I saw that some people had trouble with the page itself being white and the background going into dark mode, but that's something you can toggle pretty easily by just clicking the button on your screen. It actually lets you choose if you want all dark mode or not, which is super convenient. I also saw that someone else had a problem with the button covering the 'x' when searching for a word, which I had too, but I realized you can actually just drag the button to a different part of the screen and solve this! Great extension overall, definitely recommend.

And because it's just color inversion, it makes images unviewable (because it inverts them too), highlighting useless, and content displeasing to the eye. All-white text on an entirely black page does NOT look good -- and this is what the extension does. Avoid it.

The most annoying thing is when you try to use the mouse and click on the scroll bar to move up or down (useful when parsing a lot of pages for specific text when you don't know what the text is well enough to search for it, I know it's a weird thing but it comes up for me often enough.) You end up selecting the page count instead of the scroll bar then begin moving random lines around in the doc. The absolute worst, and it seems random bugs constantly pop up with this app.

You have to click the SUN/MOON button AND YOU ALSO MUST CLICK the one below it then you have black background and clean clear bright white text. The P button is just for if you ever want to donate. Only problem right now is that when you use ctrl+f to search you cannot remove the search bar because this overlay is in the way. Hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise if you're having this problem too, click on the three dots on the search bar and then close the pop-up, that works for me :)

• (2023-07-22) Gina O'Leary: Second time in recent history that the toggle has interfered with the the scroll bar. Please. Those of us with large documents NEED that mouse-click-ability. Also now impossible to close the search box, which blocks text if the document isn't using the full screen. If you need to put these giant toggles in, put them on the left so they don't interfere with basic docs functionality. Or better yet, somewhere in the ribbon, since someone out there does use the document outline feature. It's a wonderful extension when it works. Incredibly frustrating when the UI interferes with the functionality, though.

It even used to work for the home screen, but now I'm blinded if I so much as think of opening the home screen for google docs. Putting the toggle on the scroll bar was the stupidest option, the left margin makes way more sense. You don't need to fix something that doesn't need fixing...

I liked the inconspicuous tab at first, but then it shifted so a sidebar that prevented me from scrolling using my cursor, which also had a big distracting red cross you had to disable every time you opened a document. Now it's changed again with a more subtle sidebar, which I like, but again, it prevents me from scrolling using my cursor. When I disable it, I have to reopen the document to get it back in order to change options. App works fine, just has a few minor but very annoying issue.

  I downloaded the extension last week, decided I didn't like it, and deleted it. Ever since, all my google products have remained black pages with white text.   Generally this extension works well and is simple to use. However one problem I noticed is that it blocks the "X" button on the control+F search box. When I press control+F to find something in the document, a box comes up on the top right side of the screen. On the far right of this box there is an "X" button for closing this search box. This "X" button is now inaccessible when the extension is active. Dragging the extension overlay to a different part of the screen still does not make the "X" button accessible (you can try to click it but nothing happens, as if something invisible is still blocking it). The nearby scroll bar is also blocked in the same way.

  Love this extension! One quick suggestion: in Google Docs, under the document outline (tab on the left), there's a space for adding a document summary. When I add a summary in this space, the text (medium gray) is barely visible on its background (medium-dark grey). It's pretty impossible to read. It'd be great if this little item could get fixed. For some reason with this new update the color of the documents themselves are now black as the rest of the layout.   I love the extension and have been using it for some time, but there are a couple boxes that become impossible to read because of the dark mode. The first problem I noticed is under Format, Align & Indent, Indentation Options, the Special Indent selection box is grey with black text when it really needs to be white with black text like the rest of the Indentation Options pop up (or the whole popup needs to be darked out, regardless it needs to be legible). The second, and more important, problem I noticed is under Insert, Equation, where all of the special characters are a weird aliased black, meaning that they're actually impossible to read on the grey background. These aren't critical problems but they are annoying, especially when writing lab papers. Regardless I still love the extension and put up with having to switch it off every time I write an equation.   A recent update added buttons to the right hand side of the document. Unfortunately the iconContainer div covers the scrollbar meaning that it cannot be interacted with. This can be resolved by changing the iconContainer CSS to use margin rather than padding, so hopefully this will be a simple fix.

  Hi, I've been finding your extension very helpful. However, in a recent update I've noticed whenever I want to keep the word count displayed on the page while in dark mode, the word count box is also in dark mode. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but the word count text within the box is defaulted to black, making it really hard to see. I'd really appreciate a fix with that.

The borders and ribbon at the top all go to dark mode, but the text page itself won't regardless of what I try.
