add to remember the path where I save my pictures.

- Works great! It did break recently but the developer fixed it almost immediately (thanks!) Only improvement would be to have it not default every download to the downloads folder.
- Rob Gillaspie
- Worked great until today, 11/23/2025, when it no longer appears on a right-click prompt.

- When saving the image the save to folder defaults to Downloads. It would be great Default to the last or new folder. This way you don't have to keep digging the folder structure to save multiple images

- Amazing experience, been using it for years at this point, but for some reason right click isn't showing me the option anymore?

- At first use it's a solid extension. The only thing I hope the developer can add is the begin where left off piece. When I browse to a folder and save that file it's great. But when I'm going to save another file from the same webpage to the same saved local folder the extension reverts back to the default folder of Downloads. It would be more efficient (at least for me) if the code was added to open the last folder saved to. Other than that this extension is slick and good for me so far.

- This extension is amazing and usually works as intended. One issue with it is that lately it stopped working on some websites for some reason, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I would be happy to change this review to an even better one if this issue gets fixed. Anyway, except for this small bug, I recommend this extension

- This Chrome extension is easy to setup and easy to use. As a developer, this is a must. Webp files are often incompatible with most software.

- Works mostly as intended... course, as other users have already pointed out, it's faintly ridiculous that we're basically forced to use an extension to perform what *should*, by all rights, be a DEFAULT function within the web browser... buuuut, hey - that's good old 'goolag' for you... User convenience need not apply!
- John Bradley
- Been using it for over a year. It does what it says and it just works. That said, it's *very* irritating that it always wants to save the images in the default 'Downloads' folder (I've got mine set to the Desktop) rather than defaulting to the "last place Chrome saved a downloaded file to" like Chrome's built-in "Save image as..." command does. That should be fixed!
- Maria Eunice Arcadio
- This is pretty useful since webp is usually unsupported, but I suggest the creator to add GIFs into the convertible formats if they can

- Subject: Feature Suggestion: Add a default save format option for "Save Image As JPG/PNG/WebP" extension Dear Development Team, I am a regular user and am very pleased with the "Save Image As JPG/PNG/WebP" extension you have created. It has significantly improved my workflow. I have a small suggestion that I believe could further enhance the user experience. Currently, every time I save an image, I am required to select one of the JPG, PNG, or WebP formats. For users who need to quickly save images and only require a single format (for example, JPG), this can sometimes feel like an unnecessary step. Therefore, I would like to propose that you consider adding an option in the extension's settings that allows users to set a default save format. When this option is enabled, the extension would automatically save images in the chosen format (e.g., JPG) without requiring the user to select it each time. I believe this feature would help users like me save time, streamline our workflow, and make the extension even more convenient. Thank you very much for your hard work and I look forward to your response. Sincerely,
- K K
- Incredibly helpful, use it all the time. Works great

- It's ridiculous that we have to download an extension to get Chrome to stop converting .jpeg and .png files to .webp or .avif files when saving images from the web. Google should be ashamed of themselves that over a million people have had to download an extension for their browser to complete such a simple task.
- Melissa LeBlanc-Williams
- Very useful extension, but would love to have it save in last save location rather than always defaulting to downloads folder.
- Shubham Singhvi
- Good but sometimes slow, but again very productive
- Emerson Dennis
- No complaints, quick to install and so so easy to use!

- ten out of ten, no complains at all. Straight to the point, no unnecesary bloat.
- Jacob Eiden
- Why does Google force you to save as Webp? Might switch browsers soon.

- Thanks
- HASEL İstif Makinaları
- A handy little tool that simplifies a basic saving task not easily done through the browser 👍 One feedback for the developer: "The app always tries to save each downloaded image to the Downloads folder. It would be helpful if it could remember the previously used folder when downloading multiple images." 💡
