• (2023-11-10) Elana Shae: I write a lot for school and for my job, so this extension has been so nice!! I saw that some people had trouble with the page itself being white and the background going into dark mode, but that's something you can toggle pretty easily by just clicking the button on your screen. It actually lets you choose if you want all dark mode or not, which is super convenient. I also saw that someone else had a problem with the button covering the 'x' when searching for a word, which I had too, but I realized you can actually just drag the button to a different part of the screen and solve this! Great extension overall, definitely recommend.

• (2023-11-06) Marcin Rokosz: This extension is misleading. It's not real dark mode, it's just color inversion. And because it's just color inversion, it makes images unviewable (because it inverts them too), highlighting useless, and content displeasing to the eye. All-white text on an entirely black page does NOT look good -- and this is what the extension does. Avoid it.

• (2023-10-20) Reverend Aero: The extension constantly breaks aspects of Docs. The most annoying thing is when you try to use the mouse and click on the scroll bar to move up or down (useful when parsing a lot of pages for specific text when you don't know what the text is well enough to search for it, I know it's a weird thing but it comes up for me often enough.) You end up selecting the page count instead of the scroll bar then begin moving random lines around in the doc. The absolute worst, and it seems random bugs constantly pop up with this app.

• (2023-09-28) Tyson Stone: It was good, the only real complaint I have is that it inverts the colors of pictures, and It clashes with Night light, turning white blue, and grey to red. I have no Idea how I would get around that, but If at the very least it could avoid inverting photos, that would be great. It's still a High quality product, and I can see the work put it to make it and appreciate it. Keep up the good work!
• (2023-09-19) Ben: When you get this you will see 4 round buttons at the very side of the screen. You have to click the SUN/MOON button AND YOU ALSO MUST CLICK the one below it then you have black background and clean clear bright white text. The P button is just for if you ever want to donate. THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK DEVELOPER. I'm using on an M1 Macbook Pro but think it works the same for everything make sure you refresh your google docs page or open a new one so that it works. DEVELOPER YOU SHOULD PUT INSTRUCTIONS ON THE APP. THANK YOU FOR THIS

• (2023-08-10) Nick: It's pretty decent when it works, however, for google docs, the page is still bright white (it would be nice if it was light gray or customizable), and there are a lot of finicky problems where it just stops working randomly and reverts back to a standard google doc view, which is extremely annoying! Most of the time, the only way to fix it is to completely delete the extension and reinstall.

• (2023-07-31) nessy p: i love this extension, but i was wondering, would it be possible to have the dark mode be a grey background instead of pure black? i think that would be a really nice option to have. sometimes i find the black bg with white text can be a little extreme contrast. is there any way for me to change this myself like in the script? otherwise, really great extension and i've gotten a lot of use out of it.

• (2023-07-28) olivia zester: Works really well, you're able to turn it on and off while in the document. Only problem right now is that when you use ctrl+f to search you cannot remove the search bar because this overlay is in the way. Hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise if you're having this problem too, click on the three dots on the search bar and then close the pop-up, that works for me :)

• (2023-07-22) Gina O'Leary: Second time in recent history that the toggle has interfered with the the scroll bar. Please. Those of us with large documents NEED that mouse-click-ability. Also now impossible to close the search box, which blocks text if the document isn't using the full screen. If you need to put these giant toggles in, put them on the left so they don't interfere with basic docs functionality. Or better yet, somewhere in the ribbon, since someone out there does use the document outline feature. It's a wonderful extension when it works. Incredibly frustrating when the UI interferes with the functionality, though.
• (2023-07-20) McKenna Wilds: Worked great until an update that made the icon too large. Now, if I search for a word, the finder menu is stuck on my screen because the add-on covers the finder's X button!

It even used to work for the home screen, but now I'm blinded if I so much as think of opening the home screen for google docs. Putting the toggle on the scroll bar was the stupidest option, the left margin makes way more sense. You don't need to fix something that doesn't need fixing...
• (2023-07-18) Man OhMan: It worked fin 'till they updated the look, now the icon is too big so it covers the side bar so you can't click the side bar, when you have a doc that's huge it's a big pain not being able to use it while in the first 20th of the doc.....

• (2023-07-17) E. K. Knight: Not sure why the interface has to change every few months. I liked the inconspicuous tab at first, but then it shifted so a sidebar that prevented me from scrolling using my cursor, which also had a big distracting red cross you had to disable every time you opened a document. Now it's changed again with a more subtle sidebar, which I like, but again, it prevents me from scrolling using my cursor. When I disable it, I have to reopen the document to get it back in order to change options. App works fine, just has a few minor but very annoying issue.
• (2023-07-17) Aiman Sayed- Khaiyum: Worked fine until yesterday. Now it doesn't darken the page automatically; I have to do that manually now for each document. Hope this gets fixed soon.
